There are large fabric curtains you would expect for privacy in a clinic (but few have!). There is plenty of sunlight with windows in all the rooms, in the second floor clinic. New England Square Community Acupuncture is first clinic I have recommended for differently abled or elders with poor mobility. The parking is plentiful just avoid the construction in the parking lot. The providers are just as skilled as downtown clinics and they use proper needle technique sanitation practices with need insertion and removal. It is worth the drive from Boston or Beverly and does not disappoint. They have a plan of treatment and recommend 2x weekly for 3-6 weeks depending on the condition. It is fairly busy clinic, appointments are best made a few weeks in advance. They are a cash or check only clinic, using a sliding scale from $30-50 based on income (per the community model through POCA model (see pocacoop.com to join or support the parent organization). There is always a separate receptionist and they are well run office with great phone coverage and communication.

I originally went to see Marisa for extreme anxiety and ongoing sleep issues, after trying what felt like every modality out there: somatic exercises, journaling, therapy, BIT, meditation, breath-work...you name it. While many of those helped in their own ways, nothing truly moved the needle for me the way hypnoacupuncture with Marisa has. From my very first session, there was an obvious shift.
