I had gotten 30% sweetness, but it was still really really sweet. I might go no sweetness next time. The milk tea was good! We got 3 original egg waffles. They made them one by one, it seems they have one dedicated egg waffle maker for the original. Even then, it only took like 9 minutes for those egg waffles. I could see it being a lot longer if it was super busy/multiple people before you had ordered waffles. I wish they had a peanut butter/condensed milk topping combo instead of just condensed milk. The teas are oversteeped. My order was undrinkable it was so bitter. When I politely brought it up to the staff, she immediately got an attitude and accused me of ordering it that way while trying to explain to me that tieguanyin (which she pronounced incorrectly) is a strong black tea. Wrong: it's an oolong, and you oversteeped it. She refused to offer another drink until the manager came back. The manager replaced it with another tea which sadly was oversteeped too. If you care about quality of tea and proper steeping methods do not come here. It seems to be fine for sweet sugary drinks in which they cover up the oversteeping with sweetness and milk, though the tannin and caffeine levels must be insane. read more

Staff were friendly and usually complete orders pretty quickly. The various boba drinks are pretty tasty, but can be inconsistent. There is no indoor seating, so in the winter be sure to have a plan. I loved the Boba even though I feel like they omitted the tiramisu foam I paid for. I ordered online because I had read reviews about the line going out the door and around the corner but I don't think ordering online really helped because there was no online pickup area and I still had to wait in line to pick up my food that was just sitting there. I also got a couple steamed buns and sticky rice...they were ahmazing!!!! Now writing about them makes me want to go get some more today. They were perfectly soft with traditional filling. I came to this cute bubble tea shop a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a large pearl milk tea with no sugar which is basically black tea with milk and boba aka pearls. The tea was amazing, it was perfect, not overly strong or weak, the milk and tea were balanced, and the boba was not hard or over cooked. I only ordered one drink, I wish I would've ordered two, smh. The customer service was cool, the parking can be a little crazy, but that won't stop me from coming back. Having grown up around here and remember The Avenue in my childhood, it was a godsend to visit home and discover we now had boba on this side of town. Not only that but TWO boba options (there's a Kung Fu Tea by the mall). Naturally, I had to investigate. The first time I came on a Friday night and the line for ChaTime was literally outside the door and wrapped around the side of the block. We ended up leaving because we didn't want to wait in the line, but stopped by recently on a Sunday afternoon. Line was still out the door, but it was more manageable, so we stood in it. My sister got a tiramisu milk tea--she doesn't even like boba, but she had this tiramisu milk tea one time here and has sworn upon this drink ever since. A large for that with regular tapioca pearls was like $6, which isn't terrible price-wise. I got the Peach QQ, which came with tapioca pearls and coconut jelly already in the drink with no extra charge. All QQ drinks automatically come with pearls and coconut jelly. The Peach QQ was a bit sweet, but I definitely would've preferred it to a milk tea. My drink (size large) was only $5. Service was quick despite the business, and all the staff members were masked. Would probably recommend ordering in advance online and just picking it up if you think it's going to be a busy time because that line can get really long. read more

I've tried butterfly pea tea when Kung Fu offered it, so I'm interested in coming back to see what Chatime's version tastes like. The reason I give four stars instead of five is that the service doesn't compare to the attentive service at TeaDM (in Arlington, VA) or Lily Bubble Tea (in Crystal City). This actually dare i say is my favorite boba in maryland, tied with gong cha in towson. Chatime white marsh is by far one of the most consistent in regards to quality and has the best service. This place was pretty busy on a week day afternoon. Im glad I visited. All of the staff wore masks. We ordered two teas mango milk tea and thai coffee milk tea both with boba, and two chicken baos. The staff were great, they assisted us as my sister coached me lol. They were out of the flavored boba so I ordered the regular. The flavor was great, I wish I had sipped slower. The staff is super friendly and the place is very peaceful. The bubble tea is phenomenal and they make their bubbles in a soaked brown sugar. I love this place...only downfall is the $5 minimum for any debit/credit cards. I hate that considering on drink is $3-$4. To meet the minimum you have to buy two drinks, that's stupid. I've been here a few times when I've been with someone, otherwise I won't come in by myself. I think if they want to increase customers, they need to lower the minimum or get rid of it, like most businesses or only accept cash. I forgot to mention, they do allow you to sample some of the teas, so this will help you try new flavors and learn more about the different flavors available. With that being said, I do recommend this place for people to get their bubble tea from. I am glad that I found out about this bubble tea place. Its location is perfect when you plan to go to White Marsh. I like this because of the location. It is very close to the movie theater. You can walk around the area at night time, spend sometimes around the area. They have lots of different kind of drinks you named and many topping. If you like boba tea, you should definitely try this place. I think they have some kind of reward/ points so that you can redeem it if you come there multiple times. I happen to venture upon this place while strolling through the Avenue. Super excited to have a decent bubble tea location in the White Area. They have a unique menu of different bubble tea flavors. I've tried their Matcha mousse and Winter Melon mousse. The Matcha mousse sort of just tasted like matcha powder but I don't blame them since matcha powder is hard to work with. The winter melon mousse is absolutely amazing. The mousse layer adds creaminess to the drink. The staff there is super friendly and awesome.
