Some businesses (particularly photographers), will aggressively nickel and dime you to death with upsells and crazy charges. They hold your photos for ransom, even though you paid them handsomely for your event already. Austin City was the exact opposite. The service included more than expected, and there were zero surprise charges. All photos are available online, in dozens of prints at the party, and on a flash drive. It was very refreshing. Their pricing is very competitive, compared to other photo booths we looked into. The photo booth itself is so cute, with a red velvet curtain and a touch screen where you can see yourself as the pictures are being taken. They provided lots of fun props for our guests and the option for guests to print their photos on-site. We chose to have two prints made; one copy for our guests to take home and one for them to leave in our photo album. They even customized the printouts with our names and wedding date. After our wedding, we received a disc with digital copies of all of the photos our guests took. Priceless! I think some of our guests spent the entire reception in the photo booth :P I especially loved dealing with Christian and Amanda since they are a local, family-run business, and they truly care about customer service. I am not sure how she didn't realize that this is clearly not Adrians party and a wedding. Common sense much? Not to mention she arrived late and left early. Either way it should of been a red flag in the very beginning when the communication was just terrible with the company. There was a line for the photobooth the entire night. His booth is super kitschy, yet discreet and inviting - beats the hell out of a big backdrop and lighting display that often comes with a "photo booth" offered by a photographer. And his price is so competitive! The photo strips also provided a incredibly special keepsake for our guests. My husband and I have a CD of all the photo strips and several printed copies that guests left for us, and they're one of our most prized momentos from the day. I would highly recommend working with Matthew for a wedding or any other event, you will not regret it.
