I asked if the doctor's available she said no. I asked if the doctor prescribed therapeutic phlebotomies. The receptionist went back, talked to him came out said no. This is an alternative medicine Dr... I turned to leave, apologizing for interrupting them. She goes back into the closed area, tells me to wait. Coming back out, she hands me the phone number of a Physicians Assistant 30 miles away in Latham. Then she hands me a retail flyer about their prices and what they offer which is basically shots of vitamins. I was appalled. The doctor is busy ,he wouldn't talk to me, and he had no customers. What I asked for seemed to be cosmically horrible I could tell by her expression, when it's actually something that's been done for a hundreds of years. And they have the gall to ask me to refer them to other people. It's just beyond the pale. I would not recommend them.

The misandry is the most annoying part tbh. I'm tired of being treated oddly just because these women have experiences with men that have nothing to do with me, a patient. Find somewhere else to go; Unless you like misandryst angry women, some people are in to that. If you go here, see the doctor. The NPs are barely qualified to be doing what they're doing. Oh, the NPs lowkenuinely appear to be abusing drugs as well.

I've been a patient of Dr. Love for more than 10 years and even brought my family to his office. He has always seemed competent and trustworthy, and I've relied on him through some of my most challenging health issues. Recently, however, I received a letter dismissing me from the practice over an unpaid $136 balance I didn't know existed. I was told letters and a voicemail were sent, but I never received them. With six people in our household, it's possible mail was misplaced but I have never been late on a payment in over a decade of care. I always paid small copays when in the office if necessary. A quick look at my record would have shown this was unusual. Ending a long-standing patient relationship over a small balance and a simple miscommunication, especially during one of the most difficult health periods of my life, is deeply disappointing. I've been in the office multiple times for this health issue, and my annual physical was scheduled this same month. I would have gladly paid the balance had I known. To make matters worse, my conversation with the office manager was frustrating and lacked any empathy. When I expressed my concern, she simply asked, "What should we do if there's a balance and we can't reach you?" A better approach would be to review each situation individually and consider a patient's history before making such a harsh decision. After 10+ years of trust, I was treated like a number. This experience has been disheartening. I can't imagine Dr. Love is aware of how his office is being managed, but I hope this feedback helps ensure no other long-time patient is dismissed so abruptly over a modest balance and poor communication

But…read moreI would say that I have had more problems in Albany's Stratton Med Center then in Glens Falls. Sure it may be a bit of a drive from the Capital District, but it could be worse, it could be in another state! Yes, I have been in better, newer clinics, like Kernersville, NC, but that clinic, I am sure has it's own problems. One of the biggest problems today is their short staffing. It may take some time before you cqn get an appointment, for some up to a year. But I am sure that the personell at other clinics experience the same sort of problems! And there are a few other clinics in the Albany Area that you can try! Or go back to a civilian primary provider! I have found the staff at Glens Falls, helpful and courteous, even though they are short staffed! But give them a break! They are doing the best they can with what the government gives them to work with! And I don't think that the VA is very high up on the pecking order of funded programs in the government's view! They are having more problems with other things, such as Iran, Deportation of Criminal Illegals, etc. The VA Clinics aren't at the bottom of the totem pole! But they are close to it!

They only care about the money that they get from injecting babies with tons of vaccines. My daughter had a bad reaction from a concoction of vaccines that they gave her, mind you this was a 12 month old. I asked if we could possibly do fewer vaccines per visit because of how lethargic she was for days after getting them, and I emphasize lethargic, it was borderline coma/seizure type stuff. She had white under her eyes and was acting so off for days if not weeks after... Anyway, I brought this up at our next appointment, and they said "NO WE FOLLOW THE CDC RECOMMENDATIONS TO A TEE.'' Okie dokie. Have fun injecting your kids and the doctors and secretaries not giving two fucks about their health and how they react to them. Fuck you all. Seriously. You absolutely do not care about the children. You only care about the dollar signs. THATS IT.

Told to wait in my car. Realize that the plastic folding table the nurses were setting up with a scale in front of dumpster was *for my daughters exam* that they planned to do in the parking lot on an overcast 40 degree windy day. We left. They then let my wife come back and bring our daughter in. If I was sick, *they both would have been exposed since we all live together* but apparently the whole "germ theory of disease" is lost on the nurses and doctors here. When called out on social media, they simply deleted the comments. After leaving notice of the incident on the NY dpt of health... We received notice that they would no longer be seeing our daughter. No surprise... We had found a new doctor that places patient safety and well-being above getting an insurance payment for a visit no matter how they have to conduct that visit. A plastic folding table in front of the dumpster in your parking lot is NO PLACE for a WELLNESS visit. They could have rescheduled. Could have even told me before they began setting up their parking lot clinic. Nope, they just brought stuff out and assumed we'd roll with it. The nurses had the audacity to be offended and defensive when I realized what was going on, questioned it, laughed that it was NOT happening, and drove off with my kid. This place was great, 20y ago. Now days they're more concerned with getting as many kids in, any way they can, and getting your insurance payments. Find someplace else. Any place else.
