    Baby sloth!

Our family had an amazing experience on 8/7. This facility's main purpose is to provide care and housing for exotic animals that need a home. Many were purchased as household pets and, when the owner realized that most exotic pets are not a great idea, needed a new home. You can tell how much this facility loves their animals. This is open only for private tours which is easy to book on their website. I highly recommend a visit to this facility. Of course the high point is petting Penelope the capybara, PJ doesn't much like people as well as petting sloths. But there are also farm animals, Wilbur the pig, goats a donkey, alpaca that you can interact with. They do note that if the animals do not want to interact, they will not force interaction. This shows to me that they are here for animals first and humans to educate. Always beware of any place that will force animal interaction with humans, as it can be very stressful to them. We loved our time and would love to come back again.

I've been here twice now and am a HUGE FAN! Don't worry when you put in the address and it takes you to a house, that is correct :) This property is set back off a neighborhood road but they have a huge backyard (acres) where all of the lovely creatures are safe and sound in their own spaces. Everyone is SO nice. You learn SO much. The animals are SO cute. Who could ask for anything more? You get to hang out with some capybaras (sometimes there are babies!), pet some pigs, goats, a donkey, sloths... So fantastic! I really appreciate learning about the struggles some of these species have and what is being done to help them. Come check it out!

I had a wonderful evening with the capybaras here. Penelope was feeling sociable and the babies were just too cute.

Private tours for $50/person! Absolutely loved our experience. It was just three of us girls and we got to hold a boa named Glades, feed and pet capybaras and sloths and got to meet a bunch of cool animals. The gal giving us the tour is so knowledgeable and made it a lot of fun. We also learned you should buy orange juice from FL because when you see the juice is made in places like Brazil, they are destroying rainforests. I definitely recommend going!

We had an amazing time! We learned so much! We were very impressed with our guide and everything she knew about each animal, their names, their story & all the details about them. Petting the Capys and Sloth were a bucket list and it didn't disappoint. We loved the one on one feel, unlike just going to a zoo and reading about animals surrounded by lots of people. If we come back to Orlando we will definitely visit again!

Wonderful experience! A small place with big fun and close up time with critters. Our guide was so great with my kids and they enjoyed learning about their favorite animals! Highly recommend the private tour!

One of the baby capybaras knocked out from belly rubs

My partner and I had an amazing time with Megan for our tour experience! Be prepared for the humidity and bugs though, the mosquitoes were starving. All of the animals were super cute and fun to learn about and see up close and personal! Would definitely book again with the company. The capybara in the picture is alive and well, just asleep from all of the belly rubs and chin scratches!

So much fun!! Learned so much and got to see all kinds of amazing animals! Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to see uncommonly seen animals!

I have a love for sloths. I was thrilled to find out they had a place i could actually see and pet the sloths. So me and 2 others went down the Saturday after Valentines and had quite an adventure with the animals. They require a $40 deposit and you pay the rest after the tour. The $40 covers one person entry and there has to be 2. Or more in your group. They have 2 tour times we chose noon. This place has all kinds of wild animals and some you can pet some you can't. I came for the sloths but i learned so much about animals some i had never heard of. The tour is about an hour and a half and i would recommend others to go and see the animals. The money goes towards food & other things for the animals. It's attached to the back of the couples home. We really enjoyed out selfs. The animals are already named so the slots were Luke &

What an amazing place to visit!! We had a great time seeing and learning about all the different animals in their care. Will go back to play with the capybara next time I'm in the area (mom had just given birth that am...omg the babies are soooo cute). Loved the meet and greet with the sloths...incredible creatures!! Highly recommend

I booked a private tour for myself & my daughter & it was incredible. Our tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly & funny. We got to see animals that are so beautiful & we learned some new information. The capybaras were incredible & we were able to see Penelope's (mama capybara) babies. The armadillo was hilarious & the sloths were lovely, if you have a child that loves animals this is the place to visit. You must make a reservation!!!!

Amazing animals is Amazing... can I say that?? We live around the corner and found about this on social media, and as big animal lovers we decided to book a tour. First of all, when you get there you find yourself at a house... yes I was confused too, BUT they have a whole animal world in the back that it even feels like you're been transported to a different place when you open the side patio door. Our tour guide was so cool -sorry I forgot his name-; Friendly, knowledgeable, and a true animal lover (which is what you want to know when visiting these kinds of places). Every animal had a story as they are a rescue place. And every animal has a very unique personality too! We were able to interact with some of the animals, and my daughter and her friend were loving it. While they were enjoying the interactions, I was just all about the stories. And, of course we got to enjoy a very close encounter with a sloth at the very end! Who doesn't want to be close to, and feed a sloth??!! I truly recommend you visiting this hidden gem...you'd be supporting a good cause, plus you'll have so much fun... mostly if you have little ones that have been locked at home since before spring break!

