When you walk inside, there is a counter to order with the staff and display case with all the desserts. They have menus available on the counter, so pick one of those up and look through all their options. I will be coming back because... THERE'S SO MANY DIFFERENT DRINKS TO TRY. This dessert shop is rather hidden. It's a small quiet cute shop. They had games such as chess, uno, checkers etc; Walking in, I was greeted, and she took my order immediately. Their menu has a large selection for drinks. It's limited in terms of the dessert foods. While I didn't try the drinks, I tried the Oreo cheesecake and it was pleasant. Wouldn't notice when you pass by York Rd but it's actually a cute little spot near the mall and new condo area. I find their milk teas more affordable than the rest and the teas taste great! Uncomplicated order process, like their milk teas automatically comes with boba! Several bingsu flavors available, good for one person only. Everything on the menu looks interesting to try! Would definitely be back to try their cakes one by one! Dining area looks clean although it may not be able to handle multiple large group of customers. Love to come here for their drinks! We got the Emperor's Elixir and Sky Star Drink. These drinks were very refreshing and I liked that it already had a topping included in the drink. Additionally, if you want more toppings there is a pretty good selection for an additional $.50. Service was quick for the drinks, I think we got the drinks within 5 minutes of ordering. There is a couple tables around that you can sit at to enjoy your drinks and any other items. I think the only con is that their parking lot is a little difficult to park in but other than that, this is a nice local shop that sells delicious drinks! read more

The service was quick, they had enough seats around to comfortable include a couple of small groups and there place was really clean. Wow. I've had boba tea in California, Europe, Georgia, NYC, etc. and this place was probably the best I've ever tried. I even had to go back the next day to order this drink again. The matcha flavoring was delicious and I loved I could order it with 0 added sugar. The tapioca pearls were the perfect consistency and not too sweat. The milk cap had the perfect balance of salty and sweet plus the ratio they added to the drink was perfect as well. I also appreciated that they did not overload the drink with ice and gave you a good amount of drink for the price. This place was si okay amazing. It didn't taste fake and full of fake low quality pre-made boba mixed. Honestly I can't recommend their matcha boba with a milk cap enough. I will be dreaming about this drink until I visit MD again. We found this cute boba place thanks to Yelp. We wouldn't have seen it otherwise since it is nestled in a strip mall and hard to see from the road. I was happy to find that they offer shaved ice, but a bit disappointed to find that it was more like mango sherbet with some fruit and rice krispies sprinkled on top. This hidden gem is a must to try. they have a lot of good fruit drink. When I first tried it, I want to come back again. I came there 2 times already. Their drink is much different than the other boba tea drinks in the area. I think it's more flavor and health. They also have shave ice which I have tried yet. I tried the Hawaii Sunset and Star Sky. Came to check out Snow Cloud since it recently opened. I ordered the Taro Milk Tea with coffee jelly, and i received a complimentary Mango Mousse. The good: Although the Taro Milk Tea did not taste like taro, it tasted really good because it tasted like Korean barley, and it's a flavor I really enjoy. The Mango Mousse was free, so that was good, but it is a small dessert. The bad: The Taro Milk Tea didn't really taste like taro, so if you're expecting a taro tasting drink, I would not recommend it. The Mango Mousse wasn't a smooth mousse texture, but more of a panna cotta. It is a bit pricey for a small piece of pasty, so not sure if I would pay for it. Overall, I enjoyed the Taro Milk Tea with coffee jelly and the Mango Mousse, and I would probably come back to order the Taro Milk Tea again because I really enjoy the barley flavor. read more

