He came out of this experience like a brand-new little boy. My son has special needs and significant sensory processing difficulties, so dental care can be extremely overwhelming for him. From our very first visit, KidZdent showed us a level of patience, compassion, and understanding that I will never forget. Our initial assessment was with Dr. Vrinda Tarneja, and she was absolutely exceptional. My son was extremely upset and overwhelmed, but she remained so calm, soft-spoken, gentle, and patient with him. She never became frustrated or rushed him. She worked at his pace and treated him with such dignity and kindness. At the same time, she understood how nervous his dad and I were. She explained what she was doing every step of the way, helped calm us as parents, and carefully explained what needed to happen next. Within only a few weeks of that initial assessment, my son was scheduled for the dental treatment he needed under anesthesia. I honestly could not believe how quickly everything came together. On surgery day, we met Dr. Ilona Aleksandrovich, who was just as wonderful. She was incredibly kind and reassuring and took the time to explain everything in detail before the procedure and again afterward. Knowing that my son was being cared for by someone so patient and compassionate gave us tremendous comfort during an incredibly emotional day. And it wasn't only the doctors. The entire KidZdent team was phenomenal. Every person we encountered treated our family with kindness. I cried my eyes out because I was so nervous for my son, and instead of treating me like just another worried parent in a waiting room, members of the staff continually checked on us, comforted us, and even hugged me. That human connection meant more than they probably realize. As the mother of a child with special needs, I cannot adequately explain what it means to find medical and dental professionals who truly see your child; who understand that patience, gentleness, trust, and compassion are just as important as the treatment itself. And then to see my son afterward doing so incredibly well...it has been emotional in an entirely different way. I am still shocked by the transformation. He seems like a brand-new little boy, and I am beyond grateful that KidZdent was able to help him. KidZdent has truly been a Godsend to our family. Dr. Tarneja, Dr. Aleksandrovich, and the entire team are angels on earth in my eyes. Thank you for taking care of our son, for taking care of us as his parents, and for making something that we were absolutely terrified of into an experience filled with compassion, reassurance, and love. Unprofessional, rude, and a complete waste of my time…read more Dr. Amer was incredibly disrespectful. I asked about using laughing gas for my wisdom teeth removal because I don't like needles and was anxious, and instead of acting like a professional, he called me a child. Completely unacceptable. To make it worse, he refused to have this conversation over the phone, forced me to skip work and come into the office, and then turned me away anyway. Zero empathy, zero professionalism, and no respect for my time. If you have any anxiety at all or expect basic human decency from a doctor, go somewhere else.
