‼‼ DO NOT BOOK LILAC AND LACE AS YOUR WEDDING COORDINATORS ‼‼…read more We had Lilac and Lace @lilacandlacesd as our coordinators for our 10/11/2025 wedding in Orange County, CA. [For context: ~230 guests, Vietnamese-American wedding with 12pm Catholic mass ceremony + 5pm reception at a museum.] I hope and pray that no other bride/groom will experience the level of stress, frustration, and disappointment that we did on our wedding day. I will say that leading up to our wedding, our calls/texts with Ariana (owner) were helpful; it was the day-of services that failed us when we needed them most. Ariana notified us 9/29 via email that she needed to have surgery the following week and would be handing off our day to a different coordinator (Kez) and assistant, as well as providing another assistant for free - she assured us we were in good hands. (As a nurse, I completely understand prioritizing health and how difficult it is to get urgent surgeries scheduled, and fully agreed with Ariana that it was the right thing for her to do.) First, Kez and her team DID NOT SHOW UP TO OUR CEREMONY. Multiple logistical/crowd control issues occurred during/after our mass, which would have been prevented by the presence of a coordinator. Ariana states this was due to a miscommunication and took responsibility for this. The call time at the reception venue was 2pm, Kez did not arrive until 2:30pm and one of the assistants did not arrive until after 3pm (as 3pm is when my husband and I arrived on-site and we were informed by Kez that the other assistant was on her way.) The assistants never introduced themselves to us, I can't even tell you their names. When we arrived, Kez did not know about our outfit changes or where our grand entrances were from; this was covered in detail at our venue walkthrough (which was only attended by Ariana, and should have been communicated to Kez.) Other errors that occurred during the night: songs switched for parents' grand entrances (Kez then asked if we wanted our parents to reenter, obviously not as that would be extremely embarrassing and disruptive), our second grand entrance in our traditional attire not caught on photo/video because Kez did not notify them on time (again Kez asked if we wanted to reenter), Kez asking us if we were ready for the MC to announce cake cutting even though we wanted unannounced cake cutting , failure to announce last call on our late-night food truck so there was a lot of extra - the list goes on. Again, these were all covered in detail during planning calls and at the walk through. Ariana assured us that a coordinator/team member would be with us at all times during the reception - however, we could not find them at multiple points throughout the night. My MOH ended up coordinating the majority of the evening and handling communication with the coordinators, as I was on the verge of tears every time I had to see them. Kez and her two assistants spent nearly 20 min tying a ribbon onto our welcome sign (which we did not ask them to do), our photographer actually had to shoo them out of the background of a shot. Lilac and Lace's coordination packages also promised free content creation with raw photo/video and a real delivered within 72hrs of the event - we never received this. We sent a strongly worded email to the company, and received an apology response that was very emotional but did not take full accountability. We have received a 50% refund although we requested a FULL refund. If you have only one takeaway from this review, let it be this: Booking Lilac and Lace for our wedding was our greatest regret - their unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and inability to coordinate RUINED our day. Please PLEASE book someone else to be your wedding coordinator - we wish we had. (Wish we had seen Denice M's Yelp review beforehand as her experience sounds eerily similar to ours) UPDATE: As of 1/26/26 we have received a thoughtful and sincere apology via email and the full refund.

The peace of mind, the coordinating/organizing, the follow ups... We could keep going. The customization took a huge burden off of both of us while still allowing us to build the wedding we envisioned.  Stephanie --You nailed it. Even when potential (family) bumps in the road arised during critical times, you rolled over them while maintaining composure and resting both of us assured...Which ultimately allowed us to remain in the moment and focus on each other. We can't thank you enough. Captain Emily -- like the butler from Mr. Deeds, you somehow effortlessly were there when we needed you, but never to be seen and worked efficiently and impressively for us & our guests. Jocelyn/Austin (cooks) -- throughout the night we had dozens of our guests come to us & compliment the food. Thank you for your incredible cooking! Aden/Reese/Aiden -- all 3 of you were beyond great servers, y'all were the upmost professional & responsive to our guests. Thank you very much!  Ronald -- to be thrown into the lions den and pull it off, was beyond appreciated by the both of us. We had another DJ that had an emergency whom we planned with and for you to be able to pick up where he left off was very important to us. Also, thank you for sticking to the script and not veering off when being cornered by family/friends. You did it graciously and politely, and that means the world. Overall, we'll be 1000% be referring you all to our next engaged couple! Couldn't speak more highly of this company & service.  From the bottom of our heart, thank you for making this amazing day, even more amazing! - Zack & Gabriella

