Making the reservation was easy, Mike got right back to me via phone and email and was very pleasant to deal with. We booked the party, I got an email receipt and confirmation and we waited for party day. I got a confirmation call the evening before, and was told that Ryan would be our party crew for the afternoon. He kept in close contact via phone on his drive over and when he arrived was set up quickly and ready to go. He consulted with me about what games to make available to the kids (we opted for no "Mature" games) and was available to them the entire time to explain games, change them, etc... The game selection was really great and there was something for everyone. Two hours was the perfect amount of time for our party, and one of the greatest things about this party was that I got to actually enjoy myself as well because the kids were so entertained that I had nothing to worry about. All in all, I highly recommend Mad Dog Gamer's Paradise and may have to book them again!

They interacted very well with the kids and the adults. Eric was also very composed when he had to engage with a man who was lecturing him about taking up the parking spaces in front of the park. It all worked out, but I felt he handled it wonderfully! The truck was beautiful and cool on this hot summer day. And every one loved the hamster ball. My son said this was his best birthday yet! Quite a few of the parents were talking about using them as well after seeing how professional they were and how much fun the kids had. I really hope they do. The only positive thing I can say is that they were on time and that communication with the owner was great. I was able to reach him via phone easily and calling to reserve was also easy. Now during the party, there were problems with connectivity. There were games that the kids were not able to play because it took a long time to update. And there are problems with using the monitor,seems like we cant use all of it because it logs off because it gets overloaded. When I asked the driver, he said he doesn't know and he points to the kid that was with him to answer. Also, I have issue with both the driver and the kid playing. I mean they are there to work and help but it seems that help is not readily available. My nephew asked for help and he gets dismissed, so my brother in law stepped in and that's when they want to help. Not so professional. As for connectivity, I was told that our area had weak connection but isn't it part of the mobile game truck to make sure that the bandwidth/internet is strong so no matter where you go, there will always be a good connection that way the kids can play the games. Its not like we get discount because we are not able to play most of the games. We pay the price that was set so we also expect that we get the right product and service.

My family came to The Painted Turtle this past weekend to attend their holiday party. It was our…read morefirst time attending, as every time we try to go, something else is always scheduled the same weekend we want my son to attend camp, or the family weekend camp. This is such a lovely camp, really well maintained and wheelchair accessible. The entire staff we came across were super friendly and happy that you can't help but be happy too. There were so many activities for us to do, that we didn't even get to finish everything we wanted to do like archery, building a cookie house, arts and crafts, etc. I wish we were able to come sooner so we could have more time to do more fun things! (I think I had more fun than my son did to be honest). As a scouting family, I've been to numerous scout camps and I honestly think this is actually better than some of the BSA camps I've been to in terms of activities and facilities - and the food was great too. They accommodate for special diets which was awesome for my son's gluten free diet. This is such a special place, and we are lucky that The Painted Turtle exists to give special needs kids the opportunity to enjoy the camping experience. I hope that my son and our family can return for a family weekend camp in the future!
