Efficient, friendly, and genuinely wanting to help people get their passports so they can travel. They will want to see evidence that you are indeed travelling withing 2 weeks. Also, complete your forms in advance, and make sure your passport photo is compliant. Lots of people had to have their re-taken on site. My appointment was at 11am. I arrived at 10 and took a number and was seen at 10.30. They check all of your paperwork and then call you back to make sure all details are correct. By 11.30 I was given a receipt and told to come back at 2pm to receive my passport. The passport was ready by 2.50pm (I was asked to sign and date the receipt after checking all details on the new passport) and I was able to drive the 4.5 hours home same day. Very happy! Waiting area is small, with few seats and no amenities (bathrooms are in portacabins outside). I will take efficient service over fancy facilities any day though! Nothing except cell phones and paperwork allowed inside and security is tight. Have your appointment number ready when you buzz the door to get in. There is also a scanner. Be friendly and patient and they will get to you. They really are pulling out all the stops to get you your passport. Great job Arkansas Passport Center Staff!

We winded up a single lane road passing Picnic areas and rest stops before we got to the top. There was a small parking lot with magnificent views. We walked to the gift shop & found the register. We have a parks pass & paid $12 pp to take the elevator to the top of the tower. We took in the view on the top and then went down a floor to see the history of Hot Springs starting in 1875. Photos and artifacts from the old hotels and bath houses were presented with a timeline.

It was too damn hot for 3 out of 4 of us to hike up the mountain, so I drove up. Parking was free, but a bit crowded on July 20, 2025. If you don't find a spot, there is a loop to drive back around. Historical info of the tower is out front. TIP Shout out to Greg J. who on 7.9.2024 pointed out that going back down the mountain on the one-way road, folks will pass the Happy Hollow cold spring fountain. It's a free refill of any jug or bottle!

It was lying on the counter, and I replied, "It's right there", pointing to it. She came back with something smart like "that's what I needed when you wouldn't tell me why you are here". To which I replied, "And yet you never asked for the renewal form". Two thoughts. First, if a customer doesn't give you the information you need then ask another question or clarify their response to get the information you need to do your job. That's what you are getting paid to do. Her lack of effort was less than impressive. Second, my wife didn't have her renewal form, and it wasn't an issue. So I guess she really didn't need the renewal form after all. This person clearly is not suited for customer service, and should not be in that position. If I could give zero stars i would.

Brady was kind enough to research as best he could - said I needed to speak with the postmaster, who was not in at the time. I came back the next day, still no postmaster - he apologized and agreed that a postmaster should have been there and I should get a refund. Back again today - Brady recognized me immediately and said he went over the situation with the postmaster and refunded my $$. Nothing better than good old-fashioned customer service - thank you Brady!! (Still not sure why that envelope said "refused"............)

Superior boathouse from 1829 is now a brewery restaurant. The fourth, is now the National Parks Visitor Center. We walked through the old bath house exhibits. We wandered into dressing rooms, hot tubs, medical rooms, and even a room with very old fitness equipment.
