Jessie is AMAZING! Preparing to leave to drive home I found…read morethat my sway bar link was gone on my driver's side. I had a five hour drive home and had to be at work the next evening. This is on a Thursday. Every shop I called said maybe Saturday or next week. I was panicking! I called Jessie and he kindly agreed to come out after his last job. He arrived around 8 p.m. I had already had my friends take me to get the necessary part. So I thought we were set. Upon removing my tire Jessie found that my wheel bearing hub was bad. He took the time to discuss with me what was wrong and that he recommended that it be replaced. He then agreed to keep working on removing the wheel hub while we ran to Auto Zone, which thankfully had the part in stock and is open late. He then replaced the part and had completed the other repair. It was then about 9:30. Then, despite the late hour and that he looked exhausted he took the time to talk to me about when I got home to make sure I checked the other tires for similar issues. That these things have a way of happening together. He was beyond professional and courteous. I then get the bill and am incredibly happy!! In my area shops usually charge $130 an hour. Jessie is incredibly reasonable. I got fantastic service by a qualified mechanic for a great rate! Plus, he saved the day and I was able to get home for work. I am beyond pleased! I only wished I lived in OBX and could use him for future repairs. Would highly recommend Jessie to anyone in the OBX area. He came same day and saved the day!!

Was a bit offputting and I had no idea why he was so angry. After I pulled up, he said something to me and I didn't answer right away and he said, "talk to me! if you don't talk to me, I'm not gonna do no work!" I mean, this guy was just full of animosity towards me. By this time, I'm getting angry myself and said "well don't then. Just close the hood." He went ahead and replaced it and I paid the lady in the office (who, by the way, was very nice). As I was pulling away, he was just standing there glaring at me. Rudist behavior I think I've ever encountered from a place of business. The main technician there that day, Paul, was able to fit me in at the time I requested, fairly late in the day. When I arrived, he was very professional and courteous. He had one of the mechanics there immediately start work on my car. The mechanic was fairly young, but clearly took pride in his work. Although it was past the time he was supposed to be off, he took his time and made sure he did it right. He also checked the tire pressure, at my request. An oil change is not that big of a deal and it is not a glamorous set-up at their shop, but I had a very good experience with them, which is more important to me than anything. I recommend trying their services, if you need work done on your car.
