After an unfortunate experience with my last eye care provider, I needed to find a new optometrist. Dr. Kline and Boyd accepted my insurance, and as a bonus, carried Oakley sunglasses which I was interested in. When I got to my appointment the reception ladies were very welcoming. I briefly browsed through their glasses and sunglasses selection before sitting down to wait for my appointment. Shortly after I was called back and did the normal eye exams. Dr. Jain was excellent. He actually took the time to [thoroughly] explain to me what I was looking at when showing me a picture of the inside of my eye. When it was time to pick out my glasses I asked a few questions and began to look around. The optician patiently waited as I tried on over 10 pairs of glasses. I then went on to pay for my services and product and the woman taking my payment was so friendly! I would most certainly recommend anyone to Kline and Boyd! read more

We moved to Queensbury 10 years ago, a co-worker recommended Kline and Boyd. My husband and I see Dr. Chivers, she's wonderful! She and the staff are very personable and professional. A couple weeks ago my granddaughter got a hold of my glasses which resulted in a couple of scratches in the lenses. I thought they were to old, but I took a chance and called to see if they were covered by warranty. Lisa checked and said no they weren't. I recently changed insurance and was going to go in and check on a replacement pair. A few hours later Lisa called me back and said she took another look, saw I'd purchased high quality lenses. She called the company and they said they were covered and she ordered the replacement. She called me last week when they came in and made an appointment for the repair. Excellent service! My wife and I recently decided our ancient spectacles needed to be replaced. We also have some travel plans, and our backup/spare glasses are equally "long in the tooth." I had a particular challenge in that I am undergoing treatment for an occlusion in the middle of my right eye. The optometrist had some tricks which allowed him to test my eyes without using the center/occluded part of my eye. I'm wearing and using those new glasses now. They seem to work great, but the final exam won't be til after the occlusion is fixed and I can try these glasses with clear eyes, left AND right. I expect that if there is any problem, they'll make it right. If not, I'll be back here to amend my positive review. These were not inexpensive specs. Mine were $800, my wife's came in around $600. Of course, it's not just product we pay for, but rather service. And the service, so far, has been FABULOUS. read more

Dr. Boyd provided the best care for my eyes during my appt. She took the time to discuss my eye health and is so personable and professional. For many years, I have had contacts and glasses to help my poorer eyesight. She prescribed new lens and glasses and now, every night when I change from my contacts to glasses, I thank her. They are the best lens that I have owned and I can see better than in any of my past glasses. Thank you, Dr. Boyd, for taking the time and knowing how to fit my more complex eye requirements. These guys are awesome! I have two main complaints about our industrial sick care system. The first is that most medical professionals make you wait forever. And the second is that when you do finally get in, they rush rush RUSH you. One of the reasons I like Dr. Kline & Co.'s practice is that they are the complete opposite of this. They don't make me wait forever. And when I'm in there, they take the time to do a good job and to fully answer any and all questions I have. I never feel rushed. They are true professionals and do a great job interacting with their patients. I love them. read more
