Had we known, we would've said no to the install and the whole thing. We didn't find out about this after a few months of wondering when the "Rebates" are going to come. In addition to that, we asked JCP&L why our bill is this much. Little that we know that our panels are not producing enough energy. So we reached out to the company, and they said the reason why is, we don't have enough solar panels, and on top of that, they didn't submit the proper paperwork to get the rebates. When I spoke with them, they just said there's nothing they could do about it because I signed the contract already. I told them that what they installed on my roof was not the proposal we agreed upon, but they never did anything about it to rectify it. All they care about is they got us to sing the contract by deception. Now, we are stuck with a loan and a system that we never agreed to in the first place. This company is careless and don't about their clients, and they'll switch their proposal on you. First, they will say things to attract you, and then at the end, they will switch things around. I called them a few times and hoped that they would do us right, but no. This is the reason why I'm writing this review about Power Energy Solutions.

Anil Babooram of Sumintra is a highly educated electrical engineer ( B.S. electrical engineering from U. of PA) and displayed enormous meticulousness throughout the entire installation process. He was also a great pleasure to deal with and a man of impeccable integrity. I really lucked out finding him after going through all the big companies and their sales hypes. I recommend Sumintra unconditionally and would be happy to elaborate on this review. Anil has provided a sophisticated solar product of better quality and price than the big solar installers. Working with Muscatello Electrical was such a good experience from start to finish. Thank you so much for helping us make our home safer and providing such a seamless experience. I really liked Mike from the estimate visit because he was very straightforward (while others seemed to use showy scare tactics). The estimate was black and white- a quantitative, itemized count of what would need to be done and how much each one cost. Shocked to say that we actually saved $2k off the final bill because a few circuits ended up not needing to be done Everything was very well-organized. Colleen coordinated with us in advance on timing, permits, etc. and I can't say enough about how great Mike and his team were. They were here for 2 weeks. We knew what to expect each day - who was coming, at what time, what they were doing. My husband and I both work from home and we have 2 dogs so thought it would maybe be chaotic. But it went so smoothly. The team was very punctual, professional (covering the floors and cleaning up after themselves) and friendly but so respectful, with hardly any impact on our work from home schedules. They went out of there way to minimize damage to our walls e.g., they routed wires from the basement to the second floor via an old floor to ceiling built in in the cabinet, so it's not even visible. There were not nearly as many holes as I expected overall, and they patched them well enough that I was able to just take care of the sanding and painting myself vs. hiring someone professionally. So happy this job is behind us, but would highly recommend for others looking to get rid of their knob and tube. Thank you so much Muscatello Electrical!
