This is the first apartment I've ever rented on my own, and in a city I wasn't too familiar with at…read morethe time so I was nervous about finding a place that would make me feel at home and safe. The selling point for me while I was apartment hunting was that the manager, Christina, was the most accessible and prompt at returning calls and answering questions, and this has not changed about her after signing the lease. She is incredibly attentive to our needs and works very hard to ensure we are happy where we live. The complex as a whole always looks great and clean. Anytime I've needed anything from her, she's on top of it right away. She's made living here very stress free and home-y! Aside from that, the complex itself is nice and feels very safe. Lots of security cameras around the complex (also a selling point for me living alone), locked gates, an assigned parking spot, and a nice clean pool which has been great during the summer heat. The units are upgraded and feel new. I love that it's across the street from a golf course as it makes for a better view and less crowded on the street for parking as opposed to having another apartment complex or residence there. Overall, I've really enjoyed my time here! In large part thanks to Christina. She's a true professional and dedicated to making this complex feel like home. Thank you for all you do!

Grace has always been so helpful and made my moving process so smooth!!! Great experience.read more

I moved in a few years ago. The nature atmosphere is lovely. My little one learned so much living…read morehere, how to swim, about plants, critters (butterflies, lizards, spiders etc) all those which reside in the small plant areas. For her first years of life it was educational and relaxing. However it was far from that for us adults. When we moved in our apartment was dirty & dangerous. The toilet wasnt replaced, the carpet was full of dirt & nails (big nails that were plucked off the wall and left on the floor) I cleaned all the blinds and window sills which were dirty. The paint job was bad with cheap chalk paint. Any time I cleaned the wall the paint would clean right off. I had to send in for maintenance on the carpet twice. The nails that stick up from the carpet were poking us and my daughter was poked as well. The carpet was disgusting, if we wanted it clean it had to come out of our own pockets. I put in my own carpet on top of it. The restroom tiles were painted & with every shower the paint kept peeling. After settling in, I would go on walks with my baby. One day the gate wouldnt open with my code, it was pre-pandemic so mostly everyone was out working. I could call the manager, Gabriela, & have her open the gate since it was a weekday (non-holiday) during her office hours. I called her over and over and over. I called the 3 different numbers she had used before. I kept calling! My 6 month old was hungry and sleepy but I could NOT get in. I knocked, tried the code many times and kept calling. Several times I was declined; it would go to voicemail after a ring or two. I could NOT get a hold of her, I was so angry! I couldnt change or feed my baby because Gabriela wasnt were she was supposed to be. Waited for an hour & a half (which is long for a baby to wait) I was pissed! This concerned the health of my baby. Finally a neighbor came & I was able to get in. I was so upset, when I finally saw her I asked her about it and she had the audacity to say she did not receive any calls. I started to see the questionable characteristics she has. I lost my wallet but "the camera didn't catch who took it". I "lost" a package once but the camera "wasn't working". The cameras are inconsistent; sometimes they work and other times they dont work. One of my packages was open when she called me to get it. She was not present when there was a huge fight between neighbors and one threatened to pull out a weapon. I was outside with my baby and felt extremely unsafe. My baby and I spent our pandemic days on the grass, tables and chairs. She noticed I was friendly with a neighbor she doesn't get along with, from then on, we couldnt sit on the grass. A few months later the tables and chairs were gone. My baby and I had to resort to actuallly sitting on the pathway cement floor in order to sit down and take in some sun and eat a snack. So sad. I realized Gabriela was trying to keep me as one of her "allies". The longer conversation got with her the weirder they got. She told me personal stuff about neighbors, things I felt she shouldnt be saying to anyone. I dont deal with liars, rumors, and especially since her job is to deal with people & their personal space, I got uncomfortable knowing what she told me. Then I started to keep my space, and only have a professional manager/tenant relationship. I can IMAGINE what shes been telling others about ME! Lucky for her I didnt continue spreading the lies to my neighbors. I was friendly with everyone & many had the same sentiment about her. Move outs have been because they dont want to deal with her, us included. (Although a nice home at an affordable price is a plus for us haha!) Drama unfolded which I cant get into but it was extremely disappointing to find out that the OWNER of the place didnt believe the tenants. Owner & manager are in kahoots so dont even go to the owner with your issues, they will be dismissed. Gabriela avoided us like the plague. An innocent person wouldnt do that. She watches the cameras at all times (eek!) and strategically avoids all the tenants that have issues with her Water shut offs happen often. Announcements are always posted a day or two late, not giving tenants time to adjust. An inconvenient new paint job of "10 days" took over a month (June 8th- July 22nd) Our numbers were removed, we had to post our own numbers. The manager only did something about it the day the owner came to check things out. If Gabriela doesnt like you then any paper that is for you, she doesn't stick on your door but leaves it on the floor and if it flies away, it isnt her problem. She is very passive aggressive ATTN: Keep your own camera on the window. Read your WHOLE lease, YOU'RE paying for carpet cleaning, apartment cleaning, and paint job. Addendum "I" wasn't in our lease but was given to us the day we moved out Check out my photos as well All in all, I wouldnt recommend this place or any of the other apartments owned by The Downey Management Group at all.

Where to even begin... My family and I have been living here for 12 years when Tanya was the…read moremanager. Everything ran smoothly and all our maintenance needs were taken care of. Ever since this new creepy manager moved in, Gabriella Sanchez it has been the worst time living here!! She's a nightmare! She runs her mouth telling every neighbor about everyone's business here. If you're NOT bestie bestie with her then good luck with your maintenance problems! She posts up rules everywhere in the apartments like if we're in kindergarten. She closes the pool THAT WE PAY FOR whenever she feels like it and always says it's due to "maintenance". Gaby also puts signs all over the grass saying "Stay off the Grass" so that the neighbors will stay indoors all day. She threw away all the tables and chairs by the pool so that no one socializes or have any social gatherings. Also be very CAREFUL when ordering stuff here!!! The manager will KEEP YOUR STUFF!!! she gives us back our packages OPENED!!! This woman is a messy ass person!!! She's childish and problematic! All the neighbors get along well here, she's trying to keep the neighbors from socializing! We used to say "good morning" and "hello" to some neighbors downstairs and all of a sudden they no longer want to greet us and we have no idea why! I believe this lady Gaby is talking shit about us and trying to turn each neighbor against each other with her narcissist ass! Don't rent here if you want to be watched every minute and be watched on everything you do!! So beware!!!
