They are both incompetent, slow to respond (even to emergencies!) and ABSOLUTELY CORRUPT! Fortunately, it appears that they have been closed down and management, and possibly ownership, of the 300 unit apartment property has been transferred to, or absorbed by the OC Housing Authority. Good riddance! And the manager, Kojac M., is not likely to have been admitted into the LAPD as he has planned and trained for (he was constantly working out and a 6'4" beast who intimidated everyone and stole the cash deposits and even financially benefited from money orders made out to the project name, "Casa Paloma Apartments" in which he had an undisclosed and substantial ownership interest. I have been living at one of Solaris properties actually Eastgate at Creekside . This is absolutely the worst management company I've ever dealt with in my life . I've been asking for a new blinds because my blinds don't work in my place for over 4 years , yes 4 years. They've had the regional come out and inspect them and she approved them that unfortunately the next day she went to another area to cover and the new Regional came in approve them and now this April will be 4 years since I don't have my blinds fixed or repaired they have four or five washers for the entire facility which is horrible the machines break down all the time we don't get our money back I've asked for about 3 months for $7 back that was taken out of the machines and of course I have not even heard from the manager the courtesy blacks at this facility so bad . We can't use money in the machine so you have to use the machine they have in the laundry room to load a card that breaks all the time the manager Betty knows about it and still doesn't put a note up there if I had to move back in here I definitely would not. We emailed and called several times to ask for the status of our application but it's been almost a month now and nothing happened. Solari's Scott and Wally just actually just got fired from managing our building for trying to cover up their previous managers whom also fraudulently were stealing tenant rents as they were. They were abysmal managers here making no repairs and being impossible to get ahold of. Their typical solari manager tactics were the same over the years such as threatening tenants to their last days on the property as only seen them last 1 week out an entire year trying to do last years past due recertification's. Good riddens and if see they are managing a building, I'd personally avoid them like the plague or better yet, get ready to sue them if they are managing your building or the one you reside in. If you value integrity, hard work (dedication) and loyalty, you won't find it here. I gave them two years of steady work as a PM, I went to estreme measures cleaning their messy files and filthy office because getting them the highest number in audits and managing an entire property on my own due to a corrupt staff (that steals company time and who work poorly and very suspicious, not showing up, and when they do they gossip for two hours each day, who take the residents's and management belongings home or give them to other residents) excellent manipulators. The people working for the owners and who feel as owners were sucked in into their world of lies and manipulation. It took ONE person with more influence (Ebony represents the Property owners at WORKS) to show-up to the property twist a situation and suddenly I'm out. After two years of being loyal and working for them I was terminated for being the wrong fit. The fact is that Ebony fabricated a false report, for whatever reason, to make me look bad says a lot about her integrity. She also thought that I was never going to see her report, fortunately I did (my attorney obtained my entire file from Solari). People like her often try to fit in with the majority and protect their own image by throwing someone else under the bus. Or perhaps she is just a plane victim of the corruption and manipulation that goes on in this property and T.Bailey. I was offer to engage in their own agenda but because I believe in good work ethic-I refused and I became the enemy. SO much black energy its like a spiritual warfare, I hope to leave soon. For two years, they tried so hard to make me quit with constant harassment, retaliating against my instructions, turning residents, management and vendors against me, worse than snakes. They used my sexual preference to harass me even more. Upper management knew about the harassment from tenants and staff but did nothing to support me or protect me. They just ignored my emails. It got so bad that I was physically attacked by two residents (two separate occasions) for being gay-sending me to the hospital and they didn't seem to cared. They believed the residents and the majority-they might have more people on their side but I have facts. It's even worse when leadership does not do their due diligence and just takes one side of the story-Solari. WORKS (Ebony and the ceo) is the worst since they rely on gossip to make decisions. The police arrested them, what does that tell you. But Abony concluded I was the aggressor. The truth will prevail. Standing up against corruption and manipulation takes real courage, especially when one is surrounded by people who just want to protect themselves-no matter at what cost or for the status quo. I believe in Karma (God) and have faith in the law and my attorney is now actively looking into this case. I will not lose this case, they are twisted and they know it. Many applicants in law enforcement get screened by taking a polygraph test before being hired to see if they are honest and trustworthy individuals. Anyone wants to challenge me, I am more than open to take a polygraph test against Ebony's incident report and all their other lies. Avoid this company if you can. read more

