After reading quite a few glowing reviews regarding the quality of the foot massages one can receive there, and let me just tell you, I will absolutely judge a massage therapist based solely (pun definitely intended ) on the quality of said foot massage. I noticed a few asking if they were closed. So I decided to search the Texas board of licensing. And this business does NOT carry a valid license under that name and for all intents and purposes is no longer open. I will update if/when I find out anymore information. read more

These people do not answer their phones. I wanted to try them out and called multiple times... no answer. Left a voicemail then called back an hour later, and voicemail was full.. The chairs I saw looked comfortable but oh well. I took my business elsewhere. I recommend ABC accupuncture and massage off Louetta and Champion Forest. Just around the corner! Made appointment online to receive a $55 reflexology service. When I arrived, Elaine did not ask what service I was there for. I figured that she already knew what my appointment was for as I had made an appointment online specifying what I wanted. I received a much more expensive service in salon and was charged $75 for a service (she gave me $5 discount) I didn't ask for, because the appointment I made online "did not show up in salon's system" and they said my account was not charged the $55. She claimed she did not know that I had made an appointment online and thus did not know what service I wanted. Went to look later and indeed my account was charged for both $55 online charge and the $75 I paid for in the salon. I called the next day to request a refund for $55 and was told that she would look into it and give me a call back. It has been hours later and I have yet to receive a refund or a call back. I have now filed a dispute with PayPal. Sole Natural, at least the two times I have been there, seems to have a lot of miscommunication on what their services provide. The website says I'll receive a peppermint scalp massage, face and eye mask, and foot soak with most of their services. The first time I didn't receive any of that. With the most recent service I only received the scalp massage because I asked for it. Seems to be very disorganized. I never was offered a robe or slippers like other clients seem to. I will say that my actual massage from a nice man (cannot remember his name) was excellent. I'll give one star for that. read more

I went in for a facial and I must say Brandi did an amazing job. She was very informative and extremely knowledgeable on the products she used. Also with identifying my problem areas and what to do to help them. She massaged all the tension away and left me feeling relaxed and glowing with beautiful skin. This was probably one of the best foot massages I have ever gotten and so conveniently close to home! We usually have to drive all the way across town to Chinatown to get a good foot massage but now we won't have to make that trek. Walking into the spa we were pleasantly greeted with a sweet essential oil coming out of a vapor and by Elaine (who I think is the owner). She is so sweet and took the time to explain the different services they offer. She then led us to the backroom where there are four seats on each side and flat screens above each area. What I like about this place is that they have a door separating the massage room from the reception area so you aren't disturbed by people coming in. The therapists are considerate of their clients - they speak in barely audible voices to one another if necessary. They also offer sleeping masks to completely eliminate any light and a set of headphones to enjoy your own soundscape. My therapist, James, is really good! I don't like firm massages and when I asked him to apply medium pressure, he actually listened and would ask from time to time if the pressure was okay, unlike other therapists. Went for a couple massage today and it was absolutely amazing. The masseuses are very friendly and kind. They make you feel very welcome and accommodate to what you would like. The atmosphere is very relaxing and they use a lot of aromatherapy. They also utilize a variety of techniques in their massaging and take their time. We have been to quite a few massage places, but this one by far has been the best. The ambiance in every part of the place is relaxing. We were definitely able to relax and unwind. Elaine was so wonderful and I didn't even get a massage, my wife did. I was provided wine, snacks and some TV to watch while my wife received her massage. My sister-in-law and I visited today for a "sole natural" session, which was foot reflexology and a modified massage. The spa is clean and relaxing. Nice music playing. Sunny and Eileen, who gave us massages, were friendly and capable. While Eileen (the co-owner) is fabulous, her partner, John, is not. He is not a licensed masseuse, and yet offers to give massages (which we refused). My sister-in-law had received a massage from him a few months ago, and he gave a terrible massage. I heard him say he was not licensed when a health inspector came in after my massage. Is this really a reputable place if the owner offers and gives massages, but is not licensed? Beware! read more

