I need help and They're supposed to be able to help me But each time they leave me in a worse position then I was. I was beginning to be optimistic about the way my life was headed. I'm single-handedly. This agency has put an end to that.. Your representatives aren't trained properly.1 says 1 thing and the other says 2 other things. The people in the office. Some are nice.Yes but the rude ones are horrible and mean. Who runs this place and it's agency? You should be ashamed of yourself The people at the front door are horrible. Once the lady was finally done flirting with security she flipped a ticket at me which I had to pick up off the floor, and she literally was giggling. Next time a security guard was making disgusting comments about me as if I wasn't even there to the girl and another officer. Now when I go, I hate it because I know what to expect at that front door. That I individual needs to be moved another location and informed on decency. I mean it sincerely whoever is in charge. And for the mean and rude, people that I've come in.Contact with you should all be ashamed of yourself. When people come to you , they're not coming to you because their life is Going well They're coming to you for some help and You never know what is in somebody's mind Or the pain that person is experiencing. Shameful

The place seems spacious, although the covid think had the waiting area shut down, everyone had to wait outside, they even offer chairs for elderly people and children outside while waiting to fill out forms and drop off, took me at least an hour to fill out the entire packet, only to be told by the county worker that this program required you to be US citizen and it's a loan so you will have to pay it back, how comes no one told us at the beginning, this is weird, but the employee navigated us to another program that we might consider called CAPI, since we're already here, she proceeded to take the other application anyway, hopefully when I decided to apply for CAPI they would called me back to finish up with general relief.

My Personal Experience with Judge Rosy Meyerowitz…read more I appeared before Judge Rosy Meyerowitz in a family-law matter at the East County courthouse. My experience was extremely upsetting and left me with serious concerns about how my case was handled. I felt that the judge relied heavily on her own opinions, impressions, and perceptions rather than approaching my circumstances with the neutrality and understanding I expected in a complicated family-law matter. I was on the stand to start my hearing when my husband's attorney asked Judge Meyerowitz for permission to serve me. She gave permission, and my husband's attorney personally served me in the courtroom. My husband was not present in court that day. I have PTSD, and this was extremely distressing for me. I was also concerned about what I perceived as a lack of experience and perspective in handling the complexity of my circumstances. Judge Meyerowitz was appointed to the Superior Court bench in 2024. I also personally observed what I felt was a very harsh manner toward other people appearing in the courtroom. I believe litigants deserve patience, dignity, courtesy, and consideration. This review reflects my personal experience and concerns. I am pursuing the appropriate legal channels to address them. One positive thing was the bailiff. He is always kind understanding, considerate and I very much appreciate that:)

They directed us to go to Santee and they assured us that Santee would take care of us. We were worried that it was going to be a crowded, busy nightmare, but it was far from it. Very few people were inside (due to covid restrictions) and everything was brand new and clean. Not to mention it was quiet and everyone working there was super nice. Our wedding was taken outdoors and took less than 30 minutes, which is exactly what we wanted. The wedding started off rough but ended on a smooth, happy note. Definitely something I will remember. :)

We got here at 11:30AM, they signed some paperwork, then it was a waiting game with the ceremony starting at around 12:15PM. Thank goodness there's air conditioning inside and plenty of seating. Especially in Santee and this heatwave we are experiencing, the AC was an amazing relief. They also had a water bottle refill station and water fountain. I also realllyyy liked that they had free menstrual products in the bathroom (so awesome!). There was lots of people getting married that day with around 3-4 other couples getting married. We waited for our turn and when the officiant was ready, they called the names of the couple and then we went outside. The ceremony area was shaded and had concrete benches, the only thing is that other women people/families waiting outside had slowly congregated nearby and were a little talkative. The ceremony area is located to the left of the front entrance and provided shade so I understand people want relief from the hot sun, but o feel like there should be a sign or a small fence or something to denote that that's the ceremony area so that people are mindful. ---- Overall: a longer wait time than expected, great free amenities, and affordable things like getting married!

The one we were greeted with was friendly and had a fun sense of humor. Once inside, you check in at a kiosk (side note, if you have an appointment, you check in from your phone when you park). You receive a number and are asked to be seated based on whether you have an appointment or not. There is a bathroom, which was clean. The air in the waiting room was nice (not stuffy or hot). When your number is called, you go to a window to be helped. Please be patient as there are only a few people taking care of many and the time slots are limited. The lady that helped us gave us bad news, yet everything we needed to correct my application and set us up with an appointment to do so.

I haven't had the pleasure of visiting any SSA building before today, but it reminded me of mini DMV, with the lobby of chairs, a kiosk, and monitor screens displaying next in line lottery numbers. Now serving #### at window #. Making the appointment was easy, however a 120+ minute phone hold time needs improvement. I called in to request duplicate paperwork and left the phone on speaker to run errands while waiting in the hold queue. Two...hours...later...a friendly voice greeted me and was very helpful and thorough with answering questions. While setting an SSA appointment the rep discovered an error and determined the root cause. Since their system had my phone and email info, I received reminders and information including an advance check-in weblink for when we arrived. I followed the link instructions and promptly received my ticket number before we got out of the car. There were a couple of people inside the lobby among the rows of seats towards the right when entering. The information TV screens and kiosk were to the left. Office SSA reps worked behind glass and each space provided two chairs with partitions separating customers for semi-privacy. We spent less than 5 minutes in the lobby after checking in online from the parking lot. Our SSA rep was friendly and helpful, answering questions and providing reasonable expectations of next steps after concluding the appointment in roughly 30 minutes to resolve why we needed to stop by in person. If you have an online account. I'd highly recommend taking that route, but if you must go the SSA office, be ready to endure the steps for making an appointment and be prepared with all necessary documents.
