Teshone is either a liar or just doesnt know what he is doing. He did pitch a great line. 30000 dollar later i still had 160 power bill and 90 dollar panel bill. No pool yet nor electric car. He told me i would have enough power to supply 4 houses. When i asked him about the new charge that fpl just added if you didnt use enough power he told me i wouldnt have to pay that because of my surplus. Stay away from these people.

Maraki Solar representatives have visited my home in Crestview at least 8 times in the past year,…read moredespite my requests that they cease. They ignore my "No Soliciting" sign posted within an inch of my doorbell, and claim that "they are just providing information, and not soliciting". I opened a case with Better Business Bureau 1 month ago (Case #19062862) to complain and request that they stop. Meraki responded that they would "inform their 1099 contractors that this customer's address should not be canvassed." This apparently had no effect, as I was just now visited again (less than 4 weeks after my BBB complaint) by two rude salespeople who resorted to personal insults when told to leave my property. When they refused to leave I approached them, and one of them actually said "you're really going to take on two 20 year olds?" They finally relented but started spewing insults as I followed them off my property. One actually stated that he makes a lot more money than me (based on what?), bragged about how hard they work while I "sit in my house all day" (they visited after 6 PM, after I was home from work), and finally criticized my wearing of Crocs slippers (which I was wearing inside my own house, mind you, before they rang my door bell).

Can I score a zero? Let's see…read more I have a solar water heater on my roof. A month ago, the system froze and the pipes cracked and the whole thing was rendered unusable. Ok... It was kind of my fault, and I'll take a bit of responsibility for the issues - to a certain extent. My problem is... I didn't design this system. The recirculate function, and freeze plug systems weren't my ideas. I'm sure that the draining of the system would have been better attempts at keeping the system from causing issues, but I was led to believe that these systems were sufficient. My system froze and as a result the pipes froze and burst and there was a complete system failure. The good news was that I was under warranty. The bad news was that Compass Solar and the company that was "warrantying" my system had no problem gouging me. The estimated price to replace my system was over 1300 bucks. I decided to go NOT green to replace the system. I'm 60. I'm going to die before I can make the difference. Good luck young people. Greed takes precedence in today's market. You're going to pay for it in the long run. I'l be long dead.

The problem came to light after the service manager of 6 years and the other employee saw it was not installed correctly and had no sealant. Naturally 1 owner agreed they needed to fix the approx 23k damage on our house. I paid them 30k plus for the privilege of this frustration which looks like is going the legal route. Bottom line the first rate service manager has quit as he can not stomach the fraudulent actions of this company . So my system has been down for closing in on 2 months DOING NOTHING. Solar system can be great but no better than com and quality of company behind it.

Before finding Panels Up Solar, my RV solar project was a nightmare. Despite a significant…read moreinvestment, it was never fully functional, making it impossible to manage my power and leaving me without confidence in its safe operation. I found them via internet search but what sold me was my initial phone conversation with the owners, Justin and Tracy Ford. Justin spent at least 20 minutes patiently listening to my concerns, explaining how things should work, and providing potential solutions. Despite their being in a different state, hours away, I ended the phone conversation by making an appointment. They have Harvest Host camping spots at the business location, saving me the trouble of finding a nearby place to camp. Prior to my arrival, Tracy called to confirm what we would be working on and my arrival time. After arriving, a problem quickly arose. I'm a talker who has never met a stranger. Justin shares this affliction. Thank goodness Tracy was there for a gentle nudge here and there to keep us on track, or we might still be talking. They were both so kind and friendly. It felt like being among family. Justin was able to properly evaluate the system, identify the problem areas, and correct them. Initially thinking I might have to replace some components, he saved that cost by correcting installation errors and making what I had function as intended. He answered every question (there was a lengthy list), explained his changes, provided instructions to operate the system safely, and even helped map out potential future improvements. However, he recommended first using the system as is before making those decisions and doing so incrementally only as needed, the opposite of the high-pressure sales pitches often seen. At the end of the day, I happily wrote the check feeling I had gotten my money's worth and more. After a night on the lot, Tracy messaged me to please stop by the office before leaving. She had looked at my invoice and picked up an overcharge. WHAT???? Who does that??? I was out the door happy, and yet they brought me back to refund some of the money. The Fords were so knowledgeable, professional, friendly, caring, and fair in our dealings that I cannot recommend them enough.

We were given a date and sent in our deposit and we were contacted to confirm everything. All went according to schedule. We spent about 2 hours on site reviewing all the options available thoroughly and just how Justin expected to perform the install on our RV. We came back 2 weeks later and it was a beautiful installation. He even made some improvements that we didn't know about in the beginning. Justin spent another 2 hours with us showing how everything works. Justin and Stacy were very professional and just good people. It was a pleasure doing business with them and we would recommend them to anyone. They are trustworthy and knowledgeable.

The story of Sunpro likens me to think of a used car salesman in the 70's. First sales technique is…read moresmoke and mirrors. They regale you with a fantastic 25 year warranty (it's not), how the panels are certified in 145 mile an hour winds (Hurricane Sally was 105 mph, I guess no one told the panels). The sales crew are geared up with lies, when these panels rightfully could sell themselves. Now once you have made the purchase, and it's typically hefty, all it takes is a storm like Hurricane Sally to recognize you have made a mistake. In a hurricane undoubtedly you are going to have roof damage. I had minimal, the leaks I had were where there was panel (frame) placement. One panel blew off at 105 mph winds, two were damaged. Sunpro did come out and access the damage (yes that's epic) the workman were very nice, professional and honest. This is when I discovered that a Warrenty is baseless, and costs were about to mount up. Then came the coordinator, this is a term I heard frequently, that my coordinator was going to coordinate with my roofers, as long as I used there roofer. There roofer appraised the damage at twice the amount done. No doubt coordinators are costly. So, to uninstall then reinstall (hopefully) my 26 panels came out to a hefty $5600. But, coordinators like to use the word insurance. My guess is they don't know how pathetic insurance companies are. Well I had my roof redone, and contacted the coordinator. She was set on having 23 not 26 panels reinstalled. I asked why they couldn't install 26 panels. It was answered with "Have I spoken to my insurance " I don't know what they have to do with my panels, just give me give me a bill. Apparently coordinators don't know prices either, and rescheduling is out of there realm. They will not give prices, everything becomes a shrouded mystery and this is where I don't appreciate anything they say and do. Solar Panels are a great thing, Sunpro does them a disservice with there smoke and mirrors, I'm at the point of wishing I never heard of them. A pathetic bunch, who are apparently not trained in ethics, integrity, and honesty. Being up front is not in there ethos.
