It was gorgeous. But I really want to emphasize how excited we were to be able to see whales at such a close proximity to the boat. We followed a trio of whales (from a distance, of course) for about an hour and got so many thrills from seeing them coming up for air and show off for us. And we saw one breach. I hope that our captain (I apologize that I completely forgot his name, but he goes by two initials) is have a great experience in Alaska. He mentioned he would be going up there to fish. I know the herring were spawning up there and that is quite an exciting time for the local Natives who thrive on the herring roe. I highly recommend Bob Marlin charters and hope to go back there some day.

My son was putting it on and it ripped. The day of the return Paul was the person helping my wife. My wife told Paul the the other fin ripped. My wife called me on the phone about this matter. He was going to charge us $29 for the damage fin. I was pissed because those fins was old and thin already. I can understand If it's new. We didn't want to pay the $29. Aqua Zone was about to lose a customer and a bad Yelp review. Paul called the owner and the owner was nice enough to not charge us. So I'm a happy customer once again. Thanks to Paul for working with us about this problem. Aqua Zone is still our go to place!!

Had the best time snorkeling with sea turtles today!…read more Boat ride was ~20 minutes. Anchored out by Waikiki Beach, just past the surfers. The reef itself is not colorful like Finding Nemo, but there were plenty of fish to see and quite a few turtles swimming around. We saw a handful of large sea turtles and a few baby ones. Loved watching them come up for air and swim around beneath me. Glad to see how comfortable turtles are with snorkelers. We had one person chase after a large turtle to try and touch it. There's always that one kid in class... Crew members were great! Friendly, knowledgeable, and brief! My partner went diving and had a lot of fun seeing the little sharks down below in the caves of the reef and swimming with turtles. Water visibility was good, not as clear as Molokini in Maui, but this place had turtles!! I THINK they're limiting capacity due to COVID, which is nice since the boat only had 8 people. Definitely would do this again!

I am a certified PFI Level II Intermediate Diver and usually Spear at 30-50 FT (PB line depth: 30m). I researched other snorkel activities and most had groups of 35 or more, so 19 is about as good as it gets without paying someone for a private snorkel tour! I wish there would have been a water lounger for him to use to get him into the water, but he enjoyed his conversation on the boat with the Captain which still gave me the opportunity to snorkel. The 3 women crew were confident and capable from the Captain to her first mates! We motored out to Shark's Cove, and saw a huge pod of spinner dolphins on the way! Once the anchor was dropped, we snorkeled where we saw plenty of coral, fish, and two sea turtles! We loaded back onto the Cat for lunch with drinks and a sail back to the dock with our 3 women crew really showing their skills by unfurling the sails! They were well organized from having sandwiches nicely displayed after the snorkel to the shoes being displayed on dock after the excursion! They had every detail well thought out and planned which kept things running smoothly! Be sure to use the restrooms at the dock before boarding; otherwise, you're contributing to the toxins in the sea during the snorkel! ‍

The catamaran is the way to see the whales (IMHO) because you sit on an unobstructed mesh net between the hulls or on the hulls, and can see everything without any blockages. Our trip was about 2 hours with another couple on the boat. When we were about 10 minutes into the voyage, we spotted the first whale pod of a baby whale, the mom and another adult. It was magical to get so close to them (100 yards by law), hear them blow the water and flop around in the ocean. Taylor and Brewski couldn't have been nicer locals and great hosts on the boat. Highly recommend!

He makes scuba diving easy and relaxed. His classes are small and intimate or he can take a larger group of friends/family members. He is easy to work with and an outstanding communicator. He answered emails and phone calls promptly, and was on time for each of our meetings. He was able to adjust his class to fit my schedule. My class was a one to one ratio, and you just CANNOT GET ANY BETTER than that. I still cannot understand why more people would not gravitate more towards this kind of instruction rather than the larger classes that the bigger shops tend to have. It was like having my own personal coach. I was completely at ease with him and learned a great deal. I plan to continue my education through Dave, and that says a lot.

He was extremely knowledgable, patient and had really good, positive energy to help the girls gain confidence on their first dives. He had a vast knowledge of where things were underwater and what we should see while we were there. We got to see sea turtles, white tip sharks, and many fish gathering around the coral reefs. He helped us complete the referral dive tests with flying colors! We would highly recommend him as a diving guide or instructor. He took pictures for us of all of the highlights so we didn't even have to worry about the camera. Very organized and informative the whole way through. Excellent!
