Me and my sons moved here two months ago and so far we have had great experiences specially when it comes down to any service needed for our apartment, Khalida is super efficient and helps us get any issue resolved with a pleasant sense of urgency, she's super friendly and polite. My move-in experience at Sola Apartments has been wonderful! From the very beginning, Khalida, the leasing consultant, made the entire process smooth and stress-free. She gave us a great tour, answered all of our questions, and helped us get moved in quickly. She was professional, friendly, and truly made us feel welcome. Since moving in, I've enjoyed using the gym and the pool area, and both have been clean and well maintained. I've also noticed the maintenance team regularly around the property keeping everything clean and in great condition, which shows they really care about the community. The property manager Kim Edwards is the laziest manager I've ever dealt with. She doesn't care about the tenants or the property. I've asked several times for basic cleaning and power washing, especially considering rent starts around $2,500 for a one-bedroom, and all I ever get are excuses. I'm not sure who Kim is friends with in that corporate office but she should have been fired so many moons ago but whoever her friend is oh they're saving her because there's no way Kim is the face of the property and she is not worthy of the role that she's in she needs to be fired. but I'm pretty sure it's that one lady that came to the property. Her and Kim looked real buddy buddy with and she dropped her cat off in the office and had the leasing agent to babysit her cat while she was on the clock, while her, Kim and Kim's kids went to run errands. Packages constantly get stolen, and even when Kim reviews the cameras, she doesn't do anything about it. There are police and SWAT raids almost every month, and even though they've moved police officers into the complex, burglaries and thefts still happen. It's unsafe and stressful living here. The hallways, pool, and gym stay dirty or broken, and nothing ever gets repaired on time. The only person who actually cares about residents is Stacia Baker, the assistant manager -- she's reliable, responsive, and makes sure things get done. When she was on medical leave, everything fell apart. The new maintenance supervisor, Abel, is terrible. He takes forever to fix anything and has been caught selling tenants' furniture and belongings from empty units and put on OfferUp and Facebook Marketplace. I personally saw him selling my friend's chairs that were supposed to be picked up. Completely unprofessional. and I personally went out there and asked the person that was buying it. How did he purchase those chairs and he told me he purchased them from Facebook marketplace. If you're thinking about moving into Jefferson Sola Apartments, don't do it. It looks nice on the tour, but once you move in, you'll regret it. High rent, constant issues, police presence, and management that doesn't care. The only saving grace is Stacia and Christy, who actually get things done but without them, this place would be a total disaster. read more

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Neglectful management, constant noise, dirty place and stolen mail. I've lived here for 1 year and 10 months and this place is a nightmare. It was not like this my first year which is why we stayed. Management is completely unresponsive and the building is unsafe, unsanitary, and disrespectful of residents' basic needs. - The trash area is consistently filthy -- overflowing bags and nobody cleans it. It's gross and smells awful. - The building reeks of marijuana constantly. the smell seeps into our unit and management does nothing about it. - Being on a busy street means traffic noise day and night. Expect little to no quiet, windows open or closed. - A factory across the street causes loud vibrations that physically shake the apartment at times. It's jarring and disruptive to daily life. - My mail/packages have gone missing. It's already been 3. Management never follows up and gives zero accountability. - When you email or call to report these things, you get nothing - no response, no plan, no timeline. Staff is useless and apathetic. I've kept records and called and emailed management multiple times with no reply. This is not a few inconveniences, it's ongoing neglect. If you value clean common areas, your possessions, ability to sleep, and a responsive landlord, do not move here. During my walkthrough of the apartment, I was informed that there are cameras in the mailroom after I noticed packages strewn across the room. I was also told that they have access to see everyone who unlocks the door to retrieve their packages. I initially thought this mailroom was safe, but my experience has proven otherwise. There have been many stolen packages, and I used to assume it was an issue with Amazon not delivering properly. However, after receiving photos of where my package was left, I realized there was a problem. One hour after receiving a photo showing my package in the mailroom, I went to retrieve it, only to find it was missing. When I approached management, they said they would review the camera footage. A week later, I followed up, and they informed me they hadn't seen anything. Additionally, after a recent inspection where management took photos of every room and ran water extensively to check the meter, I received a message weeks later stating that the unit inspection wasn't saved and they needed to do it again the following day. When I called, they explained that the photos had been uploaded under the wrong unit number, so they had to redo the inspection and gave me a 24-hour notice of intent to enter. read more