The WORST company ever, if you are thinking of renting a unit own by then, RUN! Unless you never want to hear back from them when you have an issue with your place, you don't want to have a direct phone number, a bunch of unanswered emails, voice messages. For emergencies, they are wonderful at running away. I have had 3 managers in charge of my building, they all quit already nobody even told us, now we have no direct with anyone. Our house look like a slum, no leaf cleaners for months, that's just the outside. I have endless stories and we been "managed" by them only for 2 1/2 years. read more

Their motto should be "if you don't like it, move." My manager says that EVERY time I go in to the office. $100 rent increase after 6 months? What? I thought it was a year lease? No, the lease says they can change rent whenever they feel the "need". Literally. The contract is there for no reason, it just states in various places that they can change whatever they want whenever they want. Of course they know that there are no renter's rights here in California, so they take full advantage of that. It's like living in another country here. No laws. Dictatorship. My things have been stolen in the building (packages, belongings, etc) and I am told the cameras are only for building safety. If I get hurt inside or around the building, they are too lazy to check their cameras to help me. what?!?! I definitely don't feel safe now. Don't like it? Move. "Please don't put anything in the balcony." What? My neighbors have bicycles, dressers, plants, all kinds of stuff! "If they don't comply, they will get written up, I saw your balcony, so don't put anything there." 3 months later... no one has gotten written up, they still have their grills and dressers/storage in their balcony. "Can you fix my heater?" "Yes, please email me." 3 months after many maintenance repair emails... "We are very busy." Garage gate doesn't work. 3 months later... "we are working on it. If you don't like it, there are other buildings you can move to." The only thing that matters here is that you pay your rent on time. After hours emergencies are only fire and flood. If you have anything else, like lost keys, someone in your parking spot, loud neighbors... the onsite manager will basically tell you off. The "new" building is also made of layers of cardboard. The doors fall off their hinges, you see that it's composite wood pieces and not really wood. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor's TV, among other things. I don't appreciate being treated like crap every time I speak to the manager. That really needs to stop. You can lie about repair times or that you are "working on it" and not really doing anything because you don't care, but treating people like scum and telling them to move is horrible. Stop. I'd just like to add that the corporate office staff is just as rude and the "supervisors" never return calls. Like I said, they just want you to pay them rent. read more

I live at the Teague Terrace. The Manager and the maintenance refuse to do their jobs. I have been without heat in the dead of winter since December 12th 2022. I have asked the manager about it and he tries to change the subject. My case worker tried to put in a request to but they do nothing. Solari has hired the most deficient people and they do nothing about it. If I had to guess I would say Solari is purposely trying to degrade the property. This company hires managers by supervisors who only offer jobs to their acquaintances, they hire managers that are not professional and who lack costumer service. These unprofessional managers feel like the could treat residents bad, only because you live in affordable housing, and they have the power to evict you in false testimonies. They use manipulation, intimidation, retaliation and even discrimination to anyone who complaints. The supervisor protects their managers more than their residents even though their managers break all the fair housing rules. Sadly the owners of the buildings Solari-ent manages don't have a clue of what these managers are doing in their properties. The owner of this company should really re-train it's managers in costumer service and in fair housing compliance. They should also enforce good dress code, some of her managers show up to work in sweat pants and a T-shirt, and with their hair up in a bun. I have called them numerous times but they have not returned the security deposit yet. The community manager never answered calls or followed up voice mails. Solari is one of those management companies you need to stay away from if you want to deal with competent, honest professionals. They rarely reply if you contact them about any issues or concerns. I didn't have running water in my apartment for two days before they finally did something about it. If they have a problem with you or something you did, you bet they'll send their lawyers after you or threaten to evict you. My mother lived in Donner Trails in Wheatland, Ca. She passed away yesterday. Two hours after mother was taken away they changed the locks and would not let me in. I tried to talk to the manager (Deanna Calibo) and explain I had Power of Attorney but that did no good. She was very rude and had no compassion for my loss. Hospice came to take the equipment but I could not let them in. I would never have any other relative in this facility. My mother has lived here for 20 years and we are now treated like crooks. I applied for one of their apartments that they were advertising geared toward veterans. They have very invasive application practices. The customer service is poor- very unprofessional staff. I didn't go forward with the application process; them to withdraw my application and shred all my personal documents that I had to provide them - they never responded back to my request. Upon entering work every day, you are welcomed and greeted by friendly Team Members. We are offered amazing benefits and vacation/sick time, and you even get to take your birthday off. Have lived in an affordable senior apt building that is supposed to be managed by Solari, which is a JOKE that isn't funny. There is an excuse for everything wrong in the building. We waited almost 6 months to get a maintenance person which didn't last long, so there is no one to clean the building. They have fired the manager for doing her job trying to help the tenants with repair problems so we are really up the creek w/o a boat or paddle. This building is not a year old with faulty floors, appliances, main door doesn't always work; they try to convince us that we don't know what we're talking about. How this building passed inspection while being built is a mystery. Upper management is sorry. read more

