They had so many delicious items on display and we struggled to choose just two! We ended up asking the staff for their recommendation, which they suggested the cardamom bun. It was incredible! I will dream about that dessert. We also took a whipped cream topped pastry to go but I don't know what it was called. Also good, but the cardamom bun was the best. Definitely stop in if you can!

They didn't have chai latte, but they had chai tea (presumably in teabags). It looks as though matcha latte is more common than chai latte in Stockholm. I had a croissant on and a cheese and tomato sandwich. They were both very good. Overall, very smooth and pleasant experience. I saw a few customers with babies and/ or dogs, which should be a good indicator of how comfortable and welcoming this place is.

Sometimes you just need somewhere to catch your breath, catch up, and plan for the rest of the day. Chokladkoppen did that for me. I had the Hot Chocolate and a cinnamon bun, and leisurely sat at my table for at least 30 minutes. There was never pressure to move on, which is so common, at least in the US ("Are you finished working on that? Can I bring you something else? Can I bring you a box?). The hot chocolate was dark, very much tasted like quality chocolate, and like a warm massage. I also ate one of their cinnamon buns, which are very popular in Stockholm. It also hit the spot. The cost of the hot chocolate was $6 USD and the cinnamon bun was a few cents less. The view from the table and people watching alone was worth the total $12 cost, but so was the hot chocolate and cinnamon bun.

Believe it or not, I spotted the cafe from the airport bus as I was driving through Stockhom on my way to central station upon my initial arrival to the city. I was stoked when I realized it was literally down the block from my AirBnb apartment. Although my travel buddy often wanted to meet up for breakfast, I made up many excuses everyday so that I could have some alone time at this cafe every morning before we met up. Additional perks that I have yet to mention: interesting people watching, adjacent to shopping @ Acne Archive [like omg, v exciting], free wifi, accessible outlets.

I had for my carry home luggage, a saffron and a ginger loaf, they make these spiced cake taste so good and so unusual, that I cannot imagine you can duplicate it elsewhere. In my travels, I've always been impressed with French bakeries in Southern France and Burgundy, and that's because I think they are better than the Parisian ones. To me though, Fabrique has something else that you don't see, the friendliness and intimacy of a local bakery. The exposed fixtures adds factory like atmosphere and it contrasted well with the soft decor throughout the bakery. I recommend stopping by here after a long day of shopping and grab some hot drinks and a slice of cake. Will return.