Delicious! My boyfriend got the Emperor's Elixir (with tapioca instead of mango pearls) and I got the Classic Milk Tea. I would say they are some of the best teas I've had. The boba is small and tender, and the tea flavor shines through in the best way, even in the fruit tea. Oftentimes with fruit teas they are too sweet or juice-forward, but this one was great. The milk tea was a good choice too, not overstepped or bitter at all. The service was VERY fast, and the employees are so nice. I wanted to try their desserts but I was already full from lunch, so I'll have to come back (the tres leches looked so good). Came by on a Saturday at 5:30 PM. No tables were available, people were just kind of sitting around after eating and were taking up the limited seating, but by the time we got our desserts and a drink everyone had randomly gotten up and left by then. Took about five minutes for our entire order to be ready, which wasn't bad at all considering we ordered one of the fancier drinks and a strawberry shaved ice. I ordered the Four Seasons drink, which was a Yokult yogurt drink that had fresh fruit (lime, orange, blueberry, and strawberry) and rainbow jellies in it. It's $6 for the drink, but it honestly is very big and they put a lot of jelly and fruit in it. I was worried that it would be too sweet, but it was pretty good--all three of us really liked that drink. The desserts we got were a strawberry shaved ice ($6.95) and a slice of taro cake ($3.95 I believe). We'd all never had taro desserts before, but it was a pleasantly light cake with good flavor. The shaved ice was pretty big, it came in a plastic container (probably due to COVID), and was topped with strawberries and little pieces of like cereal (they were puffs, I don't know what they were exactly). Always love shaved ice because it's a nice light dessert, and this one hit the spot. Unlike the Korean bingsoo I'm used to, the entirety of this ice was flavored. All in all, I'd come back for the drinks. I think I prefer the shaved ice at Den Da over by the university, but this one wasn't bad at all. Just personal preference. They also seemed to be taking COVID seriously, as there was a plastic partition all around the area where the workers were, lots of hand sanitizer around, and all of our food and drinks were in plastic takeout containers versus the normal plating I'd imagine they'd use. As with many Asian dessert bars, expect bubble tea, shaved ice, and pretty matcha, taro, and red bean cakes. Having tried their tea, shaved ice, and other dessert drinks, I can confidently say that Snow Cloud has some high quality produce, accompanied with a nice presentation. Love visiting boba tea houses because each place has something different that they offer. We got the oreo milkshake, wintermelon taro with boba, the sky star (passion fruit with chia seeds with lychee jelly, lime, mango, and strawberries), and a fresh mango smoothie. The nice thing about their products is that most of their drinks already come with the boba or the jelly so you don't have to pay extra for them. Yum! In Towson to see a friend and I got an itch for a bubble tea. Went to my phone and found this place within a mile of where I was located. Quickly drove over and took a quick scan of their menu. I quickly started drinking this tea and loved the flavor and taste of it. I thought the coconut milk tea was delicious and prices were comparable to other local Bubble tea places I've been too. I hope they get more business, since their location is not the best and there is another chain bubble tea place nearby. It was clean and the workers(probably the owners) were so friendly. Also the sizes were very large for the price paid. Also they had beautiful display jelly cakes and other desserts that were so pretty, I didn't have any but maybe next time. I would like to see them start a punch card reward system or other deals to bring in more business. Also, widening their bubble tea flavors would be great as well. My bf and I came in @8pm and the store closes @9. I'm a big dessert fan!!! but.... scenery is important too... The TV's were turned off and there was no music. They had a few board games but we didn't want to play since it was dead quiet and awkward. We went inside and was not greeted but just stared us down while I looked @the brochure menu. We got the mango mousse (which tasted like poundcake, not smooth at all, and barely flavor), the caramel pudding (cute bunnies but not that sweet), panda shaved ice (normal - its just chocolate and vanilla), and the Hawaiian sunset (which was actually pretty good - very fruity) When we left I placed the plate on their counter (didn't see a place to put empty plates any way) since I didn't want them to walk over to our table to clean it up - it was late (8:26) The dude did not bid us adieu instead he just continued staring.... The cakes were pretty disappointing. I tried one of each, and none of them impressed me. The tea is good, though.

In terms of decorating their desserts, Snow Cloud's execution is masterful, and I would give it a 5 starts out of 5 in that regard. However, I've been here 2-3 times now, and almost every single time I've been disappointed with the flavor falling a bit flat. I have to knock two stars off for that. For example, I'm a big fan of mango or taro flavored things, but there was hardly any flavor. I applaud that they're trying to do something different with taro cake, mango mousse, custard shaped bunnies, and caramel tres leches cake. However, the only dessert I tried that I actually liked was the caramel tres leches cake. To be fair, I haven't tried their boba or other interesting drinks. Those could be good for all I know. I will give them kudos that the shop is taking COVID safety precautions seriously from what I can tell: there's a giant shield wall, and all the employers I could see were wearing masks correctly. read more
