I urge you to carefully consider this before contracting with any hospice provider. Unfortunately, our experience with Faith & Hope made an already painful situation even harder. In April 2025, my mom suffered a massive stroke. She was placed under Continuous Care (CC), which meant she required critical, around-the-clock nursing support. We were told her case would be re-evaluated after three days. However, the care was stopped in less than 24 hours and we were given only 4 hours' notice that services would be discontinued. At that point, it was clear our needs no longer aligned with Faith & Hope's philosophy of care. We scrambled to hire private help on extremely short notice. That night, my mom was in significant pain & experienced agitation. She needed her medication adjusted and an increase of the dosage frequency to help manage her symptoms. The next day, we made final attempts to Faith & Hope to reassess mom's eligibility for CC, even though the on-call night nurse, when we asked, did acknowledge that we were free to seek another hospice provider. We waited all day for a response from Faith & Hope, but heard nothing. Faced with another evening without adequate care, we transferred my mom to a different hospice. They gave us the right care without hesitation. Sadly, our mom passed away only 4 days later. The only positive experience we had with Faith & Hope was with Nurse Theresa. She cared for my mom with compassion, dedication and a true commitment to patient advocacy. Theresa's thoughtfulness and support helped guide my brothers and me through an incredibly challenging time, and for that we are deeply grateful.

Vanessa who answered the phone answered all my questions and got back to me in a timely fashion. She didn't miss a thing and once we were signed up I felt great relief knowing I had this company on board to walk me through this process. I called on a Monday, the nurse Amanda came to assess mom that afternoon and we had approval for services within an hour. By the next morning all sorts of equipment was delivered; it was amazing how quickly they worked. The next day Juliet the RN came and checked out mom. Both nurses were so kind and gentle with my mom. Juliet went over the transitioning signs and other information that was very helpful to me in knowing what to expect. She spent a lot of time with me, I never felt rushed; Juliet's care was genuine. Communication was top notch; I received text notifications every time Juliet was going to come by. Both Juliet and Joyce the social worker arrived within minutes of my mom transitioning and it was so comforting to have them here. I had interviewed other hospice companies in the past and while the people I met with were nice, they felt a bit fake. I did not feel this way about Unique Hospice. Their attention and care is real and very respectful. I highly recommend Unique Hospice to walk through this difficult time with you. Thank you Vanessa for your excellent immediate communication and support with questions that I had. Thank you Joyce for your attention and compassion and for talking me through this grieving process. Thank you Juliet for being here for me and my mom. I am thankful for you and your knowledge and kindness.

My dad was hospitalized for emergency surgery before he was able to move to Con Carino. Linda was very supportive throughout our decision-making process, then while he was in the hospital, and once he arrived at Con Carino. He was so happy once he got there--he looked around the room, which I had set up with his photos and other memorabilia, and said, "This is where I live now." Unfortunately, my dad didn't recover from his surgery and died a week after he got to Con Carino. When I was researching the care options, I knew that I wanted to have Linda's support for my dad and my family through his death--I just wish it hadn't happened so quickly. I can't speak highly enough about Linda and her staff and the facility.

Before hospice began, I was managing much of my mother's care on my own. It was overwhelming at times, especially in the periods between doctor appointments when there were so many unknowns and I was doing my best to make the right decisions for someone I loved so deeply. When Roze Room stepped in, they gave me one of the greatest gifts I could have received--they allowed me to be a daughter again instead of a full-time caregiver. I was able to focus on what mattered most: spending meaningful time with my mom. There were so many extraordinary people at Roze Room who cared for us along the way. I am deeply thankful for every one of them--from the nurses who lovingly cared for my mother and comforted our family, including those who remained at her bedside around the clock during her final days; to the physician who spent hours with us in our home answering questions and guiding us; to those who arranged medications and medical supplies to be delivered within hours; to the home health aide who bathed my mother with such gentleness, dignity, and respect; to the spiritual counselor who was always available; and to the bereavement team whose support continued even after my mother's passing. I know there were many others working behind the scenes, and I am grateful for every person who played a part in caring for our family. Of course, none of us wanted to face saying goodbye to my mother. But we all agreed that her passing was as peaceful and beautiful as she would have wanted. She was at home, surrounded by the people who loved her most, and receiving exceptional care. Roze Room was truly a blessing to our family. During one of the most difficult times of our lives, they brought comfort, peace, and dignity to every step of the journey. If you are searching for a hospice provider, let me first say how sorry I am that you are facing this difficult chapter. It is a time filled with uncertainty, fear, heartbreak, and grief. I sincerely hope you find the same peace and comfort that our family did. I wholeheartedly recommend Roze Room. They cared not only for my mother, but for all of us, and I will always be grateful for the compassion, kindness, and dignity they brought into our home during a time when we needed it most.

So, after asking friends and everyone I met about what they did and who they used, we found out about Arcadia Gardens Retirement Hotel. I was really happy with the care my mom got there. With their help, she recovered from the first stroke and was able to get around and feed herself. Over time, she had another stroke, a heart attack, and eventually had memory loss, spending her last years in memory care. I want to say that not only did my mom get wonderful care, but they also cared about me! They made sure I understood what my mom needed. They went over her meds, always explaining what she was taking, and talked about diapers, what brands worked best for her, wheelchairs, mattresses for the hospital bed, and so on. I will say I went several times each week to check on things - it's teamwork, and with Arcadia Gardens on my team, my mom had a good life right up until the end.
