A big comfortable king sized bed, fridge, and TV with many Spanish and English channels, including CNN International and BBC World News. There's a good sized marble bathroom with a double sink, and a patio with table and chairs. The building colors here, white and peach, are very fresh looking. The pool and whirlpool also look and feel amazing. The location is right behind the local beach, where you can buy food and drinks, and easily head back to the hotel to eat or change. It's also located on the Gold Mile were there are many bars, restaurants, and shops just a few steps away. You can also use all the features of the Mediterranean Palace next door which has more families, loud party music, and young adults. If you prefer a quieter, couple-friendly resort, this place will be more suited to you. They have a Spa in the Cleopatra. We used the salt water pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, and even had a couples massage. So relaxing! Further, the buffet breakfast here (included without extra charge) is outstanding. Omelette station, custom sliced cold cuts, breads, pastries, fruits, Lindt chocolates, self-serve Cava, and much more. We had a late flight out to Poland on our checkout day and Eva and Julia happily extended our checkout time to accommodate. What a great week here, it's a highly recommended resort!

Downstairs there is very large well lit lounge area with table service. The music is good and it was fantastic to see people dancing (properly) jiving (properly) and generally enjoying themselves. On occasion the entertainment wasn't for myself and my wife, so we just popped out for the evening after dinner. The buffet was great, service was excellent. We had no problems going down a bit earlier to avoid the rush. Drinks were priced reasonably for a 4 star hotel. Accommodation was good, quiet and kept very clean through out our stay. I would recommend this hotel if you would like peace and quiet, a good book, a snooze by the pool after breakfast and excellent food, however I think I'll wait another 40 years before I return.

The restaurant is first class and the terrace a wonderful place to dine as the sun goes down and the lights twinkle over my beautiful second home that is Los Cristianos. Honestly, the little cheap cafés and tapas bars scattered around Tenerife are a better bet. The hotel clientele does seem to skew towards much older people and families. If you are looking for a younger and more fun/party vibe, this isn't the hotel for you. We saw maybe 2-3 other people our age (mid-late twenties), and there wasn't much to do other than lounge by the pool and stare at the admittedly stunning view. Definitely leave the resort during the day and visit Tenerife. Spa Vitanova was a highlight- definitely, definitely use it. The servers at the pool bar were rockstars and will deliver drinks to you while you're in the jacuzzi (have I mentioned the amazing service already?) WiFi is free but spotty. Not a good place for younger travelers. But I felt like Tenerife it itself was a little older…read moreanyway. This hotel is 99.9% old people and I didn't feel comfortable. My group of 4 stuck out like a sore thumb and though it's not the hotels fault, I want to deter people who are in their mid 20s- early 30s from visiting this hotel. The older folks broke their neck staring at us eat breakfast and they also hog all the lounge chairs by the pool around breakfast time by putting their towels down. Pretty efficient for judge mental old crunchy bones. The staff here is above and beyond. They are so welcoming and that's the best thing about this place. The rooms are ok sized, but my brother in law received a complete welcome tray of desserts and chocolate in his room while we received two cookies in a bag. A hotel should be consistent with these things! The AC is the major killer though. It's so hot in Tenerife and the ac barely works in the room. It's always hot and stuffy and just for that I will not be back.
