I stopped in because I had a couple of large, bulky comforters which did not fit at my home dryer and washer. Luckily at this laundromat they had several machines which would accommodate my needs. I suggest you bring your own entertainment because all they have is a tiny tv which is programmed to local news. About 30 minutes is more than enough; glad I brought my own book. If you get hungry while there you have plenty of dining options, even a liquor store if you need it. read more

I visited Soapbox Laundry on behalf of my boss. Her dryer was broken and needed to use Soapbox to wash/dry her laundry for about a week. When I visited, it looked like any laundry place...used and outdated, nothing special. The facility is large, though, with plenty of washing machines and dryers. However, my review is solely based on the laundering aspect of it. My boss paid for someone to wash, dry, and fold her laundry. When I went to pick it up, no one was taking care of the piles of laundry that auctioneers were waiting on. My boss' clothes were still in the wash sitting there and I was told to come back. The folding was neat and stayed in the bags but honestly, if I were to pay for this service, I would want a cleaner area. It just seemed dirty and was very messy with all of the laundry scattered on the tables and in a shopping cart. My boss wasn't too happy that the laundry (1 load) took a day to receive (after being there over the weekend). read more

Machines that worked were fine but facility was dirty and run down. More than half of the washers were out of order. Not a very clean looking place. Need to get the broken machines either repaired or replaced. I would not recommend it. I would look for another laundromat. read more

Had to lower my review as they do NOT enforce their mask wearing rule as mandated. Some customers with no mask at all and those with masks are mostly wearing them with their nose sticking out. #unsafe Owner was in-house and did not enforce rule or call out those with their noses sticking out. Great Laundromat ! I usually don't go to Laundromats, I do mine at home but since I sold my home - I needed a place to do my laundry . In the mean time my husband & I decided to try this place . Everything was clean . Used 3 washers ( $4.50 /wash about 30 minutes ) and 3 Dryers ( .25 / 8 minutes $1.00 per dryer worked for me 32 minutes ) $ 16.50 and I was done in less than an hour . People wore their masks which I loved , Management does not let anyone stay inside longer than they have to. After they load their machines -Most wait in their cars until they are done . The owner was very polite , friendly and made us feel comfortable - Everything was clean . I would high recommend . If you can go in the middle of the week and in the evening - Less people , More relaxed vibe . Thank you for your services - HAPPY HOLIDAYS !! read more

Great laundromat. Takes Credit Cards. Keep in mind, if you look at their website, they have a pickup laundry service, so don't be surprised if you don't get your three machines in a row. The 4 or 5 times I have been there I have never had a problem finding machines, and I typically do 3-4 loads at a time. They have nice equipment there as well, my clothes come out cleaner then they did when I had a laundry machine. They could stand to keep the place a little bit cleaner, but for a laundromat it's pretty good. Another plus (reason for my rating) - Great staff. I left some clothes in a dryer by accident. Next day I call and find out they had taken my clothes from the drier and FOLDED them. I went to the laundromat, and there they were, all nice and folded. You can't beat that! read more

I gave this place THREE chances.... the first time, it overcharged my debit card (the machines take credit cards) and it took me about 20 minutes to explain to the employee that was there and didn't speak a word of English that one of my machines didn't even have water running in it. She got me a new machine for no charge, but I never got my money back for the machines that overcharged me. the 2nd time, I came with cash, which on that day was a big mistake. All the machines were full. One of the ladies working there had to help me shove my quarters into the washers, which took about 15 minutes.....ridiculous Tonight, I gave it one more shot...They almost redeemed themselves until they had five or six workers in there at 8:30 at night taking machines out, drilling LOUDLY and WELDING metal...which smells great by the way....it friggin stunk, made me cough and they got crap everywhere....honestly, the owner couldn't have waited an hour and done this when there were no customers?? read more

One and only time I will use this place. $73 to wash 4 pillows, 1 comforter and sheets. I dropped off my laundry at 3:15 and the attendant said it would be ready the next day. I pointed out the sign says same day service and they are open for another 7 1/2 hours. She said I could come back at 10pm. I asked her to call if they were done earlier. I went in at 9pm to see if they were done. She had them bagged already so I brought my items home. I then realized the pillows were still damp. I brought them back and asked her to dry them again and I'd be back in an hour. When I returned, the bag wasn't sealed like it was before when the items were washed and the pillows were just as damp as I left them. They didn't dry them again. It was bad service and I won't return. read more

Recently moved out of the area to Stamford and could not find a place that could hold a candle to this establishment!! Been using them for years, as a freelance internal auditor in this economy and a bartender I have the most hectic schedule and these women that work there are Phenomenal, not only did I show up after 5 pm but they said i could pick it up at 7:30 THAT SAME NIGHT (mind was blown) they even used sensitive skin products just from picking up on my red chest from cuddling my baby puppy and a simple comment I made about being sensitive and used the most amazing smelling sensitive detergent and dryer sheets that my bed room smells fresh and clean , even now 2 days later!! Try them so worth it, did I mention it's a college town so their pricing is yet another way they spoil there customers. Highly recommend!!!!!!! I always tip the girls when I go, that attention to detail deserves recognition!! read more