Horrible place to live at. I was here for 2 years. Let's start with management, whoever was there before kim was decent but once Kim came in it just all went down the hill. Doesn't ever respond to emails, you literally have to go up to the office or keep calling for anything. The only decent person there is Staycia I guess. The first year was decent until someone's boyfriend came and tried to put her apartment on fire. They still allowed her to stay there. Just plain ghetto! Save your money or pay a little more and go to the bellflower Edgewood apartments. First off maybe if they revamped their whole management maybe it would be a little better. Management is horrible and lazy! Just like the previous reviews. There's no communication just plain lazy, that's probably where all the issues start. They'll do their job when they feel like it, if they don't like something they start giving you attitude. They don't do anything about anything. The parking is so unorganized there's a waitlist supposedly but management gets to have multiple parking. Doesn't make any sense to me. The apartments are not kept clean, they are dirty. The trash is forever overflowing! Oh yea do not go to the first floor by the dog park. It will forever smell bad and you will have a ton of flies no matter how clean you are. People are dirty they leave there dog poop and it won't be picked up until like a week later! I felt like I waisted my money living there! I should've left after the first year! They will find anything to keep your deposit so just assume you wont ever get your deposit back! read more

Ok, Well I'm going to add to this. I renewed my lease. Management has been great towards me, that I will admit. But, the issue is this is supposed to be a luxury living apartment complex. And we have had nothing but the ghetto. Constant smoking, we signed becauseit was a no smoking facility, and not to mention the constant police, under cover police and swat team. We pay alot of money and ita disturbing to know one of ur neighbors is constantly visited by the law. They raised our rent at 6.5%, or pay $500+ for a month to month ontop of ur rent. Valet trash is not optional, yet they are never consistent. Except the guy with the beard, he picks up on time. We are charged $25 for valet, trash fluctuates every month like it was the gas bill. And someone created a chat room for the residents, and I'm active on it. I'll admit, but the things I see and read about this building in thier is horrible. The trees in the building and outside the building are falling over. The best management can do, is tell people "Corporate said we can terminate your contract". Not cool, and when you tell then which apartment is making too much noise, or smoking or the police is constantly visiting they don't do anything. Atleast this is what's being said in the chat room. Corporate if ur reading this, go in the chat room. I have been on management's side for a while. But, I can do so much as a concerned resident. it's disturbing that my peace and quiet along with other residents who pay over $3000+ on rent aren't satisfied many of us abide by the contract, yet others and thier guest are trashing the place. read more

It took me multiple calls, visits, and voicemails for them to even get this first video of someone taking my car. I wonder when they will fix my leaking roof? 8 months later and still waiting. My carpet gets soaked every time! My neighbors party all the time till four in the morning and no one ever does anything about it. My previous neighbors shot a gun off in his apartment and nothing happened. In addition to that they were selling NOS out of their apartment and have traffic coming in and out at all hours of the day. This place has turned into a mess! read more

I will bring my review here now since they decided to create a new page. I had posted a review a couple months back under Jefferson SoLa by Avenue 5th, but I'll leave my updates here. There's a new management team that was brought in a couple of months back and ever since they came along things have been an even bigger mess. The old management was good at sending emails for communications and this management will post stuff on the door. They dont even inform the residents when someone is renting out the clubhouse for a private event. I've had to cancel plans because they fail to let us know ahead of time. Now, it seems like no one is obeying what's in the lease. When I first moved in last December, I wasn't allowed to have stuff on my balcony, it had to be only outside furniture or plants. Lights couldn't be hanging off rails, no cardboard boxes, no cleaning supplies could be left out, etc. Now, you see all these apartments in violation of that. There is even a big Grinch on the balcony by the pool. This management is so quick to reference what's in the lease but fail to comply and follow up with residents who keep being in violation. They always say "They're working on it." Not to mention its a smoke free community but yet people are smoking in their balconies and by the pool. Everything is always so dirty. The cleaning ladies do a horrible job at disinfecting frequently used surfaces and knobs. The key fob to get into the mail room has had this disgusting stain on it (kinda looks like poop) for months now. As a resident i use my phone or key card to get into the building and I sure hate to tap my phone on these things when they're so dirty, I dont want that dirt on my phone. Pool isn't a heated pool anymore and its always so dirty. There's hardly any disinfectant wipes at the gym. Dogs bark so much and dog poop all throughout the community. The mail room is a disaster, it takes me forever to find my packages. And I can go on but not going to waste anymore of my time. read more

