This a is not a favorable report of the recent experience living here for almost 7 years. First years were a dream. Now....water is shut off weekly. The electric rates skyrocketed thru the roof. I have been here a little over a month. Coming from a studio that was literally awful that I paid 1700 dollars. I checked this place out and immediately knew this would be my new home. The staff is AMAZING! They are always available for a chat and are so friendly. I'll be walking to my car and the workers always say hi good morning. My place is perfect for me. I actually love coming home! It's very quiet I literally don't hear anything and I have a couple and a small kid right next door and never hear them! That's a plus. I'm so glad I chose this place to be my home from the moment I did a walk through I spent like 45 minutes just talking to jasmine. She was so friendly and very attentive. I have a cousin who lives here and you cannot visit them since there is no visitor parking. Anytime we visited we would be harassed by the manager to leave the premises or be towed. I have never been to an apartment complex that doesn't have designated guest parking. It makes no sense. They will say you can park in one of the two office parking spaces after 6pm but good luck with that they fill up right away and the cars do not move ! The manager is so rude about it too. They don't care about their residents and their guest, only about profit as they sell every single parking space to residents and I hear there's a long wait for those! This horrible parking situation should be disclosed to future residents before they move in. read more

Each Apartment comes with 1 Fridge, 1 Stove, 1 Microwave and a A/C unit You can walk to Costco, Target, Golf n Stuff, and near by stores. I lived in this apartment complex for almost 2 years. They were very responsive and any issues within the unit would get fixed within a day or two. My only complaint would be the parking situation. You only get one parking spot per unit, and I believe you can rent another spot for some monthly fee, but only if there's availability... there's no street parking and no guest parking, so that made it very hard to have family or friends over. The complex is very clean and VERY SAFE. Laundry rooms are available in all 3 buildings.... Appliances are provided (microwave, fridge, oven/stove). AC unit is located in the bedroom and there's a wall heater in the living room. I would recommend getting a unit on the 2nd floor... some people have no regard for their downstairs neighbors. read more

Been staying here for the past 6 years. The maintenance team was clean, professional and prompt whenever I had an issue. I never had bug problems which is a huge plus compared to my last places. Manager is reliant and effective at problem solving. Pool is very clean, never had any issues with my packages being delivered, no problems with neighbors pets and very easy access to the freeway! read more

If you like paper thin walls you'll love this place. I get it the building codes are a joke for these types of buildings but it's hell living down stairs with someone who walks like an elephant. You can actually hear light switches get turned on. It's not nice when it's 3am and you hear all this. Maybe you can get used to this? I haven't. Don't live down stairs definitely don't sign a lease for downstairs. They do keep the place clean, and upgrade the facilities. The manager does the best he can. Staying at this apartment complex wasn't too bad. We recently moved out and from the beginning Getsy has been amazing to communicate with! She's super transparent and willing to work with you on parking situations (ex: if you have movers or even a wifi company coming by). The reason why it's not a full 5 stars is due to the high rent rate and certain pricey utility charges. Otherwise Getsy definitely does a great job managing this apartment! The maintenance team does come by when you put in your ticket, so no issues there either. read more

After living at Porto Bella for 4 years, we just moved out this past May. Every year our lease was up, our rent would be raised $50-100. We were paying more money each year but we weren't seeing that money applied to the facilities. Laundry machines were often broken. Parking is a nightmare and visitor parking spots are taken for months at a time. Also, the location of being right next to the freeway sounds like a good idea because it's to easy to jump right on and get going. But in reality, it is loud, and it is dirty. You accumulate a black silt all over your house, floors and walls whether your windows are open or not. Porto Bella was a good starter apartment for my family. We learned a lot about what we do and do not like about apartment living there, and ultimately decided it was not the place for us. read more

