Many times, photo booths photo are dull or dark. Sometimes the layout or the design is too basic or boring. With Aww Snap, the owner Joey presented us with many options. My husband and I were able to customize the layout and design of our photo booth pictures. We used our engagement photo background and also incorporated our own monogram and the same font that we used for all of our wedding details (save the dates, invitations, place cards, etc). Being able to personalize the photo template to our desires was such a nice touch. Thank you Aww Snap for working with us and giving us the freedom to create our very own customized template. "Good Morning Antonia, Just wanted to apologize for the frustration this morning with your heater order, the last thing we want to do is be a headache with event rentals - I will briefly explain a couple of things while we refund your order. It's true that we do have a 100% cancellation policy in place for same-day orders, many places do, and that's simply because many of these are resource-heavy and yet we enjoy fulfilling last-minute needs where needed. Even though it takes a large number of resources and overhead to implement, we know offering same-day services are crucial to events at times. We stop warehouse production in any department necessary, we recall a driver to come gather the new order, and we re-route them back on the road, hopefully balancing other orders already on the schedule.....all in an effort accomodate events in this great city. Secondarily, and more importantly - this cancellation policy will be immediately looked at internally because we should have some flexibility with it. Preparing a rush order for heaters does not consume the same resources as preparing a new order for tents, tables, linen, or cooking equipment - I understand that, and Dorca was simply doing what is asked of her. But this situation brings a good point to mind - when/how/where should we implement some flexibility and can we communicate it better. We will learn. The couple I worked with decided to hire a photo booth at the last minute and, being so close to the wedding date, Take-A-Pic was the only photo booth company in the area that was available. Thank goodness!! We were fortunate enough to have such a sincerely great vendor to work with. Isaac and his wife arrived just before the wedding reception, and were able to set up discreetly on one end of the venue with little to no distraction. Their equipment is more modern compared to other bulky and hideous photo booth vendors I've worked with in the past. They had an open set up, which was perfect for large group photos. Isaac actively worked with the guests and assisted them with pressing the buttons and letting them know when to smile for the next shot. I really liked the props they had. They weren't the tacky and whacky props you normally see; instead, they were classy and suited the wedding. When my couple weren't too happy about the original custom design they requested, Isaac and his team accepted a new custom design we created for the "logo"/"monogram" part of the photo strip. They easily incorporated this design for us and it was wonderful seeing it in actual print on the day of the event. Overall, I will gladly recommend Take-A-Pic Photo Booth because they had wonderful customer service, a clean and classy set up, suitable props, easy and quick tear-down and set-up without the distraction, and are fairly priced. Both David & Gena keep in close communication with us. Even during a serious health issue they did not miss a beat and kept in close communication with us. During the celebration they made sure that we took family shots so we did not miss out. The props were the best props we have seen at any photo booth experience we have had. The props were well organized and in bins which made it easy to select for the pictures. There were more enough props so we did not have wait for any prop from the group in the booth. If was an effortless process. They made sure that everyone was aware of when it was close to the end of the booth time so that anyone who did not get a chance to go to the booth had the opportunity to take pictures before they closed up shop. When they were done the gave us individual pictures of our son & daughter-in-law and the photos of the family along with a thumb drive of all the photos that were taken of the evening. We are very pleased and had many comments on how well the photo booth ran and the total experience. PBX will definitely be on our list for our next celebration!
