We were referred to Jacob Matthews Jewelers by my husband's friend who knows the owner, Tammy Haggerty, personally. She was very friendly and highly professional. When she examined my wedding ring, she noted that the prongs were offset, which could create difficulty in securing the stones when that part of the ring was stretched during the process. However, she reassured us that after they resized the ring, they would go back and tighten up the prongs. Normally it would take a couple of days to complete the work, but the job was expedited and ready for pickup later that same day. It fit perfectly, and we were very pleased with the quality of the work. We look forward to going back with all of our jewelry needs!

I brought Diamond Castle my mother's vintage ring; an irreplaceable heirloom with deep sentimental value. I asked for two small stones to be replaced and the band resized. They accepted the job with confidence and never mentioned any concerns about working with a delicate vintage setting. Within just a few days of receiving the ring back, it fell apart completely. The center stone came loose, several prongs failed, and the setting collapsed. This was not due to age or wear. It was the direct result of poor workmanship. What makes this worse is that if Diamond Castle had simply said the work was beyond their capabilities, I would have absolutely accepted that professional judgment. I would have happily kept the ring safely in my jewelry box and treasured it as it was. Instead, they took on a job they clearly weren't equipped for, and now I don't even know if this precious piece can be salvaged. They did refund me for the work, but no refund can repair the damage done to something so personally meaningful. A reputable jeweler should be honest about their limitations especially when handling sentimental or vintage jewelry. I strongly caution anyone considering trusting Diamond Castle with important or irreplaceable pieces. Transparency, skill, and care matter and unfortunately, my experience showed a lack of all three.

I attempted to redeem a gift card that was purchased on December 31st 2024 at their store, and I was met with nothing but incompetence and a complete refusal to honor it. Despite having the original receipt as proof of purchase, the staff claimed they could not accept the gift card because they had inexplicably failed to load any value onto it. This is utterly ridiculous and a clear indication of their negligence. I presented undeniable proof that the gift card was indeed purchased, yet they offered no reasonable solution or apology for their mistake. To simply refuse to accept their own gift card due to their error is beyond unacceptable and demonstrates a complete lack of customer service. To add insult to injury, while browsing their Pandora selection, I noticed a significant markup on their prices compared to what I've seen at official Pandora stores. Items were being sold for $15 to $25 more than their standard retail price. This blatant price gouging is unethical and makes it clear that this store is taking advantage of its customers. My experience at Benson Diamond Jewelers was nothing short of a nightmare. They not only failed to honor their own gift card due to their own mistake but also appear to be significantly overcharging for popular brands.
