Her secretary was very amicable, etc. so my apt was set for the following week at 3:30. I got there at 3:25 and was informed the secretary had to run out for an errand which was fine because I completely understand life happens. My apt started at 3:55 and its supposed to run from 30-45 minutes per their office. But as soon as 4:30 arrived I left rushed out because the Dr had another apt with a veteran client. Then, I contact the office by ph to discuss medication, the secretary was very rude and seemed annoyed when I mentioned the delay in my first apt. She made me feel stupid like I didn't understand this is a psychiatric matter. Then I go to my second apt because I fig maybe that was just a one time deal and the secretary maybe was just having a bad day. This apt was set for 4:30. I checked in 4:20, time went by and next thing it was 4:55 and no one in sight. I had a another apt set at 6 pm and couldn't be late. I left without saying anything as there was no one in the front desk which I poked my head through the window a few times and the Dr was with another patient, most likely a veteran. I called their office and explained why I left. I was told that that is just the way the practice works which is totally incorrect as I have seined other psychiatrist and they have been punctual every time. So beware, if you decide to be come a new patient. Be prepared to be later and put in the bottom of the barrel until you serve your time.

Gina Twumasi created an absolute nightmare of an experience. Twumasi's negligence didn't just hurt…read moreme, it severely impacted my children, causing serious damage to our family as a whole. I was struggling with insomnia during a stressful situation. Gina Twumasi worsened this stress. She confused personal information and treatment about another patient with me. When a medication was unhelpful, Twumasi doubled the dose, and continued doubling it month after month despite it being ineffactive. When my PCP expressed disagreement with medication Twumasi had prescribed me, and offered to collaborate, Twumasi abruptly stopped communicating with no explanation (she obviously didn't want to collaborate). Despite having future appointments in place, Twumasi and her front desk went silent. Psych on Demand lacked the decency and professionalism to respond to any attempts I made to contact. The receptionist Renate was consistently rude and lacked the knowledge and ability to be of any help. The worst part is Twumasi seemed to feel no remorse for the damage she caused and has done nothing to repair the impact of her poor choices.

The pharmacy says all they're waiting for is a call from my APRN Susan or Brandy. calling the office is a joke. The machine picks up and states that the office is closed, clearly it is not. The website says it's open till 6:30. It also states to leave a vm and someone will get back to me within 2 business days. What does it take for my APRN to call in my script? I've been struggling with this for weeks!!! It's not good to just stop your anxiety depression meds just like that. After a month of trying to get through to the office that states every single day they are closed is beyond unacceptable! Nobody calls back after two business days like it states. Nobody calls back at all. It's not only unprofessional to ignore one or your clients but it's downright mean and cruel!!! I shouldn't have to call 911, be taken to the hospital by ambulance,, just to get my prescription filled! With no transportation and no spare money for an uber I'm stuck sitting here going nuts! I have lost all respect for Synergy due to all its failures. I shouldn't have to take this further but it looks like I'm going to have to.....
