I've liked Soda Vine the few times I've been there, but their customer service needs work. Tonight when we stopped by the drive-through, they handed us our drinks (normal, flavored sodas) with one of the lids only partly on. Of course it spilled all over the seat of our new car. The guy working the window only went "oh... sorry" and handed us a few napkins way too late. After we left, the drinks kept fuzzing over and over, nearly bursting the lids off, and continued to spill all over us and our seats (not the business's fault, I know). When I got home I called Soda Vine to inform them of what happened to 1) find out what kind of soda the base of the drinks were to figure out how to clean our car, 2) suggest they make sure lids are on all the way before handing them to customers, and 3) suggest a sign or something be made to let customers know of potential spilling and fizzing on the way home. The girl politely apologized and offered us new drinks. She said I would need to speak to the manager. I said sure, it was better than nothing, and as she handed the phone over, I heard her tell the manager her offer. When the manager got on the line she asked how she could help me. I explained everything once again and she said if we were in the parking lot she could bring out napkins. I explained we were home and she said "oh. Okay. Anything else I can do for you?" No mention of the replacement drinks that she obviously was aware of. I suggested she make sure her employees not offer something she was not willing to fulfill. The dining room is nicely decorated, the staff is friendly, and the restroom is clean. The sodas are good for the first few sips, but then lose their flavor. The price is quite reasonable though. read more

First time here. Went here with my kids. Fun clean environment. Decked out to look like a 50's Diner. Two of my daughters ordered cookie dough shakes, one ordered an Oreo shake, and I ordered a huckleberry shake. The cookie shakes were all great. My Huckleberry shake tasted and looked more like strawberry. Pink, not purple. I asked right away if they accidentally gave me strawberry, since I've had plenty of Huckleberry shakes and never seen one that was pink like that. They assured me that it was not strawberry and that it was all huckleberry. I kept finding chunks of strawberry as I was eating it. Finally I went up and showed the employees the chunks of strawberry and that's when they told me they actually make it a mixed berry shake with shots of Huckleberry mixed in. They offered to put more huckleberries in, but by that time most of the shake was gone. Just wondering why they don't just call it a mixed berry shake instead of advertising it as a huckleberry Shake. Just felt a little deceived. Not the end of the world, we're talking about milkshakes here. Will try the custard and ice next time and see if we have better luck with that. read more

Great little speciality soda and shake shop. Just a fun little place that was great with kids. We really enjoyed it and loved the variety.

HOLY COW, when are you guys ever going to do something about the drive thru? Some of us don't want to have to wade through the sea of immature/noisy college students. There have been times where I've waited and have seen numerous cars in the suicide lane waiting to get in, and eventually drive across the street to Great Scott's. The drinks are VERY comparable and I don't have to wait ages? And good luck even getting your car through the drive thru in the winter. The drive thru is on the north side of the building and I don't think they've ever plowed it. Maybe it's because of the terrible pot holes. I have a Subaru Tribeca and have almost slid into the side of the building in the winter because it's so icy. The drinks are good, but have fun waiting for cars doing multiple orders when they take the order and the payment from the same ONE WINDOW!
