I can say that I would not be alive to write this if not for her help, and she has figured out myriad medical conditions that I later had diagnosed before any of my doctors. Everything from diabetes insipidus to autism spectrum disorder, from hEDS to MCAS to POTS, and from gastroparesis to rapid gastric emptying, Nikki has noticed and is knowledgeable about them all. She cares so much, she'll research a client's symptoms to help figure out what's going on. I often joke she needs an embroidered "Nikki was right" sign to point to, as she's right so very often. I also wouldn't be eating solid food without Nikki's patient guidance on gradually weaning me off a feeding tube and back to eating by mouth. It has not been a smooth journey, and I have not been the easiest client, but I wouldn't be where I am today without her compassion, caring, experience, and expertise.
