I love this studio! I began going to Sol because it was donation based and money had prevented me from joining other (even reasonably priced!) places. My first class here with Karen was excellent and I've been coming back ever since. I love that they do everything from Gentle Yoga to more advanced Ashtanga Flow classes. I've always had great experiences with the other students at this studio. You're never made to feel out of place or not good enough, things that stop a lot of people from even trying yoga! Overall this is a great studio and I'm thrilled to have an awesome place where I can practice with great instructors, even when money is tight. read more

Sol Yoga is a great place for beginners and an AWESOME place to deepen your existing practice. It's fun to explore all of the different styles of yoga they offer- Ashtanga, Real Evolution, even some Iyengar-type workshops sometimes! The community there is incredibly welcoming and the whole studio seems to be built around supporting you as a yogi. There are mats, props, and blankets you can borrow for class for free. Be sure to chat with the teachers! I've regretted NOT going to yoga over and over again, but I've never ever regretted showing up at Sol. My favorite spot in Rapid City. read more

This place is amazing! My wife and our little one attend class about three times a week. It's like stepping into a yoga studio in Boulder, CO, but even better because it's affordable and not pretentious at all. Talk about getting back to the roots of what yoga is really about. Sol Yoga is a breath of fresh air. The teachers are amazing and so welcoming. Financially, it's a blessing to be able to attend classes on a donation basis. Fees and memberships at other studios are what prevented me from joining because income varies throughout the year. The space to practice is gorgeous and open. Sol Collective is ahhmaazzing! My daughter and I go to Parent And Me Yoga and Karen is so patient, great with the kiddos, but most importantly she makes the parents feel relaxed. She takes the time to ensure we are getting a good work out and the children have fun. That class is also priced off of donations, which is awesome. read more