My husband and I live in San Antonio, TX, and we got married at the Fallbrook Estate by Wedgewood Weddings location. Every step of the way of the planning process was seamless, professional, intentional, and clear. Everyone at Fallbrook was so helpful in answering texts and emails whenever we had questions, and helped make the virtual planning process not seem super stressful a long the way. The main person i spoke to early on was Lauren and she was fantastic! She has since moved locations but she is really a valued member! Oh the day of, our coordinator Angela was amazing and attentive and adapted to my (the bride) crazy ways and twist and turns. The banquet captain Emily was super sweet and really helped make sure the rest of the night went so smoothly! Additionally shout out to the severs (Ashton, Sierra, Niya and Aden), the chef (Jooclyn), and the bartenders (Julio and Abby) for making our wedding night a night to remember for everyone there, not just the bride and groom. Thank you wedgwood for helping make our night magical

We hired this company twice for real estate photography, and after both experiences I would NOT…read morerecommend them. Their photography and editing process relies heavily on bracketing, HDR processing, AI techniques, and outsourced post-production, resulting in photos that looked extremely overprocessed, artificial, and nothing like the home. The editing seemed to compensate for shortcomings in the photography itself. If the images were properly captured and processed, they shouldn't require this level of manipulation. Instead, the final product looked fake, with unrealistic colors and heavy-handed edits. After waiting eight weeks, we still couldn't use the photos to list our home. The biggest issue wasn't just the low quality--it was getting anyone to fix the mistakes. The salesperson, Kate, was genuinely kind and promised all the right things in the beginning, but once the project reached production, communication completely fell apart. We had productive phone calls. I sent detailed lists of corrections with screenshots, then received responses saying they were completed. Then, discovered only part of the list had actually been addressed. This happened repeatedly, requiring constant follow-up. Our Matterport and Zillow tours had mislabeled rooms, and an entire back portion of the house was missing from the floor plans. By the time those issues were finally corrected, we had exchanged 43+ emails and dozens of phone calls over six weeks, and each revision still only fixed part of the list. We finally got the floor plans and tours close enough to done. The photos still weren't right. Some were oversaturated, including a completely fake "dusk" shot that was not actually taken at dusk--it had a pink sky added along with a dirty darkening filter that made the street in front of the house look grimy. We were charged extra for that. Other areas of the home appeared smeared from AI processing, while the brass hardware pulls on the primary closet and bathroom were grayed out. The most baffling example: our white walls kept coming back gray. I even requested the RAW files to understand what was happening during the editing process. The RAW files showed that the original color information was accurate--the walls were white and off-white and the colors were natural. The unrealistic gray walls and closets were introduced during editing and no one would fix it. After several weeks of back-and-forth, I asked to speak directly with Cody, the owner and fellow real estate professional, who explained that his editing team had decided to make them gray because a previous property we had photographed with them had gray walls. I was astounded --- he promised it would be corrected in the next round of revisions and he'd get back to me. He never did. I went back to Marylou in production and waited for days. First, she claimed my email went into her spam folder. Kate caught that, so immediately texted me to make sure I knew it was being worked on. 5 days later, another set of revisions came back - everything still gray, previously removed shadows were added back in, edits we had updated this far were now gone - back to square one. The low quality photos we received look nothing like these examples shown on this Yelp page. Our first project had similar issues, but Cody had stepped in and made corrections early on so I certainly didn't expect to have this happen again. We experienced the same problems again - the quality issues, unrealistic edits, and need for extensive corrections were repeated by his off shore editing team. The lack of quality control and endless revision cycle were, in my opinion, profoundly unprofessional - especially considering that Cody and his team were all made aware that my husband is the Realtor and that we are selling this home. I'd hate to think this was intentional. This wasn't just an inconvenience. Because we couldn't get usable marketing materials for nearly two months, we missed a critical listing window. We requested a refund due to the proven quality issues and ongoing revisions that were not resolved over 8 weeks of time, but Cody refused. If you're a homeowner or Realtor with a time-sensitive listing, I would NEVER hire this company. We gave them every opportunity to make things right and still ended up without photographs we could use to market our home. UPDATE: Cody was not professional enough to return my husband's call -- as if ignoring all these mistakes means his team had done a "good enough" job. You all can see the mistakes in the photos below - it's NOT about 'satisfaction'. You decide if desaturated, AI mistakes are what you want when listing your home. See the silver handle, why can't they fix these simple mistakes?https://projects.truvueproductions.com/listings/019e7f23-2c00-7188-be5d-2443091576d2/download-center#&gid=1&pid=26 Cody NEVER reviewed these photos after asked 3x. Where are the photos from the 2nd trip there?

The flow between each space was beautifully planned. Not to mention the giant lawn, perfect for sunset photos. Our guests loved every minute of it. The staff were AMAZING! I was turning into my residential area with my signal on when the driver of this truck tried to split the lanes and almost caused an accident. Driving so erratically that they almost caused an accident is more damaging than a bad meal.