This review is an update from my previous excellent review. I lived at Porto Bella from 2018 to 2023. It seemed fine at first; however things changed quickly. The manager at the time was a creep and would "conveniently" pop-up everytime I went outside even though I didn't maintain a regular schedule. Around 2020, my neigbors starting operating a portable washing machine in their unit and the noise was unbearable and a nuisance. I complained to management but the issue wasn't resolved. I was told that I could move. Wow, really? To make matters worse, my neighbors began retaliating against me by playing weird shower games when I would bath. I felt violated and unsafe so I moved. Before moving, the rat in the wall stole most of my makeup out of the bathroom drawer. I wouldn't recommend this place. Also, my car was being vandalized and nothing was done about it. read more

The Porto Bella team is the best!! I've had my fair share of unreliable and unfriendly encounters with property managers, but Getsy and Liz have made this move so smooth! They are on top of everything and are so accommodating. From time I toured their property, they have been so welcoming. I knew I was in good hands. Applying for a unit was easy with Getsy's help and she kept me up to date on everything that was happening! Amazing communication skills. In the process of moving, I had to contact them on multiple occasions regarding some in-unit questions/maintenance requests and they have responded and been there to support me right away. Porto Bella's maintenance crew is just as awesome! Jimmy and Oscar are so on top of the maintenance requests as well and are the friendliest people to have around the complex. The complex itself is so well-maintained! I have yet to see any trash in the area. read more

I lived here for 10 months about with my girlfriend and we had NOTHING BUT A BAD EXPERIENCE. First off, the rent is insane for the space you are getting. There is 0 storage. You better have a storage unit or be ready to have stuff in the corners of your place. Second, I was harassed by Fredrick on numerous occasions regarding the "zero smoking policy" (Granted there is 0 proof and this is all allegations). The man walked up on me while I was working on my car and started going off about how I should "eat edibles" ? Ridiculous manager and property in my opinion. I do not smoke. I've told him countless times. Another time he came to our front door at 10 am saying the place smells like weed. We opened the door wide open and said come on in and check, Fredrick just kept on talking and never actually checked. Harassing us to the fullest. Why, because we are an interracial couple? Do yourself a favor and look long and far before considering this place. If you want another gate opener, they charge you.. extra parking spot? $60. HAHAHA. Oh and have fun with the 2 guest parking spaces only! Our neighbors also had an entire gym workout station in their home. Constant floor rattling with nothing done about it when telling management. Then you have the couple who gets the cops call every week along with a full on Raid on an apartment. Don't let this place fool you. You can do so much better if you look around before trying this place. I rent an entire house for less. I also didn't post this review until I got my deposit back 100% because that's the kinda feeling I get from these people. (Regarding the reply from owner) I will be uploading pictures of the instance with police storming the apartment. You are lying just to make your apartment complex seem great to unsuspecting people. This will be posted across across every website showing this place. Makes me absolutely sick you have the audacity to say there was not a raid / cops called on a neighbor every so often. If you have read this far and are considering this place, take all of this into consideration. I wouldn't be writing / giving my time to this review for nothing. Stumbled upon PortoBella by accident but glad I did. The apartments are somewhat tucked away behind a few high-end dealerships. They have also recently been upgraded. Nice and quaint little complex that offers a pool, BBQ grills and a dog park. Right off the 605 and a few miles from the 5fwy. Recently moved to LA from South OC and I can honestly say I have personally seen the apartment grounds up kept and maintained on a daily basis, which I didn't expect. My children have enjoyed the pool that we usually have all to ourselves and love it! Complex is always quiet and everyone I have come across seems friendly. We have had nothing short of a great experience since moving in. Fredrick, the property manager has been more than helpful to make sure that we are taken cared of. We have had a few minor issues but Fredrick has been great about tending to the issues within a day. He has great communication and has been very tentative to any problems that we've experienced and is always sure it's handled in a timely manner. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're looking for a quiet little low key apartment complex. read more

I have been living at the Porto Bella Apartments for about a year. Getzy is super sweet and always prompt to help and respond to any concerns or issues you may have! Liz is very friendly and super helpful! They are the absolute BEST! Parking was a BIG issue but Getzy worked hard and fixed the issue! The neighbors upstairs is so loud! Kid always screaming and yelling! His tv is super loud and you can hear the kid stomping and running. It's super annoying and frustrating when you're trying to sleep and it's 1 am and all you can hear is stomping and running! read more