My friends and I just went here and it was amazing!!! I love it. The lady who massaged me (sadly forgot her name, but she is always there. I think she is the owner), anyway, I had a whole body massage and she was so gentle yet hit all the spots that were sore on my body. This place has great customers service and super attentive. I love it here so much. My togo spot to go to from now on. Yes it is a bit pricey but it is definitely worth it. The music and the whole environment were all so relaxing. I really struggled with writing this review because like Elaine but that was about it. She was nice, accommodating, and worked hard on my back and neck. Not my gluts so much even tho I put that on the form as a problematic area. For a foot massage they give you a flimsy hospital robe. Not sure why. And then I was marched out semi nude to a chair that's basically in the middle of the salon. No privacy at all. People talking and walking past. Looking at my back and butt. Y'all I was so stressed and it was late so at that point I just let it go. But I was uncomfortable. The salon was cluttered and very very small. Towels everywhere. They charge $45 dollars for foot massage and other places charge $25...and they don't offer anything more an extra $20. Again, I doubt if I return but if I do it would be because of Elaine's service (even though she forgot to give me water). Another thing she did was massage my feet first and then my fAce...I wanted to scream but let her continue. I broke out the next day. Second thought...I won't be back. read more

She was booked so I went off her recommendation to make an appointment with Mia. I'm kind of a massage junkie and that was the best massage I've ever had in my life. She used a combination of styles hot towels, hot stones a little bit of stretching and just the best care I've ever received. Please give this local business a try. I'm not sure what happened to this place, but Saturday wasn't a good experience. The receptionist called me 45 minutes before my appointment I thought to confirm. Instead she asked if I would be able to reschedule my noon appointment to 1. I told them I'd need to check because I had previous plans that day. Then the receptionist asked me what exactly I needed done. I said I needed a focus on my back and she then proceeded to tell me I should get the full body massage. I then told her kindly I picked the Sole Natural package for a reason and that I would call back when I knew if I could reschedule to 1. When I called back to decline, they told me I could still do the noon appointment, but by that time I was a bit turned off and confused for the whole point of the first phone call. I did not enjoy my experience. The place is small, the robes they offer are literally those blue thin hospital robes, the sandals are plastic re-used sandals (not very hygenic) and the locker/changing area is behind a curtain in the main room (no privacy at all). My massage was way to rough I felt that the masseuse was wrestling with me. I picked a package where I was supposed to have the option between 2 types of massage. Nobody asked me what kind I wanted, she just went straight to the massage of her selection. There is no communication before or after the massage. After the massage was done they just left the room without any indication of what to do next or if we were done. Definetely will not go back. My mom and I came in today for foot massages and we LOVED it! The spa is very clean, and well run. The staff was super friendly and so kind. We were offered wine, beer, hot tea, or water to start. The room where the massage is done was incredible- comfy chairs, tvs for each chair (set on a music station but we were offered the opportunity to watch Netflix, tv, use the Internet...). We both opted for the headphones with music- incredible music playing!! Lights were turned down low, water running gently in the background, and LED candles set the mood. My masseuse used great pressure, checked in with me to make sure I was doing okay, and took care of me! She did my feet, my legs, my arms, my head, and my shoulders- all under the "foot massage" package!! Afterwards, we were invited to stay and relax as long as we wanted! They offer great pricing (and an even lower priced foot massage option to come!), membership options, and excellent service! We will be back again very soon!!! :) read more

Last Saturday my wife and I came here. This was my 3rd or 4th time. As usual I was more than happy and my wife loved it also. The ambiance and staff are beyond compare and I've been seeing massage therapists for close to 25yrs. They've upped their game....not only do they offer water or tea, we were also offered wine and cheese/crackers. It was a wonderful red wine and the cheese was Chipotle--i think brie-with a strawberry jam that married well with the spice. It doesn't matter who you get the massage from, they are all wonderful. Woke up with a very painful neck & shoulder, called Sole Natural and was able to get in right away. This was the most thorough & deep massage I've ever had. It went beyond a comfortable relaxing treat to therapeutic and healing. As I laid there on the bed I was making a list of everyone I was going to tell about this place. We will definitely be reviewing our budget to see how to fit in regular massages. I don't think I will go anywhere else ever again. read more
