Great pricing! Super fast turnaround time! Would 100% recommend! I had a dress that was insanely big on me in some areas and I sat on it forever before trying to take it to get tailored. I dropped it off on a Tuesday and they had it ready for me the following Monday. I think they could've done it faster but I didn't need it until later that week. The adjustments were perfect and the dress fit me like a glove!! I was worried that it may be a little expensive to make the changes I wanted but it was only $25 because my dress was only one layer. They definitely have a customer for life in me. Note: I have a colostomy so thats why I have a bulge but they altered it I'm the perfect places to make sure I had room for my ostomy! Whatever you do, please do not use this place. I have had repairs here have had to come back and the outfit was still not fixed. I brought in a skirt which they messed up and then was told they didn't do that work. The woman could not even see where that was messed up. Please please please don't use this place. They have done great on all of my alterations the past few years. I brought in two pairs of jeans. One they fixed very well. The second they couldn't fix them. I paid $30 for alterations and came back and they were HUGE still. They said they'd do it again for an extra $15. So in $45 total I lost on a $90 pair of jeans that are ruined and can no longer be fixed after 3 tries. They're great with other types of alterations and materials but I don't think they really know how to work with denim. read more

DONT EVER GO HERE. They only get one star because you can't post zero stars. Our family has been doing business with Snow white's for years, but I think they simply don't care anymore. I took 2 $150 hand me down shirts to have them taken up. When I picked them up they were still way too big so I took them back for a redo and she charged me again. I took in a robe to have her put a couple buttons on so I could throw away the useless belt, and got two plastic snaps that looked like a 5yr old had sewn them. I had a 1" long rip on the back of my $350 Kuhl jacket, just under the hood, so I found a rectangle morale patch that was plenty big enough to cover the rip. The kind that you iron on the Velcro 1/2, then stitch it down. This could have been done perfectly by even the worst seamstress in the business. They did not use the patch and stitched two 3" long hideous Frankenstein lines all the way through the coat, off center and not parallel to themselves or the coat's seam 1/2" away. Ruined the coat. The coat has a patch on one shoulder so I gave them another patch to put on the other shoulder and they did not put it on. They don't have time for you. As you are explaining what you want they cut you off and dismiss you. Last time I was there she practically pushed the other customer out of the way, who wasn't done with his alterations, so she could pin up my shirt as fast as she could. You don't get a receipt or any accounting for how much each item was and the only take cash. We are never going back. read more

I love having this shop in my "back pocket" when I had a last-minute hemming! Snow White is so great with making alterations and doing them quickly. I didn't even have to pay a rush fee! I'm a bit on the short size so alterations are expected with almost every dress I purchase and maybe a few jeans too. She does a great job using the original hem so that the look remains intact. Our family has used Snow's shop over the past 6-7 yrs. I'm picky on my work dress clothes. I buy sale suits & tailor them here. I make weird requests-- like adjust the left sleeve to match the angle of the right on the tweed coat I got from a thrift. Their work is spot on, 90% of the time. And I'm talking 40-50 items that they've done for our family. Never had a problem with them making it right. To the guy that dinged them because of a $3 hidden charge, for an extra repair--I read that review thinking that if every single $3 increment is crucial--you should probably ask for a quote at end of presenting all items. I've never had any unreasonable charges or other than what I'm told. Our family uses Snow with confidence. read more

This place is busy, and I can see why. They were pretty friendly, and we got our jeans tailored at a reasonable price. $8 to shorten our jeans. $12 if you want them to use the same thread as the rest of the jeans. They can even taper your jeans to skinny jeans for an additional of $10 (only the lower part below your knees). Can't remember how much it cost to taper the whole length of the jeans. Our jeans were ready within a few days too. read more

First to review -- surprising but excellent nonetheless. I live in the land of tailors: New York City. I was in town visiting friends/on a mini vacation and had a few things that needed tailoring (one of them jeans that were too long). It went like this: Me: I love these jeans but they're too long and if I take them to tailor they'll screw of the hem and make it look ghetto Best friend: Wait! My bud knows this place that can make the hem look original Me; No way **he texts his buddy** **buddy texts back Snow White** Me: Ok, let's go today so they can be ready by time I leave. He and I both take items. We arrive and it's crowded. I mean SEVERAL people dropping things off and picking things up. Never have I been to a tailor where there was a line. Well, that must be because they do an AWESOME JOB. And very quickly. And the prices can't be beat. I am impressed, so much so that I have told my friend whenever I need things tailor I will either send them to him to get done or bring them with me on my next visit to Tulsa. read more

