I intentionally dressed up for the occasion because I wanted to honor both our marriage and this new chapter of my life. I expected an evening of painting and candle making. What I received was something far more meaningful. Although I happened to be the only guest who booked that session, my instructor, Sabrina, transformed what could have been one of the saddest days of my life into one of the most heartfelt and memorable experiences I've ever had. Knowing my circumstances, she went far beyond anything I could have imagined. She surprised me with a beautiful dozen roses, a signature Paint with a Twist wine glass, and a gift bag simply to make my day special. That level of genuine compassion cannot be taught--it comes from a truly kind heart. Because Paint with a Twist welcomes guests to bring their own beverages, I was able to bring my husband and my wedding flutes and quietly share a personal toast in his memory. It was a deeply healing moment that I'll cherish forever. The studio itself reflected the same warmth and creativity that Sabrina showed throughout the evening. It was clean, welcoming, well organized, and filled with inspiring artwork. Just outside the entrance was a charming café-style seating area that invited guests to relax, visit, and enjoy the creative atmosphere before or after class. As if the evening wasn't already perfect, it ended with an unexpected gift from the city itself. As I walked outside after the session, fireworks lit up the Lawrenceville sky. I watched them from the Paint with a Twist parking lot, and it felt like the perfect ending to a day filled with love, remembrance, healing, and hope. I left with much more than my very first candle and an original painting inspired by love and my new normal. I left feeling seen, valued, and reminded that even on life's hardest days, kindness has the power to bring joy back into someone's heart. Thank you, Sabrina, and everyone at Paint with a Twist, for creating an experience I will never forget. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to everyone--whether you're celebrating life's happiest moments or searching for light during its most difficult ones. They provide the paint and supplies. The artists can help you sketch what you want on your shoe so you don't need to be artistic. They have different decorations you can add to the shoes and different shoe strings at an additional cost. My own issue was the staff catered to one family who paid them to design their shoes, so they were not very available to help my Neice with her shoes. They did have snacks and water and are also conveniently located in the mall.

I hosted my 21st birthday at this place and it was INCREDIBLE. Everything, from the planning, to…read morethe payment, to the accommodations, to the actual painting session-- it was handled so professionally and yet it still felt so personal, I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially because I had a lot of issues settling on a date. Kate was the person who handled this specific interaction and I'm not sure if that is always the case, but she is such an easygoing person and was so understanding and patient during our communication, and when everyone showed up to get started painting everything was already set up and the environment was so relaxed that it was impossible NOT to have a good time! Kate guided me to choosing a painting for my party that would fit within the time limits, and the options are nearly limitless so there is definitely something for everyone! Even the boys had a good time! Again, Kate is so relaxed and patient that painters of all levels were very comfortable and she was very helpful in answering any questions! Good to know: they do have adult beverages as well as sodas and water available for purchase! All supplies, including aprons, are included in the price of participating! In short, we had an incredible time and came away with gorgeous "party favors"--our paintings! Would love to come back for a class!
