This is a positive shout out to SOCO Solar and specifically Brenon Sanders. Although I ended up not purchase a solar system from SOCO, I definitely will recommend this company to any friends or family that might be considering installing a solar (on-grid, off-grid or hybrid) system. Brenon was on time to his appointment with me wearing a SOCO shirt. I'm a senior and need to immediately recognize who is at my front door. Brenon was an excellent listener as I explained what I would be looking for in a system. He answered all my questions and was very helpful explaining what type of systems I could use for my home. He also did an excellent job of explaining how Federal and State Solar Tax Credits work and the various scenarios of using those credits should I purchase a system through SOCO. Horrible Horrible decision to use Soco and solar in general they lied about everything and lied and manipulated my loan application. Never have tried to fix anything and I was always given the run around paying more for solar than electric over $500 a month. I reached out to this company multiple times and was always given the run around. I asked for itemized statement I was told they couldn't give me any info. A person came my door and ask if I was interested in Solar and if I would like to have someone come by to talk to me about it and I said yes sure . Later a man named Jackson a salesman came by and I was interested and said I would get the panels and change my furnace and water heater to electric also . He gave me a bid to do all the work the payment would be 105 a month he said. Then he sent me the contract and on top it said 105 monthly but when you read the contract the actual cost was 151 a month for the first year there would be no payment because you have to still pay the electric company while the panels built up credits enough in the summer months. I told him this is not what you originally told me but he said I was wrong I knew I was not wrong he lied to me. Then I ask if he could tell me of another job they had completed and he said up the road on Largo lane so I go there and it is a lady I knew and she told me soco did not install the panels another company did it . I called Jackson and told him to forget the whole deal and if he came around again I would call the police . read more

We were worried that we were gonna get taken advantage of working with a solar company, our representative was super upfront and honest, said it would take about two months to do the install and they were able to start our install actually four weeks from then And in two days they finished our install.
