The barista's were all super nice and the coffee was delicious! It is a great place to work from if you don't have many meetings wifi is good towards the front of the shop. They also have pastries and sandwiches so you can eat a quick lunch there as well. read more

I knew the moment I walked in that I was going to like this place. It has a cute quaint cafe feel to it and it's very cozy. The menu was delightful and featured both brunch and lunch options. There was a fresh vegetable tart which changes daily and a variety of pastries as well. I ordered a latte and the avocado toast. Both were delightful and well made. The staff was very friendly as well. Will definitely return as the menu was appealing and I wanted to order more! read more

Social Pantry is a lovely little café conveniently located opposite where I live. They claim to serve the best brunch in London, and it's not too far fetched a statement. I'm always so tempted to stroll in for my breakfast on the weekend. I moved to London recently and wanted to have a house warming without trashing the new place. Social Pantry actually also does catering, and you can hire their café for an evening where you will be served a four course meal and you can bring your own booze for about £30. A great deal! So myself, my boyfriend and our housemates invited a total of 30 of our friends to celebrate at Social Pantry for the evening and we had a great time. We designed our own menu and the food was outright delicious. Everything ran smoothly; the host working there was friendly and polite and kept everything in order. We had the place until from 7 - 11pm and then went on to the bars in Clapham. There is something about this place. It's cute and has character, whatever that is meant to mean, but it does. They have recently started to serve food in the evenings which I'm very excited to try! read more
Nice little cafe on Lavender Hill, unassuming interior concealing a cosy little space inside - perfect for weekend mornings. Their menu is pretty straightforward, cooked breakfasts, avocado toasts...nothing out of the ordinary but that's no bad thing - a good breakfast is a good breakfast regardless, no? The staff are friendly here, and it's the sort of place I could chill out in for a number of hours if I had the time. After some deliberation (avocado toast or cooked breakfast?), I went for a cooked breakfast with poached eggs (including bacon, sausage, chorizo beans, toast, and crispy fried potato) whilst my dining partner had avocado toast with the roasted cherry tomatoes (which look incredible in the photos). The good parts: nice runny poached eggs, and the chorizo beans were wonderful - the latter can be a big underwhelming and bland if underseasoned, but no so much problems here, full of flavour and very moreish. I found the rest of it a bit underwhelming though: I wasn't a fan of the sausage texture which was a little too mushy (perhaps not the best quality); on top of this, the crispy potato was a bit anaemic and not really crispy - they could've done with quite a bit more browning. I didn't try the avocado, but the cherry tomatoes were not as in the pictures here and could've done with quite a bit more time in the oven. The Italian-style coffee was fine - my Americano had a little too much water in it, but the flavour was good enough. I'd be willing to give this place another shot as it has quite a bit of potential - that said, if I'm paying £10.50 for my cooked breakfast, it'd better be *good*, and really I didn't think the quality or quantity was quite up to it. Still, it's nothing that can't be fixed and those beans were excellent. I'd definitely be up for coming again, especially as it's far more relaxed that some of the more heaving brunch places in the area - hopefully the food was a one-day blip and I can provide a positive update in the future. read more

A local spot for breakfast/brunch you should check out. The lattes are perfect. We had the avocado toast for breakfast and the poached egg on top is perfect. If you don't have the time then pick up a pastry. read more

Very cute and and not so loud atmosphere. Good coffee, healthy juices and the best thing on the menu is avocado on a sourdough with poached eggs on top. I eat this every Saturday and Sunday. The place has a lot of potential. read more