With my experience in the apartment complex in Santa Maria, Ca and down south in San Diego, I found the staff to be friendly, responsive and efficient. The young maintenance gentleman was very polite and did his best to help resolve issue. What is disheartening is no matter how hard the staff try to help the other tenants, they would not following directions or help to keep their place clean. read more

If I could leave no stars I would the management team is unprofessional and rude! Stephanie and Tony are the head of this team and the absolute worst! They do not answer or return phone calls because you do not matter. Stephanie is probably the rudest of all of them. Why she has this job I'm unsure but she lacks in customer service appreciation and most of all competency of the job it self. God forbid you've given your housing deposit and are denied the $200 holding deposit you've given to the apartment you've applied to will not be returned to you for months if you're lucky. Wow, I am shocked! I truly thought this unconscionable, and unprofessional behavior by management was isolated to my family. These detailed, negative reviews are spot-on! We waited over 7 years for an apartment here. We spent $1,900. just to fly out here to sign paperwork, which could have been done by fax, but the apartment manager insisted that we both had to sign the paperwork in person. This should have been a red flag, since we were literally one week away from moving into another CA apartment, when we received a letter telling us that the apartment we've patiently waited over 7 years for, was finally available. The other apartment manager was willing to fax dozens of documents back and forth, allow us to FedEx all monies necessary, and spend countless hours corresponding just to help us in the long and arduous process of relocating our entire lives across the country. By the way, Linda, if you see this you know who you are, and how much appreciated you are! You even appologized to us for having to keep the deposit, since we backed out of the lease! But like I told you then Linda, "I don't mind losing that money one bit. You earned every cent of it for ALL that you did for us. You went above and beyond. You could really teach this company how to do their jobs right, all the way to the top fellow! Anyhow, we traveled 3,000 miles to move here. Arrived to an apartment with a soaking wet carpet. Why was it just washed today when our arrival was scheduled weeks ago? Who knows. But without furniture, we slept on layers of towels to keep from being soaked. Why were our feet blackened from walking on a clean (?) carpet? Who knows. But it was disgusting! All but the freshly painted walls were filthy. I photographed the filth, then had to clean it. Just what I wanted to do after driving for a week! I came here with a pre-existing asthma condition to cats, (hair and dander). That shouldn't be a problem though since this is listed as "a pet free community, right?" No wrong! Apparently in the state of CA, a cat isn't a CAT! It's "an extension of a person." WHAT??? I know that various areas of the country have varying terminology...BUT, whatever spin you put on it, there was something in my apartment, that apparently lived in a CAT'S BODY, and now I'm paying you to be continuously ill. Within 2 days of arriving, I was at the hospital for breathing treatments, antibiotics and an inhaler just to survive in my new apartment! And to add insult to injury, they, yes both the supposed experienced manager, who walks around her kingdom, stealth-style, like the queen...of what exactly? And the regional manager who said a lot, but did nothing, both blamed ME for not telling them I had animal allergies. Are you kidding? Why would I? It's a pet-free community! And sorry, but I didn't know that I was allergic to "the extension of a person", or even what the heck that was!! Don't get me wrong. Management is willing to create the "illusion" of actually managing this place for the tenants. They will give you step by step instructions of how to get the issues resolved. But after you jump through hoop after hoop, they do NOT follow through. If anyone manages to get anything done by them, count your blessings. They have been the most unprofessional, irresponsible, unethical, deceptive, reprehensible management company I have ever encountered.
