A fantastic camp. Very well organized. Great balance of skills/drills and fun. Coach Nitzan is very friendly and helpful, and he has assembled quite a large group of awesome teen coaches to help with the camp. My kids are 7 and 10, one boy and one girl, and they both absolutely loved it and couldn't wait to go back each day, as well as coming home tired from all the running and exercises. The camp location park is safe and clean and easy to get to from the freeway. I definitely recommend. We were very impressed with this camp. read more

This was my daughters first soccer experience and it was great. She was shy and didn't want to play at first. She was in the 3-4 year old class. Nitzan is a teacher more than that I feel is like a protective father, kind and very affectionate with the children. Its dynamic is that the children have a nice time, learn basic and advanced soccer. Through soccer, he incorporates games, encourages reading to children and makes them feel stronger and learn to deal with their fears and insecurities. My son adores him and worries that when he is big he will do it because he does not want to leave his teachers. We met Coach Nitzan (Coachie) when our daughter started Rosa Parks. After trying out soccer during an after school program we signed up our son for Soccer2gether as well. Both kids have very different personalities and Coachie can handle all types. He will teach skills AND keep it fun. I really like how he runs his classes. The best soccer training EVER for kids! Coach Nitzi is a warm, kind, and fun soccer coach. And so are the other coaches we've had (ie Coach Peyman). They make learning soccer fun, even for kids who are not immediately interested in the sport. The coaches learn and remember all the kids names... so impressive. I am so grateful that a soccer program like this one exists! Coach Nitzi and his helpers are all so warm, fun, creative and supportive. This is the only soccer program where a 10 year old can go play with others for 1 hour a week instead of multiple practices and games...We also recently did the week-long camp, and my child had a blast playing soccer as well as exciting games of dodge ball and capture the flag (with some art time thrown int, too.) Nitzan is like the "Mr. Rogers" of soccer coaches! He provides a safe and positive learning environment for the children he coaches, and addresses the "whole person!" I can't say enough good things about Coach Nitzi and Soccer2gether. It is a place that develops kids' skills but more than that is just an inclusive, supportive, loving environment for all kids. Wow - where do I even begin? Our two boys have been with Nitzan and Soccer2gether since they were 4. He is an incredible person, amazingly positive coach, superior role model, and overall great guy. More importantly, he works magic with little people on the soccer pitch! Michael Jordan said about teaching sports to kids: "Teach the love of the game first, and then you can teach the game." This is exactly Nitzan's approach - he's all about kids having fun, playing soccer, getting touches on the ball, making friends, and building team camaraderie But don't think that they don't learn skills and technique as well! All of Nitzan's "fun" is really cleverly disguised drills and exercises. This means that the little kids that are running around playing "snowball" will be kicking penalty kicks with the best of them when they are 8 and 9. He creates soccer players, one by one, that love the game, love themselves, and love having fun. read more

Our 5-year-old son just completed the fall session of Soccer2Together and we are so thrilled with Coach Nitzi and the soccer program (and our son loved it!). We already signed up for winter. Nitzi is very patient and communicative with the children; lots of positive encouragement, teamwork, and skill-building. Our son runs out on the field at the start of practice and we have seen his confidence go up. He also attended one of the day camps on a school holiday, which was also a wonderful experience. It was a very engaging day and we knew that Nitzi and his team kept the children safe (very organized day). He learned more soccer skills, enjoyed free time activities, and made new friends. My 4 year old girl has done soccer 2gether for 2 seasons now and really loves it. She talks about soccer all week and although she does not always play the whole time we are at the class, she does seem to be learning something about teamwork, body control, and soccer. We are about to try indoor and we will see how that goes. The only negative I'd say is that the classes tend to be large, so if your child gets nervous in a big group, that could be an issue. Coachie learns every kid's name right away and tries to keep them all involved, but there are maybe 12-14 kids to one coach. read more

Our daughter has done numerous weekend classes, summer camps, and one-day camps with Coach Nitzan and his staff, and they have all been outstanding. I feel great about her spending time with them. Soccer2gether is a perfect program to start young kids in! My son is incredibly shy and not into scrimmages, etc at all! He loves going to coach Nitzi's practices every week because he doesn't do any "competition" play. He makes it fun by having the kids run to different cone areas, dribble the ball to pick up jerseys, pick up cones and balls like "ice cream," etc. he also lets parents participate if your child is nervous, and he gives orange slices at the end! My son never would have even attempted soccer at 4 years old if it weren't for coach Nitzi! Highly recommend for all kids! read more

If you want your kid to actually learn and love the game of soccer you need this guy teaching your kid! Most of the soccer programs are just mob ball at younger ages, not soccer2gether. Coach Nitzan focuses on technique and drills and has all of the kids participate equally. He doesn't let one kid take over. And when a kid get out of line, he patiently gets them back on track. I can't say enough good about this guy. My son has been in his classes for over a year. And, he is slow to warm up. Nitzan is engaging without being overwhelming. My son learned the game, and enjoys the classes. I told him I was writing a review and asked him if I should add anything, he said to say "love Valen." Coach runs different times and days based on experience level, not age. And he is constantly emailing you on classes, or changes. I've never had to worry about communication. I'll say it again. If you want your kid to dig the sport this is where you need to be. Thanks for everything coach! read more

My two boys have been attending Soccer2gether summer camp for the past 4 years. Every summer they love camp and beg to return the following year. My now 6 year old son have been in soccer class with Nitzan for the whole past year, and when we were discussing different camps options, the one he was immediately sure he wanted to do was soccer2gether. He loved the school year, and he more than loved the "no camp" camp as Nitzan likes to call it. He came back energized (albeit exhausted!), excited about the new things he learned, and the games he played. Nitzan is an incredible coach. He has the rare capacity to effectively teach technique, develop team-building and having a lot of fun all at the same time. For him, soccer is not about the competition, but about the whole experience. He also meets each kid where they are while caring for the group ~~ he gives more space to the ones who need it (so they can come on board at their own timing) and he challenges those who are up for it according to their own abilities, in a way that calibers skills, drills and timing for the well-being of everybody. And he is there during the whole camp and he makes it fun. But the best perk as a parent is that at the end of every camp day, he sends a full report of goal of the day, activities. highlights and pictures!!!!!! (I forgot to say: I am Argentinian and I care a lot about soccer, and I also used to work with kids, so I know that is not easy to teach soccer (futbol!) as a comprehensive sport (and not only a competition) while at the same time providing a great technical and fun experience. I also forgot to say that when my son was 4, we lived in Rome for a year and he took soccer lessons there, and after a month he refused to go any more. It was too competitive and too serious.) I couldn't recommend Nitzan's classes and "no camp" camp more. So much so that two friends of my son joined soccer2gether, and now they will join next year as well. If your kids are getting started in soccer or they want to further develop their skills and team experience in an organic way, this is definitely your program. read more
