I looked into that situation and found out that he was trying to shut the business down all because his artist had to be hospitalized and get emergency surgeries. Then Kurt demanded that his tattoo gets finished on HIS time with no regard to the artist being in the hospital. He even admitted on a text message that he doesn't care and will do anything to hurt the business. So take my advice and just ignore that dude. I've never once heard anything bad about this shop. They're amazing. Also to add on, all the artists there have been tattooing for 4+ years... Even the apprentices have been tattooing for at least a year or two. So I'm not sure why he's saying they have zero experience. Check out their portfolios because they all put out GREAT work!!

Make sure you get the work done first before giving him a penny. If not he will drag your sessions on and on, eventually blowing you off and tells you he wont give you any money back. Paid for a full arm sleeve, he would take a 5-hour appointment to do a small 3x5 area then schedule you for another week. Went there for over a year and still not done. Kept asking if I owe him more money, he kept telling me no. In the end he said I got more than I paid for (still not done) and wouldn't continue working on me. Screw them!

I got mine on my forearm I would describe it as irritating pinch or scratch. Nothing I couldn't handle. Laura worked on me about 5 hours. I will now have my Sully with me and take him to my grave. It healed very well, the artist told me how to treat it and to not pick at it and how to apply the ointment to it. I think it's a pretty small shop, but it is run well and and is very clean, a big deal for a tattoo parlor. The last thing I wanted to do is go to a weird, run down tattoo parlor run by a bunch of tatted up ex con looking types. Luckily, that didn't happen. Today I walked in and showed the person behind the counter both my arms and asked if she could do some work on both. She said to come back around 4:00 and she would do I called to confirm and yes she is expecting me. When I got there she said ya, I thought about it and I'm not going to do your left arm (open minor cut). I said I wish you had told me that at 10:00 this morning, and the whole time this other guy keeps interjecting himself into the conversation. They asked me to fill out their long form that I filled out when I had the original tattoo done, and while I understand that it is required, it's just about the way they explained it. Just do your self a favor and go to one of the other thousands of tattoo parlors in the area.

He was great about contacting me and giving me accurate information. My only small complaint is I booked a 1:00 appointment and a walk-in (I am assuming) went long and I didn't get in until 1:30/1:45. I got a semicolon tattoo on my left wrist. Kyle drew it on and adjusted as requested. He did it nice and deep and dark and a week and a half out it is healing nicely. It's very clean and sharp. My friend got hers on her inner upper arm to fill in between tattoos. She got a semicolon as well but with a more rugged/rough feel to it an hers is very nice, clean and to her specifications. He only charged us the shop minimum for the tattoos and I found it very reasonable. Kyle was very clean, professional and accommodating. He is chatty as all get out, hilarious and random. I would recommend him to friends. Overall very happy and satisfied with the work. **Bonus Info: Kyle was on Season 3 (I think) of Ink Master. He tells funny stories about it, and it's pretty cool to say I have a tattoo from an Ink Master tattoo artist. My friend fan-girled out when she found out!***