I cannot recommend this experience enough. Amazing Animals Inc. shows what it's truly like to care for animals! Especially those local to their home. We found this place by chance through Google searches of all kinds and were impressed with all of the reviews! We are from NC but we're visiting the area for Disney and wanted to find something unique to do outside of the Disney bubble. This ended up being a surprise birthday gift for my husband and brother in law who both love animals! My husband never dreamed that he would be able to interact with a capybara on such a personal level, and the experience we had with the sloth blew us all away! Megan was an incredible guide informing us about all of the animals they house, most of which are rescues, which we thought was incredible. She did a great job teaching us about the different animals and how we can help save their homes. Also this business is a non-profit, so the money for your tour goes straight back into caring for the animals. We may not be local, but we visit the area for Disney at least once a year, and we will definitely be back! We can't wait to see how this place grows. My only wish is that I would have gotten more pictures, but I tried to pay attention to learn as much as possible! 10/10.

This is not a huge zoo, but it has all the animals you'd hope to see and more. It was an extremely hot day, but we were able to find plenty of pockets of shade and rest areas to cool down. My son is only 2, but he loved seeing all the animals, the interactive kids stations, games, and puppet show. Pretty sure he like the puppet giraffe more than the real giraffes, but hey, he was entertained. Speaking of giraffes... they have a giraffe encounter where you can actually purchase the food and hand feed them. They come right up to you and it's such a cool experience. We happened to visit during Bear Week, so there were some extra black bear demonstrations, kids crafts, and bear themed activities happening throughout the day. Some other animals we saw that day were bobcat, jaguar, lions, flamingos, wild turkey, ostriches, rhino, kangaroos, meerkats, otters, antelopes, boar, snakes, and many more. I did not realize before visiting that they have an entire water play/splash pad areas for the kids and it's such a perfect way to cool down when it's so hot outside. I wish I had packed my son's bathing suit and a towel, but now I know for next time. We'll definitely go back as my son gets older! We were there for about 3 hours and it was enough time to stroll through all the exhibits and have lunch. You could definitely stay longer if you choose to participate in some other activities like the Treetop Trek ropes course, train ride, kayaking, or the different animal encounters which are an added fee.

First the safari - You drive your own car through this safari and in our experience, you really don't have to worry about damage to your vehicle. There are so many animals, many species that I didn't recognize. When we entered the safari, we were given a booklet that had photos and brief descriptions of all of the animals, and that was a huge help in identifying what we were viewing. I loved that we could go at our own pace and there were plenty of pull-offs for us to use if the vehicles behind us wanted to travel more quickly. The animals trulya re right in front of you - most are wandering freely without cages, fences, or other barriers, and at times we had to stop to let animals cross the road in front of our car! At the end of the safari, there is a place where you can park your car and go up to a platform to feed the giraffes ($5 per person). We did it and it was so much fun to get to see the giraffes so close and have them take food right from our hands. We enjoyed the safari so much that we went through it again after touring the gator park. The gator park was super fun as well, and there are so many animals other than gators, too! We enjoyed the gator feeding. It was fascinating to watch them eat chicken meat off of a hanging line, and the commentary provided by the show's host was very informative. We also enjoyed holding a baby alligator and getting a digital photo. My 17 year old daughter loved the add on of the lemur experience. She, along with about 6 other guests, got to go inside a room next to the lemur exhibit and interact & feed a lemur. She truly loved this experience and it was definitely worth the added cost. We spent about 5 hours here and could easily have spend an hour or two more. Check Groupon for discounts on tickets and enjoy seeing all of the animals at Wild Florida!

We thankfully found a spot by the black bear exhibit that was air conditioned and had only two chairs, so I could feed our daughter. There were MANY other moms that came in looking to also feed their kids and it turned into a waiting game as we had to take turns using the two chairs in that building to sit and feed our babies. The animals were neat to see, because it was so hot a lot of the animals weren't out or were in shady places within their enclosure. I can't think of anything that is more fun than spending an hour with two different capybara babies. Mango and Kiwi. On the way in we petted the camels. They came right up to the fence and stuck their large heads out. They were seeking attention because they very used to being petted. We were startled when one made a loud guttural braying sound. The owner explained they were letting us know they want carrots. We had about 20-25 minutes with each capybara so all together the encounter was an hour. We got a plate of raw sweet potato sticks and romaine lettuce leaves to feed each animal. They were about 4 months old and Mango the male will be about 140 pounds full grown and Kiwi was the runt of a different litter and is expected to be approximately 90 pounds when full grown which is a very small capybara. It was just my friend and me so we spent time petting and feeding them. They love water so their coat was smooth but fur like a beaver. They are in the same family as guinea pigs so they make a similar sound. They have leathery pads on the bottom of their back legs because they can kick like a kangaroo. They like being scratched under their chin and relax so much they fall over and then are disoriented about what just happened. Hilarious.
