There are amazing group deals on their website as well as some more information about the business! Melissa, co-owner, was there the day we went in and she was so so welcoming. We were supplied ponchos and shoe coverings as well as lockers for our things and even hair nets and accessories. They thought of it all! Melissa explained everything to us and made sure we were comfortable before leaving us to our creativity. I absolutely loved the fact that we were always checked on as well as our paint and cleaning waters. Melissa would make encouraging comments I needed because I for one am not creative. In addition, there's a Fall Break Art Camp for grades 2-5, where children will experiment with a range of media including watercolor, acrylics, and collage. As I walked through the space, I was able to watch artists at work and enjoy the current gallery exhibits on display. The atmosphere was inspiring and welcoming. Adult fall classes--running October 6th through December 13th--are also available, covering both visual and ceramic arts. Each class is taught by individual instructors, making it approachable for students of all levels. Best of all, online registration makes it simple to sign up. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that such a wonderful resource has been right in my neighborhood all along. It was a great experience, and I've already registered for pottery classes--something I'm really excited about! We started with the Splatter Splash Experience, and it was really cool to have the room to ourselves. We started at 11AM. You can pick a Spotify playlist - so we danced while throwing paint everywhere and got a little workout in on the spin-art bike! Next, we did the Pour Your Bear/Canvas combo. You choose four colors (additional colors are an extra fee), paint your bear, and then use the remaining paint to create a matching canvas. The bear takes a few days to dry, and you can schedule a pickup when it's ready. We wore clothes we didn't mind getting paint on, but they also provide painters jumpsuit, boots, hair ties, and shower caps. Small lockers are available for shoes and bag. Overall, this is a great option for ladies night out, date night, or birthday party. Highly recommend!

I intentionally dressed up for the occasion because I wanted to honor both our marriage and this new chapter of my life. I expected an evening of painting and candle making. What I received was something far more meaningful. Although I happened to be the only guest who booked that session, my instructor, Sabrina, transformed what could have been one of the saddest days of my life into one of the most heartfelt and memorable experiences I've ever had. Knowing my circumstances, she went far beyond anything I could have imagined. She surprised me with a beautiful dozen roses, a signature Paint with a Twist wine glass, and a gift bag simply to make my day special. That level of genuine compassion cannot be taught--it comes from a truly kind heart. Because Paint with a Twist welcomes guests to bring their own beverages, I was able to bring my husband and my wedding flutes and quietly share a personal toast in his memory. It was a deeply healing moment that I'll cherish forever. The studio itself reflected the same warmth and creativity that Sabrina showed throughout the evening. It was clean, welcoming, well organized, and filled with inspiring artwork. Just outside the entrance was a charming café-style seating area that invited guests to relax, visit, and enjoy the creative atmosphere before or after class. As if the evening wasn't already perfect, it ended with an unexpected gift from the city itself. As I walked outside after the session, fireworks lit up the Lawrenceville sky. I watched them from the Paint with a Twist parking lot, and it felt like the perfect ending to a day filled with love, remembrance, healing, and hope. I left with much more than my very first candle and an original painting inspired by love and my new normal. I left feeling seen, valued, and reminded that even on life's hardest days, kindness has the power to bring joy back into someone's heart. Thank you, Sabrina, and everyone at Paint with a Twist, for creating an experience I will never forget. I think the real value, and I know the variety, is found at the Kennesaw store. I selected this store due to the fact that it was 25 miles closer.
