Make sure to ask for a supervisor if you are not happy with your service or answers and if they tell you no one is available tell them you can wait and have someone else call you back. Took my cat here to get spayed. Price is very affordable however process of checking in and picking up your cat in my opinion is not very efficient. There building an area of business is very small so I understand why they have a pick up and drop off system. Please note come 20 mins earlier than your drop off time. Everyone goes here because of the affordability of the surgery. Like gets very long. Staff was great and friendly to me, however you can tell they need to rush as much as they can to get the animals in. So please note customer service will not be the best far from other places. One of them ended up getting sick with pneumonia, possibly due to the anesthesia or the presence of stray cats they were operating on that day. I ended up spending $450 on another vet. They butchered my cat she will forever have serious scar tissue and trauma ended up having to take her to the emergency vet and spending over 300 to get her on pain meds and antibiotics they also had to scrub her incision site to even be able to tell what they did to her it was so botched. They over glued her and the emergency vet was even talking about having to reopen her and scrap out the shit ton of glue they piled in there not to mention it took them three days to contact me back about the situation and by that time I'm already out 300 plus what I gave them to spay my cat... unless you want your cat dead or seriously botched don't go here read more

My cat was starting to mark his territory, making my family and my female cat very uncomfortable. I was able to find an opening for a neuter in two days, which is much better than waiting 3 weeks to be seen at my vet. The girls were super friendly, and they answered all my questions. Pre and post-op instructions were very clear. This place is super affordable, paid less than $100 for a neuter, whereas my vet was going to charge me $500 *But if you love you pet very much, I'm sure you'd feel better bringing them to a vet you trust* I didn't mind buying some supplies-that they mentioned on a slip after I dropped my cat off-if it meant they will be able to continue charging reasonable prices and having an open spot for me. I made a vaccination and wellness check appointment over 6 weeks ago for my puppy at Snip It. I heard they weren't as expensive as most vets and I'm on a budget. No truer words "Remember you get what you pay for" apply to an establishment more than Snip It. The staff emailed me 2 hours the morning my appointment was scheduled stating there was a scheduling error and the vet only does vaccinations on Wednesdays. I was very upset to say the least and called several times to only got their voicemail. I tried calling again several times and finally got a staff member. I told her the situation and said I planned around this vet appointment weeks ago. She asked if I wanted to reschedule the appointment and I told her that it's hard for me to change appointments without planning for it. While on the phone with the staff member I probably heard every excuse in the book from her but never once did she accept responsibility for not contacting me weeks ago. I also told her that I called last week and left a message to confirm my appointment because I was making plans around it. I never heard anything back from them until the morning of the appointment. Her excuse was they've been busy around the holidays. Also when you make an appointment you have to give them a $10 deposit and if you cancel the appointment the $10 becomes a donation to their clinic however not once did I hear her say that they were going to refund my money. I will never take my puppy to this clinic knowing how unprofessional they are. I would be afraid that they're like this with your pet. No, thank you! The women in that place are not pleasant at all and the aggressiveness that they speak to you is beyond words! You can't ask questions because they give you attitude and then they look at each other and speak amongst themselves as if the question you asked was unreasonable. I am a huge donor of animal Rescues and I will be damned if I ever give that place a dime of my money! I'm always skeptical bringing my kitties somewhere new, but money has been tight for us and we needed a low cost place to get one of our rescues spayed. We made the appointment online very easily, had several email reminders and instructions on how and when to drop her off. We were greeted by friendly people and happy associates who seemed to enjoy their jobs which makes any pet owner feel at ease. The process was smooth and organized from beginning to end. We had a small issue where my girl broke out of her cone of shame and licked her incision and opened it back up, we called back about a week later and spoke to the doc and they told us to bring her back by, they cleaned it and put some more glue without charging anything. Someone who speaks to human volunteers like that has no business being around animals who have no voice. I would give less if i could, do not ever bring your x-small dog here. This was my baby the day i picked him up, and he cried for 2 days straight. The day after i took him back in and they told me he was dramatic. Maybe they're great with cats or larger dogs, but wouldn't tell anyone with a small dog to come here. They also told me they were charging me $10 for 2 puppy teeth removed and they only removed one puppy tooth, told me i could bring him back in and pay to get the other removed if i wanted. read more

Brought my kitten her (7 months old) to be nurtured. You know that saying you get what you paid for? Well, this holds true to this place. My little baby hasn't eaten for 4 days. Her breathing is labored, and she is withering away on me. I am bottle feeding her and preying everyday she gets better. They claim it is an upper raspatory infection, but IT IS NOT! 1. I've had many cats in my life and know the signs of an URI. 2. I have 2 other cats and dog and they are not sick, URI are VERY contagious. They don't return phone calls and have an automatic messaging system through Facebook. I would NEVER EVER recommend this place to anyone and pray to god my baby makes it until I can get her to a real vet instead of a butcher. Also, their Facebook page claims that they are a 5-star rating... yeah that happens when you delete the negative comments. These people should be really ashamed of themselves! read more

Very affordable way to get your pet spayed or neutered. I took my male dog recently. You make an appointment and have a mass drop off that morning. When you arrive, there are clipboards outside on a table for each pet. You then get in a line to sign the paperwork and wait to pay. After that, there's a mass pick up at particular times depending of if you have a dog or a cat. The good thing is that the surgery includes a rabies shot. I already had my dog vaccinated, but would have waited if I would have known. Price wise, my dog was only $75 plus I added on $15 to have him chipped. They also and you home with pain meds for three days. Not a bad deal! read more

Always a positive experience here. Got my 2 dachshunds spayed/neutered here and everything went great both times. I recently took my 3 year old dachshund here to get his first dental cleaning and they did an AMAZING job! And the staff is always super nice! And you truly can't beat the prices here. My regular vet was charging $700 starting just for the cleaning not including initial "consultation" or x-rays. I only paid $250 for X-rays, anesthesia and the cleaning. I can't express enough how much I appreciate the services provided by Snip-It. I found their staff to be very professional, knowledgeable, and they were really organized. More importantly, their prices are very reasonable especially the cat/kitten feral package. For example, this year (2017) I have already taken (9) ferals to them at $50 each while last year, I took (2) kittens to the veterinarian for $250 each. Not one of the (9) feral cats/kittens had any issues from the surgery, shots, chips, or medications! We found a stray Shar-Pei/Rottweiler mix and wanted to make sure he was fixed before finding him a home. The neuter was only $75 and they called us during to see if we wanted to get his eyelids fixed while he was already under anathesia. As a Shar-Pei, he had rolled in eyelids and the hair was scratching his eyeballs. Another vet quoted us $600 and they did it for $40! These people are amazing and it's so great to be able to help out a pup without emptying our bank account.
