Great clinic, dentist, and staff. Too bad the dentist retired and the clinic closed. They provided the best care.

Oral health is so very important. I've been going to First Choice Community Dental for about the…read morelast 4 years. I served 4 years in the United States Air Force, and the care that I receive at this clinic reminds me of the care that I got while in the USAF. There a few differences in the way they handle business from a normal private practice. One, they mail you a postcard when it's time for a visit. I have found once you call to make an appointment, it's almost 3 months out for booking. That's my only negative about this place. Two, you have 3 appointments per year. One appointment is for an examination where you see the doctor and get X-rays, and the other two are cleaning visits with the hygienist. They have a smooth, efficient process. Angela has been my hygienist the last few times. She is gentle and thorough with her cleanings. She even offers helpful tips for better oral health. Dr. Jackson is fantastic, too. They record and take very good care of my oral health.

Tech told me it takes a day or two. Well I called on day two (Friday) and no results. (At urgent care it takes less than an hour). The MA told me they would mail me the results and to go to urgent care or the ER. WTF? Are they going to wait until I die to let me know I have a UTI? Currently 4 doctors and they are understaffed. Soon to be two doctors. My advice: RUN! Find anywhere else you can. These people care not about your health.

Once a Great Dental Clinic, Now Deeply Disappointing…read more My family has been patients at Family Dental for just over a year. Early on, they earned our trust--they offered appointments that worked for two working parents of three children, and even coordinated back-to-back bookings. The office felt genuinely family-friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, starting early this year, things took a troubling turn. During a February checkup, two of my children were told they needed multiple procedures: fillings, extractions, and even a crown. I requested to book those immediately but was told they needed to confirm insurance first. I waited over 20 minutes at the desk only to be told they'd call me later with a quote. That call never came. When I followed up, I encountered concerning service. The representative--who I believe is the office manager--was dismissive and twice placed the phone down instead of properly placing me on hold, letting me overhear unrelated conversations with other staff. She repeatedly asked if I was "okay" with the cost, despite me clearly stating it wasn't a problem. Her tone and insistence left me feeling judged, as though I couldn't afford the treatment or didn't understand her explanation. At our next visit, we arrived early for our 1:00 pm appointment and waited nearly five minutes before anyone acknowledged us, despite five staff members being present--including the office manager. When I asked about reimbursement if services weren't received, the response insinuated that I didn't want to pay rather than simply providing clarity. My 8-year-old was especially nervous, and while one kind dental assistant allowed me to accompany her briefly to offer comfort, I was shocked by what my daughter shared afterward. She said the dentist told her the assistant couldn't stay because she had "wasted her time." That's not how you speak to a scared child. To make matters worse, I was nearly charged for an extraction that wasn't performed--only numbing was done. When I tried to clarify at checkout, the office manager repeatedly interrupted me and made it clear she didn't want a conversation. She finally said she'd check with someone "higher up," but I could hear her loud phone conversation where she misrepresented me as refusing to pay for services my child "received." That, on top of everything else--including my daughter saying the dentist was "mean"--solidified our decision: this most recent visit was our last. I understand staffing issues happen, but that doesn't excuse lack of empathy, poor communication, and dismissive treatment. A pediatric-friendly clinic should prioritize kindness and clarity, not frustration and judgment.

He was rude and condescending throughout my visit. I don't trust him or anything that he told me. When I asked the woman who brought me back if he was usually so rude to patients and if he failed to greet all of his patients, her response was, "he has other patients to get to." As though that's an acceptable response. He is a nasty set of work. If you hate patients so much - get another job. Any professional that is too busy to greet patients with a simple hello, you know, treating people like they're human, doesn't need to be in business. When I went up to the front they asked if I would like to start scheduling my cleanings there. HELL NO. As a matter of fact, I will never be back again and I'll tell everybody not go to this establishment. I couldn't imagine him working with children. This evil, little man should go out of business. DO NOT GO HERE.