I discovered this place about a year ago and they have done a great job fixing holes, re-hemming shorts and jeans, and also fixed a zipper on a formal dress. Yesterday I dropped off two pairs of jeans that I wanted patchwork done on and a sweater with a huge hole in the sleeve. All three articles totaled 27$. I never write reviews, but I have been to this tailor twice now and have been so impressed by the quality, speed and customer service that I had to say "wow". It literally made my day to bring in a pair of pants that needed a hem and she asked if I wanted to wait while she did it. What!? I've never heard of such customer service - I was taken aback. You mean I won't have to make another trip here to pick them up later after 5 or another day?? Then before I even had a chance to get into a game of solitaire on my phone, she was done! Like magic!! And the charge? Only $3.00!! The first time I went there I was desparate for alternations before leaving for vacation and they did just as excellent a job. After reading several reviews online, I thought my experience would be excellent at Snow White. I brought a tuxedo pant in to have the bottoms hemmed. The previous evening the owner quoted me a price over the phone of $7, which I thought was reasonable. I got there the next evening, tried on the pants for him to mark the hems, and the seamstress got to work right away. I really appreciated that I was in and out within 30 minutes; granted the job was simple. However, in the tuxedo jacket there was a thread on either side to support the shoulder during storage. I asked him if I can easily remove this, and he volunteered to do this for me. He never mentioned a charge for this, something I could have done on my own anyway. When I got the pant back, he told me it would be $10. When I referenced our conversation the night before when it was $7, he told me it was $3 extra for having pressed the pants and removed the shoulder threads. I called him out on it, and he became extremely rude and hostile toward me, saying something about needing to pay to keep the lights on and we don't work for free. I was taken aback, paid the $7, and left--never to come back again. I don't appreciate hidden charges and undisclosed fees. $7 means $7. So if you chose to go here, be warned about undisclosed costs and clarify before the work exactly what any costs will be, even if it's something simple that sounds like a favor. More than the $3, my displeasure with this shop was the rudeness by which I was treated. Not customer friendly. Oh, and they take cash only...no sales tax added. I have been going there for years. Never an issue. They have done everything from prom dresses to pants. The women in the shop are friendly and have always helped me look my best. They always gave a price before I left the shop so I would know what cash I would need to bring when picking up my items. They are a cash only shop. I went in to have a shirt altered. The arms needed of a bit of nip and tuck and move both buttons. The man that was in the shop that day did not give me a price. When I ask he said that it would be "regular". Had me write my phone number on a ticket and my last name. I thought at the time this was because I am in and out all the time. He started waiting on another person. They moved the button over it looked horrible they just cut off the button moved it over and left all the material to gap and fold over my wrist! I could have moved over the button at home. I was willing to let this go because they have done a good job before. Then he gave me a price $35.00!!! I told him that is more than the shirt cost. I asked them for what?? He said that the arms were $15 each and to move the button was $5 each. WHAT! I ask why he didn't tell me or at least warn me of the cost? He said I should have asked if I didn't know. I felt like this was lot of money based on what they have charged in the past for much more complicated work. He was very rude and said if I was not able to pay why get shirt done. I told him saying that to me was not professional. Not stating a price for each and every alteration was wrong. He then said I should have waited to get the price after he waited on the other customers.Ok mister... really... After this, and knowing I was not happy, I was expecting him to adjust the bill or even comp it especially since I am there a lot. I paid the full bill but needed change. He was not able to make change so he said he would take off 5 dollars. This was the exact amount he would have need to make change. What a sad turn. I loved this place. After this I will not go back. The shirt looked awful on and off the hanger. They took advantage knowing this would be a heavy charge. Don't let the man help you he is rude and has no customer service skills. i went here thinking they would be great, i read the reviews and my grandma had highly recommended this place. I went a picked up my prom dress two days ago, there was no time for her to fix it. When i went and dropped it off she pinned it exactly how i wanted, but when i picked it up it was even fitted!! Its still loose where it shouldn't be and my prom is today! I'm so disappointed and i will not be going back, neither will my grandma who LOVES this place. She should have altered it how she pinned it, and it wasn't even close. read more

First off, we had a friend tell us this place is awesome and cheaper than most. But you get what you pay for. They completely altered my prom dress wrong and it still doesn't fit. Also she commented about my weight gain and acted like it was my fault that she altered it wrong. They didn't even bring out the dress in the first place. It still doesn't fit and my prom is today.
