It would also be nice if you could buy cookies individually instead of buying a box of four each time. But really, it's hard to complain since they're so good! The inside of the cookie is too gooey for my liking. It's way underdone.. Overall the cookie is ok... & I hate that you have to spend a minimum of $10. No matter what.. it's a minimum of $10.I think my biggest thing is on their website they said that they deliver until 11, but then I got a call at 10:53 after I booked my order a little earlier that they don't deliver after 10:30. They then tried to accommodate me by saying they could write me a check to refund me or deliver tomorrow. I don't get why a check is a offer, why not have a system that allows a refund directly back to my account? A check means I have to go to cookie place & then go to my bank which isn't even here in Rexburg to deposit it. I think my frustration really comes from their misleading times on their website. If you say you deliver until 11pm, then you should fulfill your end & deliver until 11pm. I couldn't stop thinking about them after moving away. It's a miracle, they ship cookies to you. I got them delivered to me in FLORIDA and they still taste amazing! While shopping on Black Friday, I had a huge craving for something sweet. Limited with what was open at the time, I was so grateful that a random conversation with someone at a nearby shop led me to (cue in the singing cookie angels) The Cookie Place. Upon arriving to this strip mall, the store looked bright, clean and inviting. Upon entering, it immediately reminding me of another gourmet cookie store in Florida. I had to wait a bit but it was obvious the gentleman working at the counter takes good care of his customers. Whatever you do, pay the 10.00 dollars and get the cookies. I shared one cookie and was extremely satisfied and full. I seriously doubt you will eat all four in one sitting. They are super thick and huge. Chewy and beyond yummy. You have a selection of either chocolate chip or chocolate peanut butter chip. The four cookie box can also be a mix of the two. Take them home and when you are ready to relive that warm cookie experience again, stick it in the oven for a bit and enjoy it once again. I did, three more times. I found the wait reasonable and really, the cookies were worth every penny. I have a feeling that every visit to Rexburg will now require a stop at this fabulous spot! I think this is the dumbest place ever. I have no idea how it's still in business. The cookies are almost never warm because they just sit on open-air racks for a while. So, the cookie place is super good, especially for someone who gets full pretty quickly. Let me tell you why. One box amounts to four 1 1/2lbs(each), at $10. I cant eat all four in a day, let alone one without feeling super full. I normally put the extras in the fridge and then span it or through my week. So the $10 aren't a big deal to me, since I didn't finish all four in 1 day. They've got Chocolate Chip and their recent, Peanut Butter choice. Both are good. You'll never know til you try! Great Cookies, Distasteful Service. I've had two experiences with The Cookie Place. The first time, an older woman who works there (manages, owns?) delivered a box of cookies to my friends apartment. She looked into the living room and sarcastically said "Wow, everyone's texting, that's nice." There were probably 2 out of 7 of us that even had our phones out... She's just never been very friendly from what I hear. The second experience with the place was more recently. My wife and I went out for a late night snack. We stopped by, found that we had to buy an entire box of cookies at $10 if we wanted to purchase any cookies at all. Well my annoyance starts with the fact that my wife went in to grab two cookies, but when she asked for two and after the guy put them in the box they stated that you have to get a minimum of four cookies or they will not sell you any at all. Passing through Rexburg, stopped to grab a quick lunch at Little Ceasers. We saw The Cookie Place and stopped in to see what they had. Their cookies looked good and we were a bit surprised at the cost of $10 for four cookies. However, after eating one of the chocolate chip cookies, I would pay twice that. They were big and thick but not doughy inside. Cooked to perfection and they lasted a couple days while we were traveling.
