It had run stains on the cuffs and the end of the jacket where the maroon met the yellow, and I knew those weren't going to come out, but that was okay. I came to pick it up at the North location and one of the cuffs was missing, the other barely still attached. The sides were split open. The only part still intact was the lining. I probably would have had a better result putting it through my own washer and dryer. There was no note as to why the damages occurred. They still wanted me to pay for it, and luckily my card didn't process or I would have paid for 3/4 of the coat that I brought in. My coat is still there and I now wait to hear an answer. I do not recommend.

She tried to justify why she altered the dress the way she did rather than taking blame or calling me to explain why she thought she needed to make these alterations before doing so. This resulted in the dress being ruined and left me having to get a new one altered. She still charged me for the alterations and then proceeded to say I was being overly dramatic and was by far the worst customer service I have had. I like to be able to give back to small businesses like this in the community but this experience has ruined it for me.

I will make this short and sweet. She has done a great job with the various repairs I have brought in. She fixed a couple of ties, a torn inside pocket of a suit coat, replaced a zipper in a jacket; well you get the idea, I use her a lot. The prices are very fair and the only two issues I have ever had is that she is so busy it can take up to 10 days to get something repaired or altered (I bet I may be able to sweet talk her if I needed to...), and she only takes cash or checks. Not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Oh, and she also likes to be paid in advance. These only seem like odd requirements if you are under 35. It was the way of the world at one time.
