My wife and I recently got married and Rev. Dr. Jeff Saville helped make our day extremely memorable, beautiful, and a true fairytale wedding. From start to finish Reverend Dr. Jeff Saville was there to coach and support us with planning our small ceremony. He is worth every penny spent! Rev. Jeff was flexible with changes, gave us plenty of options for Bible passages to be read, unity ceremony options, what he could wear for his ceremony outfit, reviewed our vows to make sure they would flow before printing them for us, was punctual, professional and funny! Jeff saved the day! Our wedding date was set for April 29th, 2022 and, initially, a family member was our officiant. However, 3 months before our date, she informed us that she was no longer able to do it....we were so stressed out about finding an officiant that quickly. And then my husband found Jeff. We loved that he is a veteran, has a doctorate in theology, is married with children, and a good looking man (great for being in our wedding pictures). Jeff is personable, professional, attentive, detailed, and organized. He first set up a zoom meeting with us so we could make sure we were a good fit and go over what we envisioned for our ceremony. Let me begin by saying Jeff is the absolute best officiant out there and our wedding would have not happened if it was not for him saving us the night before at 1130 PM. See below for our crazy 2020 wedding story. Josh and I met Jeff last winter in preparation for our May 2020 wedding. He was great to work with and super organized for our in person meeting. He made us feel at ease about getting married and including our Christian faith at the center of our wedding ceremony. 2020 happened and we ended up pushing our wedding back until October. We had to cancel our "big" wedding again due to everything. We ended up booking him for our future "big" wedding in 2021 and we booked a small package for a micro wedding in Lake Arrowhead (which came with a different officiant). Three days before the wedding we got a potential exposure scare to COVID. I told my vendors and they canceled the event due to the delay in the test results (including the officiant). Jeff also randomly reached out to us three days before our wedding date. He was checking in on us and told us he was available on our original date if needed. Once we found out the negative results it was 1030 PM the day before the wedding and we had no officiant. We sent Jeff an email and he immediately called us and we planned our entire wedding ceremony that night. The next day we planned our last minute wedding in Lake Arrowhead and it was a little chaotic since we didn't have any of our vendors. Jeff brought his experience and quickly gave directions to everyone about the ceremony and even came prepared with a speaker system so the "zoomland" people could hear everything. We had Jeff conduct pre marital counseling, the rehearsal, and the big day. Step 1: Pre Marital Counseling Jeff made us fell very comfortable during the marital counseling sessions. It was a blessing that we found Jeff because originally we were booked with another minister and he bailed on us just months before the wedding- I was a freaking out! From the get go he made my now wife and I feel super welcomed and comfortable when he invited us over to his house to talk about our wedding and the services he would provide (he even threw in some wedding counseling as well!) He explained very well what our strengths and weaknesses were as a couple and how to improve on things. On the wedding rehearsal, we all know how chaotic things can get but Jeff explained to us very well how things would pan out and made sure every knew where and what to do. This was all made evident on the actual ceremony, where there was no hiccups and everything went smoothly. A big thank you and shout out to Jeff Saville. Jeff loves what he does and he is incredibly gifted in his way with people. We chose him because he made us sure that our wedding ceremony would be 100% 'us' and nothing like a cookie cutter wedding ceremony. Our guest were amused and touched emotionally.
