What I like most is that she will take the time to answer every question and help you find answers that work for you. Dr. Barlow has been my doctor for quite some time. I think I was one of her first patients. If you can't see Dr B then Elizabeth Rudolphi is an excellent NP. I highly recommend Dr. Barlow.

She spends the time needed to hear the problems and to explain the issues, engaged with all the myriad data points every time I have an exam (imagine doing that for every patient; I know that she does because I'm acquainted with a few others of her patients and we all marvel about this) and yet at the same time she always brings a positive/encouraging friendly/kind/caring demeanor that is attentive to the smallest issues and patiently gracious even with the eccentricities of difficult patients (ask how I know). Her staff is professional and kind in person, and you'll generally get a same-day reply from Dr. Barlow or her staff (never later than the next day!) when you send an inquiry through the MyChart system. Dr. Barlow not only gives good, targeted referrals for specialist care, she follows up to make sure that care was provided to her standards. Dr. Barlow comes across as a wonderful caring friend - my wife and I think it's almost a miracle that we'd be blessed to know a physician who's both so razor-edge sharp and yet such a lovely person.

Attention Caroline Kingston, Carlos Trucco…read more I recently received a highly inappropriate letter from Mr. Trucco to which I am responding and notifying my legal counsel. I had an appointment on April 11 with Ryan Brison to review labs. An abnormality was detected in the urinalysis for which Ryan wrote a script for an antibiotic to be picked up at my local pharmacy in Taos. He also had me provide another sample, which I did. Not receiving any results or a call , I called and was told by the receptionist that the "manager" would review the results and have Ryan call me. No call . I called once again , and spoke to Trucco, who was quite unhelpful and in fact was "rude" himself. He denied that there was a second sample taken. His listening skills are far from a professional standard needed in a medical practice. I received a letter from him today, claiming that I was "again" rude and threaten to terminate me from the practice. There was no previous interaction. Rather then offering an apology, i was presented with denial and offered to return to Sante Fe for another sample. He never even considered suggesting that a referral could be made to Holy Cross hospital and easily obtained by your practice. I highly resent his unprofessional conduct, while also noticing no CC. to the DR. Kingston. I would recommend a disciplinary action. I wish to make it clear that this is not directed to Ryan, just Mr. Trucco's conduct

I see nurse practitioners and don't get to see the same one twice, but I like coming here because they have much shorter wait times to get an appointment than any other practice I have sought care at. How can they be so busy that when I go there is no one in the waiting room. COVID they said. Ha ha that was 2 years ago. I complained and was given two cleanings two months apart. Oh we can't get you in because we are still so backed up. Two months I asked ? Yes that works out two your two times a year. Bring back Dr Harrington. He was awesome. Dr Currie thinks he is gods gift. Gives me the creeps. Plus his receptionist only likes men.

Oh boy, where to begin. Around September 2022 I called to set up appointments for myself and…read morehusband. Our appointments were set for sometime around April 2023. When our appointments came no reminder call was given (this will be important later in my story). That caused my husband to miss his appointment and just stick with the dentist he found while waiting to be seen here. I went to my first appointment and it was a routine clean and xrays. A few weeks later I received a bill in the mail for $125 for panoramic xrays that they did not do. Would I have seen anything had insurance covered the charge?! They apologized and cleared up the mistake. Then when time came for my second visit they were still unable to accommodate a every six month clean. My second visit racked up a $22.47 copay. Every dentist I've had for the past decade let's me pay my copay at my next visit. Not this dentist. I received multiple letters, calls and texts. Remember they can't be bothered to send appointment reminders! So one text message in-between all these balance reminders was to switch my July 3rd appointment to July 2nd. So I responded to that text saying that would be fine and I'll pay my balance then. That was not acceptable. They were happy to remind me that I needed to pay that $22.47 in 15 days. Was the appointment swap some passive-aggressive move to get me to respond? Between being billed incorrectly, inability to keep 6 month appointments and billing tactics I've decided it's best to find another dentist. I did like my hygienist. She was nice. Didn't really spend any time with the dentist besides a quick hello at the end of the visits.