Run while you can. Do not live here. I am a current resident and move in this year. It was previously under another management that was friendly, compassion, reliable, and just more. This management is complete opposite. Us resident keep getting weekly letters at our door telling us these new rules that are complete opposite of when we signed up for and what was "pitched". I pay rent, water, electricity and trash fee of 25 that was disclosure. Great that was agree and 100 aware. Now there are 2 trash fee. 1. Valet trash 25 (I was aware) and 2. Trash (I don't know what this is if someone else is growing my trash already paid for) of 30. Other fees include cold water, hot water, sewer, sewer base, water heating, pest control, and service fee( does not include the 30 dollar service fee of paying online) that's additional 110 dollars that I was unaware of . Again no issues, no complaints, but with current management , now it's frustrating. You are not creating the peaceful living that you advocated. The management is the ones making it frustrating not my fellow neighbors. They advertised pet friendly home. Now they don't want us waking our dogs in the premises if it not on the dog turf. Issues with turf are as followed: They rinse with a hose and not proper cleaning supplies that removes the odors. The area is small that I can share with 3 dogs and that if the other fellow dogs are friendly. Even taking my dog to the sidewalk they want me not to be by the premises. I'm sorry excuse me the side walk is considered the city not Jefferson sola. They are entire disregarding my peaceful living here with my fellow animal. They now want for our pets not to be in my patio or balcony. Excuse me it's my home that I'm paying and so is the additional dog rent. The maintenance and cleaning team are complaining per manager of cleaning the community. Hellos that's in your job description I'm sure. Let's move on The gym. I love the gym but each time a machine breaks they take a decade to fix. There is still a machine broken since I move in this year. So 8 months. The television all over the community and even in the gym do not work. The gym is open I want to say 5am to 10 pm but the restroom access isn't until 8 am so I have to walk back home to use the restroom and come back down . I don't know if they ever tasted the water fountain but it taste poisonous and not filtered. The gate . You have a sticker on your door for the gate to open. Great easy. The front one has been broken since June and have not fixed it. You have to use a code which anyone can spread around and get in. Speaking of getting in there has been car break In do to gate issues. A whole car had there tires STOLED. I can not make this up. The manager is focusing on how to make our living miserable versus pleasant and focusing on the better thing in this community. She rather type of letters and tell us to do better while she needs to do better as we are paying for the services I can keep going but this should be enough reason not to move in. I am moving out as soon as my lease is over and so are other people in the community. read more

My wife and I have been living here going on the second year. The staff Ms Debra, Ms Staysha, and Ms Kim are courteous, professional, and friendly. Also the the maintenance crew here, Mr Adrian, Senior Miguel, and the 2 Ladies are excellent. When I have concerns I address it with them privately and in a respectful, courteous, and dignified matter. Our concerns gets addressed. I have the utmost respect for them. read more

RUN!!! RUN! RUN! This place is by far the worst place I've ever lived in. The communication between management, and tenants is none existent. They lack professionalism, and most of all they do not answer or get back with any sort of updates on anything!!! The rent is constantly going up with no explanation. We had several hot water issues . No explanation! They charge for trash services an additional $35 that we don't use and can't even opt out of but fail to mention when you are signing the lease. They promise you parking for guests, but get ready because once you take them up on that offer your guest will be towed. Not to mention vehicles are constantly getting stolen from this lot. They charge a hefty amount only to wake up and not find your car. The amenities are filthy and never cleaned. The hot tub and pool are green now due to the lack of cleanliness. You will get Ringworms I promise. The elevator smell like dog pee all the time. The dog park is never cleaned and smell like absolute sh*** you can't even walk by there with out getting sick to your stomach. The grass in the common areas is no longer green and the trees are all leaning now. You'd think for all the money they collect they can at least make the place decent. As I drive into the parking garage I fear for my life people are constantly speeding in the garage. No mirrors for blind spots so good luck getting in and out safely. You'll need it. The sheriffs might as well have an office here they are constantly in the building. Domestic violence, and drug dealings are all normal here apparently. They don't believe in emails. We get updates from the elevator signs. It's beyond ridiculous. We live in 2023 !!!! Overall this place is like living in the ghetto or the projects. I would not wish this place even on my worst enemies. I can not wait to get out of this prison..... Negative stars if I could. read more
