My story starts March 31, 2017 I called at 10:00 am spoke w/Anthony told him I had a groupon for a detail, I want to make an appt he asked the the yr, the make and the color of my suv which is a Mariner, tells me it's going to cost $25.00 more because it's an suv. I said ok, he gave me Weds 4/5/17 @ 9:00 am, I asked could I have a Sat appt, because I work during the week, he says they don't do vehicle details on the weekend. (Does not state that on the groupon, nor does it state this anywhere on there website hours are 7 days a week) On Monday April 3rd @ 12:30my daughter calls to see if she can drop her car off after we pick my suv up after done on Weds April 5, he told her that I don't have an appt on Weds. I was in my truck getting ready to leave for work, she runs out to stop me to tell me what he just said about my appt. I called SOSC back and talk to the guy I asked what happen to my appt and he said it's not in the book, I explained I told to Anthony etc etc, so he put me in the book, but my daughter couldn't leave her car they didn't have any appts. (bad vibes) Weds morning I brought my truck in (I was nervous already didn't like the way it looked or the area) A small asian (?) guy came out told him who I was and he said that will $25.00 before we start, I paid him handed him the keys and he drove it to the back of the car wash to put it in line to be next. 9:00 am sharp I was there. At 3:30 pm they called and told my daughter my truck was ready, she called me to let meknow, so my friend took me there to pick it up. I got there at 4:00 pm, the outside looked clean and shiny had no complaints, looked inside my rugs were soaked, the leather seats and dash didn't look shiny, the cloth ceiling and my sun visors were still dirty, so I asked him why didn't they get cleaned, he said (same asian guy) you can't wet them we cleaned them the best we could. Then I walked to the hatch back opened it and my floor mats were on top of the big mat that covers the back end, the mats were literally dripping wet when I picked them up the big mat was soaked and they did not look clean but they were all soaked. I asked him why are these so soaked and you've had the truck since 9:00 am, he said we wash them really good and it will take a while to dry. Mean while another guy (tall Black man) came with some cleaner to do the ceiling and the visors again, I told him don't bother it should have been done when you had the vehicle all day to clean. I went to get in the truck to leave and the small asian guy was still standing at my drivers door looking at me liked I owed him something, I told him I paid you the $25.00 this morning and he kind of laughed and said I know, I said oh do I owe you a tip, he laughed, so me "here's $5. cause the outside looks nice and this extra $2.00's is for me to buy a coffee, so I can go home and shop vac my rugs. I started my truck and the stereo was on so loud with rap music, I turned it down and told him never again. I pulled next to my friend to thank you her for bringing me and that I have to go home and clean my truck. As I drove away I noticed my gas was almost at half a tank, I had just filled it up Tues morning before going to work in Johnston, I only live in Cranston so where did my gas go? Then I figured my stereo was on high, my truck was running while cleaning it and my heat was on high so they used my truck's heater to dry my rugs. I got home at 4:30 pm, got my shop vac out and started vacuuming my rugs, took all the mats out of the back to find out they never even took the big mat out to wash they washed it inside the truck which had beach sand underneath it which was now mud. I had to put my floor mats and the big mat over baskets in my laundry room so they could dry. I took pics of everything wrong with this cleaning. I also smelt the rugs to see what they used and they did not smell like shampoo, they used plain water to wash my rugs. Even when I first got into my truck I took a deep breath and smelt nothing and I asked the guy why doesn't my truck smell clean, he said "Well we had the windows open" which I knew that was bull, I use cleaner when I clean it and it smells clean. I finished at 6:30 left all the doors open until 8:30 pm then shut the truck up for the night. Thurs April 6th it rained all day, couldn't open the windows to let the inside front and back rugs dry, so I had to keep starting the truck to run the heat on floor to help dry the rugs. Truck starter stays on for 15 minutes at a time, before it shuts off, did it once every hour for 4 hours. Fri April 7th inside rugs still wet, was able to leave windows and doors open, same for Sat. Sun April 9th, I went to put the mats back in they were crusty and still dirty looking, I pulled down the backseat to see if underneath was clean to find out that never got done. I had enough, I tried calling them at 5;30, 6, 7 no ans, website says Sun 8-8. I will call Monday morning!! DO NOT GO HERE!! I WILL let Groupon know also. read more

