He was initially contracted to do waterproofing as well as concrete work and stone veneering. After accepting the job, he called me asked for an upfront payment. The total job was quoted at around $9000 and he asked for $2250. I sent it to him that evening. Since then, he has not showed up to the site. After I asked him a few times to get my money back, he sent 20% back ($450). That was 4 weeks ago. When I explained to him that I would 1 star review his accounts he then told me that I would "not get my money back". He has also threatened physical violence against my GC and has ghosted for the last 3 weeks. DO NOT HIRE THIS MAN IF YOU WANT TO SEE YOUR WORK.