I just moved into the complex about two or three months ago and I have to say, I love it! It has a nice pool, two grills, and very quiet. After touring the facility with Fredrick, the property manager, I practically signed the same day. Even with my lack of renter's history I had, we were able to work something out. He personally helped guide me through the whole process and made it SUPER Easy. You'll see around the complex most of the time and really makes you feel welcomed. He's very responsive, approachable, and easy to get a hold of. I honestly can't thank him enough. As for the apartment, it's a GEM. Freeway adjacent, grocery stores less than a mile away, along with a Starbucks and Target that's walking distance. It's really honestly really convenient​. Lived here for 4 years from 2018-2022. Frederick was the original property manager at that time and was very attentive and made sure the complex was safe. He routinely did sweeps. During COVID, Getzamany took over and besides utility costs going up, did not notice any significant changes in management. Maintenance was always amazing and I had really nice neighbors. The laundry machines went out often due to people not knowing how to wash clothes correctly (using too much detergent). I actually preferred going to LaundryMax on Pioneer Rd. because I was able to get more clothes washed for cheaper. Move-out was pretty stressful but they really worked with me when I had to push my final move-out date. It's no smoking and very quiet. If you have more than 1 car, you'll have some difficulty but I only had one car so never had issues. I only moved because they raised rent pretty significantly. The power outages weren't really their fault but they could improve their water shut off notice but honestly even though it was fairly frequent, it wasn't super long so was manageable even when I was working remotely. Never dealt with bugs except the occasional spider and never rodents. Overall would recommend if you can afford it. read more

I recently moved out of this apartment complex after living here for 6 months. Overall it was a great experience and am a little disappointed that the stay was so short. Pros: *Very affordable, only 1710 a month on a 6 month lease. Utilities came out to around 50-55 per month and additional parking space was another 55. *Very quiet community, besides some traffic noise I rarely ever heard neighbors even when I had windows open. *The community manager, Fredrick, was always incredibly friendly and helpful. He knew me by name and always said hello and asked how things were when I ran into him at the apartment complex. *Apartment was recently renovated with laminate hardwood floors and new kitchen appliances. *Onsite laundry and reasonable prices, never had a problem getting an empty machine *Convenient location right off the 5, 605, and 105 *Clean complex, I never saw loose trash anywhere. No bugs anywhere, previous complex I lived at had occasional spiders and cockroaches near the trash. *Gated complex, every night the gate to the parking lot is locked and never felt unsafe walking to or from my car at night Cons: *Waitlist for additional parking spots and few visitor parking spots. It took about 2 months to get a second spot, but you can park overnight on the street in front of the complex and dealer next door. It seems like 1 person continuously takes advantage of the 72 hour spots by constantly swapping their two vehicles between their assigned spot and the visitor spot. A bright blue jeep and white BMW are without fail always in one of the visitor spots. *No central air conditioning. I only lived here from September-March, but it did get warm in the living room during hotter days. read more

I've been living in Porto Bella for a couple years now. I've lived throughout the surrounding area and must say, by far, this has been the best apartment complex I've stayed in. The units are renovated and the property management team keeps the grounds clean. Fredrick, the Property Manager, is extremely helpful and is always tentative to any questions or concerns I have. He is professional and follows up on any incident or questions. The maintenance crew does a great job as well with any service request. Quick to fix any problems in or outside of the units. Shout out to Jimmy. My surrounding neighbors are friendly and are quiet as well. No issues with them. Unlike some apartments where you can hear your neighbor playing music, watching TV etc. I do not hear any of that. If you are considering or thinking of finding a place and Porto Bella is on your list I would highly recommend it. Was able to move in ASAP. However the parking situation SUCKS!!!!!! There needs to be more spaces built. Or buy out the lot next to the pool. Everything is amazing but the Peking situation. When you go ask for a guest pass it's already been "taken". read more
