Well, Sock Hop was as safe as could be! We went at 5:00 am to avoid contact and risk, and it was immaculately clean and no one was around. We were able to get in and out quickly, using multiple machines with ease. The fact that all of the machines accepted credit cards was such an asset so we didn't have to handle coins! (They have the huge monster machines for $8, large for $6, and regular for $4, so we were able to have a variety of options.) The cycles were quick, the machines were in great shape, and the whole place was well cared for. I would highly recommend Sock Hop and would definitely go back, especially to use the big machines for bedding!

Showed me where to get a card and put money on it, showed me which machine to use by how much clothes I had. I used the 3 load machine which was 5.25. Detergent is free with your wash (if you happen to not have your own) and so is your drying. The wash takes no more than 25 minutes and the drying is 25 minutes as well. 25 minutes might not feel like enough time to dry clothes but it definitely does, so don't pay for extra dry time unless it's necessary. This is place is bright, clean, and well maintained. I tell everyone that goes to a laundromat to come here. And I will definitely be back for all my laundry needs.
