I had the best myotherapy massage service EVER I few weeks ago I fell down. And no, I wasn't doing handstands or Aerial yoga either. I was just walking in my bedroom. After opening Amazon packages I stepped on a plastic wrapper. It felt like stepping on a banana peel, and I slipped backwards, I tried to stop the fall but over corrected and fell forward, on my way down I tried to catch myself and I grabbed onto my bed and felt my arm stretch super hard and heard/felt a crack. I bought a gift certificate last December (2020) for my boyfriend who lives in San Marcos, TX. It's now June 2021 and I finally convinced him to get a massage. When I went to schedule it for him I discover she's moved to Arizona. Bottom line - Liz Urbizu may be a good massage therapist but she's not honest. I sent an email politely asking what to do about the gift certificate - no response. I posted on her FB page and she said she sent at least 5 emails to people who had gift certificates and if I provided the gift card number she could reimburse my card. That was a lie. I sent her a message asking if she could Venmo me a refund - no response. Now her FB page is private. Sorry - I just really dislike liars and people who don't live up to their responsibilities. I can't be happier about my experience and results from Liz! I booked a 30 minute massage with additional cupping. Upon arrival, I was impressed with the aurora of the studio. It was welcoming, clean and calming. Liz was very professional and informative. I've given Liz 3 shots to make things right. she was late to my first massage, ignored my allergies and gave me hives on my second, and then cancelled my husband's massage as a no show because he was running 13 minutes late. To be fair, she did give me an extra 10 minutes on my first massage to make up for being late, and my husband didn't text as her website states, but we were never told it would be cancelled. she showed no remorse or took any action to make things right. her response to me was basically, "oh well, I have a waiting list so it's ok if I lose you as a client."