I saw this on my way, almost by accident, while travelling on Cranston St. I wanted my car cleaned for a road trip 6/13 but was told they had no appointments available until 6/22 but he would put me on the "cancellation" list. I was pleasantly surprised when he called several hours later and said I could come by in a hour since he had a cancellation. My back seat and floor was full of dog hair...and I can never get it as clean as I want. Now that I have been here, I'll never waste my time again even trying to clean the car. I waited ..it took (2) hours...and I can verify they never stopped for one minute. My car (2013 Ford Escape) looked better than the day I drove it off the showroom floor. There is not one dog hair anywhere...my husband couldn't believe it either. I was so thrilled I had no problem giving them a healthy tip..they had worked for it. The cost for the detailing was pretty standard and worth every penny. I have read all the other reviews and it's almost like I was at a different place...I can't believe all the negative remarks. I would recommend this place to everyone I know. And both the young men who worked on my car were very polite..I think one was the manager...he was definitely the guy doing the scheduling and the one who called me but I didn't catch his name. So Fresh and So Clean. That's how I feel every time I walk out of this place. I've never seen anyone pay more attention to detail like I do my image than Manny Fresh himself. A happy customer is how I always arrive and leave when I choose to to run some errands or stop by for a cleaning. It's good to know there's others out there that'll help me through my day whether bad or good, indirectly or directly. I love the fact this car wash comes with awesome guality, dominant leadership, and loyal employess. I've been to the other locations such as Johnston, Warwick, and Pawtucket but the lack of quality they offer is at most laughable. I don't mean to down grade, but I would like what I pay for, and when I visit these locations. I pay more for than what I get. Over in Cranston. They treat me more than a customer, as a customer, and as a customer should be treeated. Thank You So Fresh and So Clean, Cranston RI. I don't know about the other locations, but the one on Cranston st. in Cranston is wonderful! Manny, the owner went above and beyond to make our experience with his company an excellent one. The crew he has is top notch! Professional, polite and very hard working. What a great group of guys. Our car was garaged for a long period of time and had been invaded by mice. What a horrible smell! I called to schedule an interior cleaning as well as an ozone treatment to clean the inside vents. Six hours later the smell was gone and replaced with a fresh and clean aroma, just like the name. What really shocked us was that our car looked showroom ready and we only asked for a basic cleaning on the exterior. This car is white, yet not one speck of dirt was found on the front bumper or at the bottom of the doors. Unbelievable!!! The employees are disrespectful and rude. This place is a ripoff. Their Groupon deal is the biggest scam. Purchased the Groupon only to have the place in Pawtucket close. It took over a month to schedule a detail to find out they are closed. Called the North Providence location and the employees were rude and complained about all the cars and work they have due to Groupon deals sold. Also was told that I had to wait another month before getting my car detailed totaling to over 3 months after buying the Groupon to get serviced. This is the biggest joke and scam out there. I have a 2003 Beemer SUV that desperately needed some love. A friend of mine suggested So Fresh So Clean in Cranston. I met the owner, Manny, and his staff and Manny promised that I wouldn't recognize the car when he was finished with it. He delivered as promised. My car was clean enough to eat off of to paraphrase Manny. I would recommend So Fresh So Clean to anyone who wanted washing, waxing and complete detailing. They sold me a package of 10 washes and within a couple of weeks and closed the business. It was like 150 bucks or so not that it's a tremendous amount of money but it seems that they would've known their closing and shouldn't have sold package that they couldn't possibly honor. read more
