Veggie sandwich and local apple juice
    Abigail S.

If you happen to pass by here at lunch, they have great sandwiches, including vegetarian options. There are many other bakeries and lunch spots in this busy neighborhood, but I'm glad that my failing glycemic levels forced me into Fabrique. Even though their sandwiches are pre-made, they are fresh and delicious. Their bread is firm and chewy and clearly expertly baked. Sometimes vegetarian options can seem like an afterthought, but on the day that I was there, they offered a really satisfying veggie sandwich with a delicious creamy red pepper spread. I paired this with a locally-pressed bottle of apple juice, which was slightly tart, more like a cider, and totally refreshing. It's hard not to leave without sampling their baked goods, which tempt you from their glass displays. I went for the kannelbulle, which I could never tire of, with its cardamom and cinnamon pop of flavor, and a wedge of shortbread, which was delightful. The future must be here, because this place ONLY takes credit cards (no cash).

More than 1 location in Stockholm. Don't know about the others, but this one is great! Nice selection of pastries, coffee, and sandwiches. Friendly staff! 4 stars because of the limited seating, tight space, and no wifi.

Came here for a quick breakfast which included a pudding, a cardamom bun and a coffee. All delicious, but the server was not the friendliest / still asleep for some reason.

Enviable Swedish style in addition to the tasty treats

Kickass little spot! Tasty pastries, coffee, and yogurt. The woman behind the counter was very friendly and gave us great tips for our trip. There are several of these around town also. Yum!!

Meh. My sandwich didn't taste fresh. The bread was cold and hard, and the meat was weird tasting. Would not recommend.

Apparently one of at least ten such Konditori in the City, several standalone locations garnering mixed opinions from locals as well as tourists, it was oddly with the clerk absent on arrival that items were perused, a few small Fruit Flies buzzing around racks held in open air expected given the location but still not ideal. Eventually allowed to place an order, a pleasant young clerk presumably returning from the restroom, it was with no nearby seating that items were taken upstairs, the continued lack of chairs or tables forcing one to order Coffee at Espresso House where two guests immediately tucked into a Cardamom Bun that had a good rise but very little flavor followed by a Chokladboll featuring more Oats than most which on one hand kept sweetness in check but on the other made the texture a bit too grainy. Moving next to the day's second Notknappare, Magnus Johansson's version from earlier setting a very high standard that Thelins could not match thanks to less Nuts and Caramel, it was surprisingly Thelins' Cake slices that showed best, the Carrot a touch dry but buoyed by thick and tangy Frosting while the Marzipan-wrapped Princess offered pleasant juxtaposition of buttery Sponge Cake with Custard and Pastry Cream.

The pain au chocolat was also excellent: crisp layers with just the right amount of dark chocolate. Coffee was smooth and rich, and refills on brewed coffee are free. The café has a relaxed vibe, and even though it was busy, the service was quick and friendly. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for the quality. Recommend if you're looking for a great coffee and pastry spot, convenient to city center. Outdoor seating if you're lucky enough to land a spot. If not, there's a nice park across the way, if you order take away.

Although the passageway where the interior seating is situated seemed awkward it actually worked out well. Service, despite a crowd, was fairly quick, I would rate the coffee an A or 9/10 on the scale of strength, low acidity/smoothness. It is espresso based and made to exact order. There are serval options for milk (whole, oat, 1/2 and 1/2, etc). The major complaint would be that there is no easy place to throw away your rubbish, nor is there a place that is clearly evident to bust your dishes, which is much needed given that this is a super busy place.. The staff is too busy to bus tables regularly, which backs up the availability of seating . This is the major reason for a one star deduction.. TIP: You can buy beans or ground coffee for home brewing.
