Last day of Fall 2022 (toddler) Love soccer kids! We have done two different sessions with different coaches and a make up class with another... they are all fabulous! They are so patient with the kids and try their hardest to make sure they learn not only soccer but colors and manners as well. This is a 5-star program. Classes are in many convenient locations, grouped appropriately by close ages (3-4, 4.5-5, etc.), and coaches are great at working with younger kids. The coaches are everything. They don't waste a minute in the class and keep kids engaged and on the field the entire time -- no sitting out and watching while other kids play for 15 minutes. I've tried 4 different locations with different coaches (Bayside/Flushing/Jamaica) and they all upheld similar high standards and quality of coaching. What I didn't realize is that soccerkidsnyc also runs events to enrich kids' experience -- they have meet and greets with pro soccer players, Halloween parties, etc that help grow camaraderie between coaches parents and kids. They communicate well over email and make everything easy -- you're never pressured to do any additional activities outside of the class, but you're always welcome and treated like family. I truly couldn't hope for a better program and am thankful to have found it. The reviews do reflect the quality of the program and I hope it expands to even more locations so everyone can have access to it. I've tried other soccer and sports programs and they fell short because 1) the age group was too wide (eg. 5-9 year olds playing together). 2) the coaches knew how to play the sport but didn't have the skills to successfully interact with younger kids. 3) lack of enthusiasm from coaches You probably won't find a better program in Queens. read more

I cannot tell you how much I love this program. I am not a soccer fan. I don't like sports, in general. But, I wanted my kid (who had some physical developmental delays) to get out there and play, and out of my hair during the winter months. So, fine -- soccer. What I found was incredible. Coach Noe (and all of the other coaches) are not only incredibly energetic, but they are kind, on the level and totally engaging. They are patient, and the games they play are totally appropriate, and I can see how they are actually skill building. But more importantly to me -- the kids are having fun, and are so proud of their new skills. My daughter repeats the "Never give up!" cheer, and it's so heartwarming. Her face when she got her end-of-season medal was just incredible. It hangs on her bed and she shows it to everyone. Also, can I mention again how incredible and tender the coaches are. No one falls behind, and you can tell they are really aware of every kid's differing ability. Zero annoyance with the kids, and that's even from the super young assistant coaches.
